741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is happening with ETHEREUM Now? on: November 07, 2019, 05:12:15 PM
I want to know the opinion of all crypto friends in this forum about Ethereum, because the price of Ethereum is currently unable to rise beyond the $ 300 figure. ethereum prices are only between $ 150 - $ 250. and this incident makes me wonder, why did this happen to Ethereum ??
Nothing is happening to ethereum, the developers of ethereum are doing some upgrades but investors are too busy with bitcoin to realize this, once bitcoin finally stops moving and reaches a more stable price we may see investors trying to find other coins to get profits and the first coin in their list will be ethereum, when that happens I will not be surprised if ethereum reaches a price of 500 to 600 so if you feel you can hold your ethereum for some months or even a year then this is a good moment to buy it.
For me personally, Ethereum is by far the best investment asset, because even in some respects ETH is superior to Bitcoin in technical specifications.  Even if we take scalability as an example, in this regard ETH is much better, which can really attract more investors, which in turn affects its value.

Thanks for playing the competition everyone! The final prize pool was almost 59 ETH, which was pretty nice.

Again, congratulations to the 20 winners and kudos to all participants!

Cheers,

Hello.  Please tell me, are there any requirements for chat users in your game?  The fact is that until recently I did not use the chat, but the other day I went in and said hello, and as a result I can’t use chat today.  It seems that they blocked me or it may be problems with my browser.  I can’t understand.
If it says "you've been muted for _____ seconds" when you try to chat, then a Moderator probably muted you for breaking a rule (begging, spamming, etc).  What does it say when you try to chat?

Also, what is your UID (number next to your name)?  I can look into the mutelogs as well to see if you were muted.

But to answer your question, there aren't any chat requirements except for account level, which is set pretty low right now (2 or 3 I think, maybe even 1).
Thank you very much for the answer.  The name of my account in the game is the same as the name on bitcointalk.  I am sure that I did not break any strict rules, because I did not engage in spamming and begging.  I wrote just one greeting message.  But if you say that there is a restriction for users with low levels, then apparently this is the reason.  The fact is that I have not yet reached the second level.
You have to take a more active position in the game in order to increase your level, because for this period I use only faucet to get balance to play dice and if I play often, then my level rises a little.  Thus, I believe that the level in any case does not depend on your deposits, namely on your activity on the site.
743  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Playbetr.com🔥The Crypto Casino Sportsbook LIVE Dice 15 Coins-BTC ETH XMR+🔥 on: November 06, 2019, 06:29:11 PM
How to change the number of stack when betting on sportbook? I only can bet $1 per times, wanna increase but don't know how?

Have you tried to change a browser? if panjul07 instruction does not work (but I know it will becauze I just tried it right now and it worked) try to use another browser like brave as it's now supported of playbetr.

Thank you to itsmylife and panjul for your responses.

asu you should be able to type in the number you want to wager as panjul has stated.  Please let us know if you continue to have an issue here or by going to www.Playbetr.com and then clicking the support tab.
Hello, please tell me, do you have plans in the future to create a mobile application for Android smartphones and tablets?  I will see that many users experience certain difficulties due to the use of the browser, but it would be much easier for me to use the application, not the browser.  In general, your resource is quite interesting and the design of the site is informative and easy enough for the user to perceive.  I believe that the interface is the calling card for any project.

Basically the number of users experiences difficulties while using browser is still low. Most issues are from those who are using Brave browser while it seems not a problem anymore. Having android application is good but it is not that good for gambling activity. Using browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Opera is still much more better than using android application IMO. I believe most gamblers especially those who used to play big amount will still prefer to use Desktop for their gambling activity instead of using their mobile phone.
I'm sorry buddy. But if this is true, then what can be the restrictions for gambling if a mobile application is created?  Or maybe such a step for the team will not be profitable?  I can’t understand this situation a little.  Of course, I understand that if a person uses a browser, then there are no restrictions for him, even if the low speed of the Internet, when you are far from civilization or a person is in poorly developed countries.  If in such conditions a person used the application, then the quality of the game would have studied many times.  Nevertheless, so that you understand me correctly, as an example, you can take the activities of a trader when I use the exchange application more for convenience, because the browser reduces my capabilities.
744  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please DON'T pay any taxes on your crypto! on: November 06, 2019, 06:10:04 PM
This might be one of the stupidest advises I ever come across

Why? He's not asking you to stop paying taxes at all but not pay taxes for holding. Some countries want you to check the value of your held crypto every year and pay taxes based on what it gained vs fiat. This is idiotic because it forces people to sell their precious crypto to cover taxes. Say you have 1 million dollars worth of bitcoin and aren't planning to sell at all. You also don't care what the value in fiat is. One year it triples in value and you have the same number of coins but worth 3 million which makes you owe something like 500k USD in taxes. Most people don't have that kind of money. Why would the government force people to trade vs their local fiat all the time even if they don't want to.

I agree it's best to keep your crypto in secret and pay taxes only when you sell.
It seems to me that every cryptocurrency user could quite rightly pay taxes in the form of interest for cashing cryptocurrency in Fiat funds.  But when it comes to cryptocurrency trading, then every legal cryptocurrency exchange will pay its taxes to its state, and each user will pay a percentage to the exchange from each transaction, as is happening now.  Cryptocurrency is a valuable asset that users store in wallets and no one should demand taxes for these assets, because only a real business that receives daily, monthly profits must pay taxes.
745  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's acceptance in the World on: November 06, 2019, 05:54:20 PM
Bitcoin is unexpectedly becoming a recognized payment method. There are loads of different places or websites that will accept payments in Bitcoin and if this continues people will recognize it be accepted but it still depends on the government

That's true, it seems that bitcoin is most widely use online since a lot accepts payment through bitcoin online and bitcoiners also use it to do exchanges from one person to another and I think it will continue to be in the future and I believe it is just a matter of time until a point where majority of the people are using bitcoin.
To date, there has been a lot of information that large international companies were interested in Bitcoin, which could positively influence not only the future of Bitcoin, but also the development of the entire cryptocurrency market.  Nevertheless, Bitcoin cannot satisfy all the requirements due to problems with transaction speed and unstable price.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Did China Dominate Bitcoin? on: November 06, 2019, 05:18:41 PM
China doesn't dominate Bitcoin, only Bitcoin mining. We don't know who owns the most Bitcoins and on where do the wealthiest holders live. Those people really dominate the industry. People who have hundreds of millions in Bitcoin like the Winklevoss Twins, Richard Branson, Mike Novogratz and the rest of them. When you have enough coins to crash the market you dominate it.
Of course, I completely agree with you that the big owners of Bitcoin are completely different people, not Chinese citizens, but nevertheless, making all their names public is almost impossible.  But if we are talking about the dominance of china citizens in relation to Bitcoin, then in my opinion we are talking about controlling the hash of Bitcoin speed, where about 70% are controlled by Chinese miners.
747  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A world of opportunities for freelancers on: November 06, 2019, 04:41:46 PM
It seems to me that before raising the topic of remuneration of freelancers, you need to consider in more detail the activities of these people and what kind of work they do.  Based on this, it is necessary to take into account the fact that it is possible for the customer to pay for the work with cryptocurrency.  Of course, if a certain freelancer already has authority, then he can set certain conditions for the customer, including wages in cryptocurrency.  But if cryptocurrency will be used in the near future in a person’s daily life, then even for working on the Internet this should not be a problem.
748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Donating the Gambling profits on: November 04, 2019, 06:11:51 PM
If I could, I would. If I'd be lucky to win big time, then why not donate some of my win to those who are unfortunate? Really I would love to do it. It feels so much better when you helped other people. But since I haven't won such big amount, I still can't do it. When I say big amount, prizes from lottery like millions and such that will make me a millionaire, then I'll help other people and even the environment.
But since I ain't that lucky, I can't do what I imagined. But when I have extra money from my winnings and I would see some homeless or kids, I'll give them a bit of help.
That's the problem of us because we are not winning a big amount so we did not give any donations but for sure incase im win like hundred thousands dollars or up I will going to help and donate to the charity. I hope those player who have big winnings in gambling donate even a little only because they have power to help people because they have a lot of money we are talkinv abouts the needs of them.
I am sure that everyone in his life once did or still will do a good deed for another person, regardless of what financial situation he is in.  Of course, it would be very good if a person who makes a lot of money or who is lucky to easily get a lot of money helps those people who need it.  There is an expression that money does not smell.  This means that any money can be donated.
749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Kovalev WBO Light Heavyweight Championship on: November 04, 2019, 05:51:09 PM
Props to Canelo for that vicious KO, Kovalev will probably be eating through a straw for a few weeks after getting his jaw knocked off his face.

Just saw an interview with him. Sitting smiling, chatting. Everything is fine with his jaw. How much did he got ? 5kk $ ? The guy just sold belt for 5kk$ and now can retire for couple of years  Grin The guy is 36 years only, but looks 45+
Considering that there were problems with weight, because he could not fit into the appropriate framework for weighing, it seems to me that the main goal of Kovalev was to make money and leave.  Perhaps there was even no talk of a possible victory, nor was the hard work to achieve it.  Nevertheless, for a fighter who is already over 35, this is the end of his career anyway.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: G7 report regarding Bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies. on: November 04, 2019, 05:06:20 PM
in my opinion if cryptocurrency is used as a transaction tool in daily life it is difficult but does not rule out the possibility of happening because some projects in my country cryptocurrency can buy the goods they want but within a limited market scope.
Unambiguously for some countries, any statement by officials of the leading countries of the world cannot be an indicator.  As a resident of Ukraine, I understand that my country is more or less dependent on the countries of Europe and the USA, but nevertheless, some online resources and online stores use Bitcoin as payment without any restrictions.  At the same time, there are no prohibitions on the part of state bodies to use cryptocurrency, since in our country cryptocurrency has not yet been recognized as a financial asset.

Most likely this is a secret, but still I’ll ask. Are there any setups for automatic dice to stay in a small minus, but wind up the volume for the competition? But most likely whoever uses this just will not tell me Lips sealed
No, there's no secret. It's called a strategy which they come up at the very last minute of the contest.

It's about the bankroll that you have and most that has bigger bankrolls has higher chance of winning not just gambing alone but also in the contest.

These are usually, trade secrets that not many would tell you about and if they do then don't instantly believe them as they might have said something just to confuse you. These strategies aren't usually shared as it takes time and money to devise them and I'd be surprised if someone was to share theirs
You are absolutely right and that is why I never pay attention to any tips and examples of strategies, not only in gambling, but also in trading.  I’m just starting to understand gambling and have already realized one thing, that the main thing is to effectively use the capabilities of faucet, which provides a resource to get the first balance and understand how dice work.  Everything else is, first of all, luck, because I do not see another factor of influence on the result.

753  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do expert traders hide their loses? on: November 03, 2019, 08:03:51 AM
Probably but I think that there is nothing wrong about hiding your losses because exposing them will just make the others to afraid in investing. It is just like spreading FUDs as the people will only think that Crypto investments is really risky making them to stay away in crypto therefore it would be better if we will just show them that we are earnings so that we could attract more people to join and invest in crypto.
In any case, a professional trader hides all the information that would be interesting to other users.  I relate to this simpler, because traders hide not only information about their losses, but also about good profit.  Very often I read topics where people ask professionals to share their strategies and many speak out on this subject.  But I am sure that no one will tell about a real strategy that brings a good result.  And no one wants to talk about personal lost at all.
754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How did you start trading? on: November 03, 2019, 06:56:20 AM
Today, I believe that it is trade and long-term investments that are the most profitable business in the cryptocurrency market.  Until recently, I participated in bounty companies and invested inheritance in profitable projects.  But the situation worsened and even investments stopped giving any income.  I decided to study trading, because today for many cryptocurrency users this is the only good source of income.  Of course, I am still a beginner, but gradually I am gaining experience with daily trading, using those moments in which I invested until this time.
755  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs Kovalev WBO Light Heavyweight Championship on: November 02, 2019, 09:50:46 AM
Guys, what about the fact that Kovalev does not meet the requirements because of his weight?  He even had to take off his underpants for weighing in order to pass the weigh-in the second time.  I doubt that for the remaining days before the fight, the fighter will reduce his weight.  For some reason, the Mexican side does not respond to this.
756  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: November 02, 2019, 09:03:56 AM
I was thinking that investors would think the cryptocurrency market as an alternative to traditional investment products.
Having said that, my point was that those two markets have a reverse impact.

If the stock market goes down, then investors would start searching for alternative (more profitable) investments and turn to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
The last days stock market crash seems that lead the market cap of the crypto market down.

Does the Stock Market has impact over the Bitcoin price?
Although bitcoin is an alternative for shareholders when the stock market is crashing, I think bitcoin is not the only best alternative for shareholders to save their investment. Maybe they will choose commodities like gold or oil that are more stable than bitcoin which has price volatility.
I believe that in the first place everything will depend on the risks that arise in the stock market and in the cryptocurrency market.  Of course, a certain part of the shareholders in any case will switch to cryptocurrency, because it, after all, also becomes a very interesting and popular asset.  But whoever is accustomed to take less risks, in any case, will buy up more stable assets.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Libra Disrupt The Financial/Economic System? on: November 02, 2019, 08:35:23 AM
As Zuckerberg himself says, Libra is by no means going to become the currency of any kind that impedes the current financial system, but in the Congress his words did not convince anyone.
Yes, I don’t seem to be inclined to listen to him there. According to Zuckerberg himself, he is ready to leave Libra if Congress does not approve it.
I think that it is necessary to understand here that if Congress nevertheless approves such an ambiguous project, then, with a high probability, it will be completely subordinate to the regulators and, therefore, will not be able to harm the financial system. In any case, I think so.

Good point. Libra by no means will be able to disrupt our economic system since it'll be a "reincarnation" of the current banking system. Facebook will act as a "Central Bank 2.0" subject to regulators worldwide. In this scenario, the Blockchain cannot fulfill its true potential since it was designed to be free from middleman or third parties. It's not a question whenever Libra will disrupt the economic system, but rather if Blockchain and decentralized cryptocurrencies will be able to truly change our economy for the better. So far, this seems to be the case, as people are using decentralized payment systems for their own benefit.

Nonetheless, neither Facebook or another mainstream company will be able to disrupt our economic system in its entirety. Only governments and central banks will be able to disrupt the economic system via the use of Blockchain technology for their own benefit. They won't allow private monies (like Bitcoin, Ethereum, or even Facebook's Libra) to take over Fiat anytime soon. In the end, Facebook's ambitions of a worldwide cryptocurrency for the "unbanked" may result to be more of a dream than anything else. Just my thoughts Grin
The incompetent government, corruption and the influence of businessmen and oligarchs on the governments of their states will somehow destroy the economic system of any country, even without the help of the blockchain.  You can take any country we take as an example where the economy is very weak, although it has very good potential due to its resources.  But if the state machine does not work like clockwork and is run by professionals for the benefit of its citizens, then the use of cryptocurrency will only benefit, although in my opinion the control and regulatory process should still be mandatory.
758  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman: Facebook Should Adopt Bitcoin, Drop Libra Project on: November 02, 2019, 08:15:09 AM
We can change and tweak this as much as we can but that doesn't change the main concept. Facebook should not make their own currency that would give them too much power and make people tied to facebook financially as well. Having their own currency would give facebook way too much power and it would make them super rich as well because people would be paying facebook constantly for it.

However, if facebook started to help people use another currency, it could be bitcoin or it could be anything else and also help them cash it out wherever then people would basically be loving it. It doesn't have to be bitcoin, it can be something smaller, ethereum, litecoin, hell it could be doge all I care but this just means facebook won't have that kind of power.
I believe that in any case, the problem is the regulation and control of cryptocurrency.  Facebook wants to implement a project that will be independent of all regulatory authorities, including the state system.  Of course, this is not beneficial for the government.  But what will be the value of the Libra coin for users if the Facebook project does not provide real benefits.  If, for example, I am a businessman and will use cryptocurrency in my online store, then I will never sell goods for Libra, if later I can not sell this coin or provide a report on my activity regarding the use of this coin as a means of payment.
759  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency usage will boost economy or make it worst ? on: November 02, 2019, 07:43:28 AM
As long as cryptocurrencies are not officialy part of economy system, so without regulation and formal introduction into economy system, or governments are not collecting taxes from crypto related businesses they can't make any (recorded) impact on economy, bad or good. That is my opinion.
However, cryptocurrencies can influence individuals in terms of their financial situation and similar but that doesn't have any global impact.

If you recall 2016 and 2017, then cryptocurrency made a splash among cryptocurrency users, where many people got their financial independence, which they dreamed about for many years.  It was cryptocurrency that gave such opportunities due to its volatility.  But if you take into account the fact that cryptocurrencies can be used for bad purposes, for example, to avoid paying taxes, then you are really right, because in the absence of some control over the cryptocurrency market, the economies of the countries will not have any benefits, but only a negative impact.  But if the cryptocurrency is used legally, then non-cash payments using cryptocurrency will reach a new level, thanks to the speed of transactions and security.
760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: November 01, 2019, 07:02:06 PM
After playing gambling games hundreds of times, without much effort in winning substantial profits at all, it makes me wonder what could be the secret of gambling? Personally, I find myself comfortable playing crypto-based gambling games, because of their greater level of accessibility than traditional games. I believe that gambling games which use cryptocurrencies and Blockchain tech, are much fairer than traditional ones within the mainstream world. Yet, you tend to lose more money than you've initially invested into a gambling game.

Which is why, I'm deeply curious to know if there's actually a secret within gambling that would allow me to win more than losing? Any thoughts about this will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

There's a lot on Youtube, but it's a pitch for e-books or courses on how to win in gambling and it comes with hundreds of dollars tag, I don't know how effective these are, there's even an e-book about winning in a lottery, but there's no guaranty that these are effective so far no one has posted here that he is successful because of those e-books or courses, or maybe nobody here is buying those yet.

I saw several youtube channels where the channel creators considered themselves sports betting trade specialists, then I went to the link they recommended to take the sports betting trade course, it turns out that their website always has a free tip .. I used the free tip that they give ... guess what happened? the free tips they give are wrong. they make good analysis of the games but bet wrong. Is case to say that it is better to trust yourself
Today, the network has very little useful information if you evaluate everything that is printed on blogs and posted on video channels.  It seems to me that these users distribute their content because this is their main type of earnings, but they are by no means professionals in the field of activity that they are talking about.
