But I agree to the cons also after what happened to Luna and UST. This makes no sense after your previous statement. First, you like the idea of replacing fiat with crypto, but then you also like crypto that is 'stable' which means 'pegged to fiat'? If we want to get away from fiat, we can't promote 'digital fiat'.. Unless a stablecoin exists that is pegged to 'purchasing power', which I don't think exists as an established index or anything like that. Not only does the value of stable coins depend on a single company, that also gives them the power to "taint" any coin they want. They could just as well have used a central database instead of a blockchain. It gets even worse when a certain scam exchange creates their own centrally controlled blockchain and adds a stable coin (and even Bitcoin!) on their own fully controlled blockchain. Now there are 2 companies that can taint you "stable" coins! TL;DR: "not your keys, not your coins". |

The problem is not in the forum and most of its users, but in the fact that there are certain users who are very easy on the feedback trigger, they have been doing it for years and no one can do anything to them, and they are in the DT system. When I said "the forum", I meant it's users. And indeed, it's not all of them, but there's enough red tagging going around to scare Newbies. I like to ask myself: "does my red tag make the forum a better place?", and if not, I shouldn't tag the user. |

I remember that Royse777 mentioned the abuse of the no deposit bonus and that the events coincided with the recent drop in the price of Bitcoin. The bonus was 7 euro free bet for 777 users. That's 5439 euro, minus the house edge because of wagering requirements. Even if it's abused, a few thousand euro shouldn't be a problem for any casino. Unless there's literally no money. |

It's running on an 11th gen i7 with 16GB RAM and a 1000 mbps internet connection. With those specs, all I can think of is a terrible memory load. Are you using HDD or SSD? Do you have enough Peers connected? And is your system by any chance low on RAM and actively swapping? If it is: close other applications. If it's not: set database cache (dbcache) to 6144 (6 GB) and restart Bitcoin Core. Your sync should take about 8 hours. |

I just noticed FinderOuter crashes when I search for Missing Base58 and enter a complete private key (52 characters, starting with L).
When I change the last character into a *, it works and gives 4 different address formats.

The simplest solution I've come up with is hitting the preview button a few times so the session will update automatically and you don't have to rewrite your post. That doesn't help: even after days, the Preview button works fine. But you can't Post it without reloading the page. |

In other words, the site is not yet working in the .com version. At least for me.  It's working just fine, to inform you to use Tor browser: .com is now online. It does not allow mixing. It is used for informational purposes only. Using the .onion site is better for privacy, and it's safer. |

As far as my case against the liar @examplens goes, I contacted Cyrus a week ago to expose his lies but no answer. I’ll be contacting theymos. I hope not all admins here are on this as well. I’m sure they can verify he is lying. Even if the forum stores when someone "voted" on a Flag (which isn't certain), and even if Admins are willing to entertain your request (which I doubt will happen), "lying" is allowed on Bitcointalk. |

Perhaps Theymos tweaked the time for the session to expire recently? I don't think so, because it doesn't happen all the time. It's weird: a few times it told me my session expired just shortly after I clicked the link and typed a message. I've also had Merit links tell me the session expired, and those links don't even have the " sesc=" in the URL. Unless there's a strong reason to have session expire, it would be nice if it can be extended to a much longer time. I often take hours before I post something. |
