7481  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building Bitcoin ATMs on: October 28, 2017, 03:13:17 PM
My friends and I are considering building bitcoin ATMs. We're still doing the necessary research and planning and we've been looking at existing ATMs like Lamassu. Based on what they've been reporting online (and other sources), it seems to be a pretty profitable business.

We understand that there are lots of regulations involved depending on the country of residence, but we are considering just building and selling the machines, not operating them. Off the bat, are there any other important considerations we should know? Red flags? Any feedback will be appreciated.
Why are you only considering to do build and sell those ATM machines. If you are one of the pioneers on Lamassu to have that type of business, the competition will not be tough to you. But expect that there will be competitors that are going to come out when they see that your business has no competitor. I'm curious about the current research that you are doing. Could you share us on what are your gathered information base on your plans and research?
This is right if I do have the knowledge and the resources on bitcoin atm's then this would really give you some serious fortune and as being said you wont really have any competition knowing that bitcoin isn't known yet globally or on most countries on the world which if there are some several bitcoin users on your place then it would be an advantage.Later on selling out or exporting these atms will extent possible income.
7482  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Marijuana and Crypto on: October 28, 2017, 02:08:29 PM
I'd like to start a distribution of Marijuana online using crypto currency. I am currently in Canada (Vancouver) and the legalization is only a few months away. I know the owners of many dispensaries around here and there is a demand. I'd like to know which direction to take it. I also spoke with a close friend of mine who works at a marketing firm about creating a coin for a uber type of business. Develop an app that allows limos/car rides using this app to pay for the ride. Uber is not allowed in BC while there is a huge demand for it.

Insight on how to make this come to life would be greatly appreciated and anyone that works with me to make this come to life will be eventually compensated for helping. I do have a large team of people that I can get behind this product but at this time I do not have the whitepaper done or any insight on how it can be done.

The marijuana situation will eventually turn worldwide. British Columbia grows the best marijuana in the world and I am well connected to the industry.

Looking forward to the responses. As I said any real insight and help I will be sure to pay it forward. This will come to life eventually but if I could use the forums knowledge to make it faster and more efficient why not create a mutually beneficial situation. I can send my phone number via PM if that works better or skype.

Ricky
Ive  heard such news regarding on the legalization of marijuana on your place. It would really be a good idea if you would able to make your own coin related on the purpose that you do like, just as being mentioned you would use it on transactions regarding on buying or selling such marijuanas. It just a quiet odd thing for most people for this thing to be legalize but eventually I do love the idea this would really make some good additional profits if people would tend to use your own coin. There are lots of coin developers on here.
7483  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens to Crypto when normal stockmarket collapses?? on: October 27, 2017, 02:33:47 PM
crypto currencies love unstable air. so when the normal stock market goes down, the crypto money goes up.
We cant still be sure if those investors would decide to jump on Cryptocurrencies if they would able to suffer such decline on stock market.Maybe there would be stocktraders would make such decision but not fully switch into things that they don't even have any idea on what it is. Knowing stock traders or investors would most likely not to engage into non-regulated things.
7484  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Using Bitcoin and altcoins when under 18 on: October 27, 2017, 01:13:42 PM
Don't think you'll have an issue with exchanges, but the banking part of it. To cash it, you'll need a bank account. I mean in the US, you can get one but your parent has to be on it as well.

i think he can use his parent identity to register in one bank and he can use the same identity to register in the exchanges. but i think he can register in the exchanges with his identity without his parents and only save his bitcoin in private wallet like in jaxx, mycelium or another so when he is 18 years old and he can have his own bank account. i think there is many ways that he can do to using bitcoin and altcoin and i think he can just save the bitcoin and altcoin for his future and never cash out if he is not 18 years old.
As an underage below 18 there are lots of thing that do pop out in our mind which thinking off for long term investment will really be rare and on those ages I'm sure we are always thinking for a new thing to be used on daily basis like cloth, gadgets and other wants since he do know he can able to buy things with just on those earnings that he do get.He/She can actually use his parents information/card on cashing out those money but you would really able to let your parents know on what you are doing specially on the funds you are earning.
7485  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Satoshi Nakamoto Alive on: October 27, 2017, 12:01:47 PM
If Satoshi Nakamoto is a person and alive, wont he come out and claim the fame and success his invention has achieve so far?
If you do able to get along with the trend and all news about on those people who do claim that they are satoshi then you would really able to tell that those are just fakes but who knows if one of them is satoshi but yet this kind of thing is impossible to happen. He wont disclose himself into the public for sure. Just like his own creation he do decide to hide himself into the shadows and just seeing on his creation that took progress and innovation which do really beneficial to human kind.
7486  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Low fee BTC transaction??? on: October 26, 2017, 06:35:07 PM
I can show you txid: f04e16993c526aa22560b8129112c7605a5746e2c3e9b8a24d92c15e48408a1f. I am not in hurry, just to know for future.
yes, it has low fee but not outrageously low
so if you are not in hurry, just relax it will eventually get confirmed
don't worry you won't lose it... just that you can't spend it properly until confirmed
there's also a few services, free or paid, you can use to accelerate it
thank you for the advice could you please tell me about the free bitcoin accelerate  service?
can you please provide the links it will be a great help.

Hey check the viabtc accelerator and pushtx accelerator. These are accelerator in the online where you can faster the transaction whenever the delay you find because of the block delay or low fees.
Whenever you transfer the bitcoin from one wallet to another. Please be careful about setting the fees. Let the transaction is to be a default value. You will not find any issue in delay of your transaction.
Just to add up. Viabtc transaction accelerator doesn't even push a transaction which do have lower fee ranging on -100 sats/byte which It would really shows error when you tried up to accelerate it.If you are on a hurry there are other service which would push up the transaction but they do have some fees unlike on viabtc. This is why its really very important to set fees according into your desired confirmation time.
7487  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why hasn't any government stopped Bitcoin? on: October 26, 2017, 05:33:00 PM
How? I have asked this question for years and never gotten an answer. How do you think it is even possible to stop bitcoin?
You wont able to get the answer because we do know already the answer on our own minds  Cool. No matter how hard would try for those government to ban or prohibit bitcoin on to their vicinity they cant really put a total shut down which bitcoin would really sustain those issues and possible stoppage.I would bet that there would be really a time that they would give up and would rather accept it in the end.
7488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Market will fall today, how to predict?? on: October 26, 2017, 04:41:45 PM
On which things does this crypto market depends?
How to predict that market is going to crash today?

Well to begin with, why are you looking for the market going to crash anyways?

Our market has matured enough and it will not just crash if that's what you are thinking. Maybe as what others have said, this is called price correction. Sometimes the price corrects itself and readies for consolidation. Once the momentum has build up, it will march towards another bullish market just like we see today and yesterday. And regarding your other question, the crypto markets depends on supply and demand and speculation. If there's a good news on the way, then the price will go up. And if there's a negative news like what the China news last month, the price will dive. No rocket science here. I think I don't need to explain supply and demand, it is a basic tenant in our economic class.
He loves to see the market crash so that he can able to buy cheaper price. When we do talk on this situation on bitcoin then this thing is not possible as of now and as being said the price do have a good strong support from community which most likely crash wont easily happen anytime on it but this thing is possible on most altcoins which price dumps or crash can be easily to see.You are right this kind of question do only really need common sense even understanding simple economics subject would able to give you the answer already.
7489  Economy / Economics / Re: Whats the ranking of bitcoin in terms of currency on: October 26, 2017, 03:45:31 PM
Is it like #1 since it costs like ~$4000 for 1
What currency? Knowing that theres a digital currency,e-currency,local fiat currency. Ranking? Then when it comes on digital currency then this would be on top spot and us bitcoin users do really know that stuff but yet it do only  be considered on that area since bitcoin cant still be considered to compete with fiat itself. Its not regulated then its normal to think off that it would takes time for it to be adopted even more.
7490  Other / Meta / Re: Is Bitcointalk.to same of Bitcointalk.org ? on: October 25, 2017, 07:49:34 PM
It's not just that one.
There are tons out there.

Be careful what links you click on google and in your PM.
There was a large phishing attempt using bitcointailk or something like that.

The worse part is that google is getting tricked sometimes and if you mistype bitcointalk it will show both results from the real bitcointalk but also from the phishing websites.
Best thing you can do is report those, one report might not do anything but a hundred or a thousand will.

If the entire community of bitcointalk.org would report such site then it would really be effective at all.My comment about that site this is just purely a phishing site which it do really victimize bitcointalk.org users to logged in on the site.If your eyes isn't active or keen on links for sure you will really input your informations there on the site and later on you do find out your account has been hacked. This is actually a users responsibility regarding on how they do secure their bitcointalk.org accounts.

via CoinDesk  https://www.coindesk.com/canada-court-holds-ico-organizer-contempt/

It is now possible to have a regulated ICO in Canada, via the sandbox program... https://www.securities-administrators.ca/industry_resources.aspx?id=1588

So be prepare to see more and more arrest and lawsuits bring by the Canadian Regulators, on any undocumented, unverified and unregulated ICO.

I think this could be a first step to start to "drain the swamp" from scamsters to good guys..

Louis
www.bitcoin-law.ca
Thanks for the link.! Good to know that they are starting to regulate ICO as of now and the step was made by Canadian Government would really be a starting point for others to do such regulation too. For those scam ICO's out there your days are coming to an end and making easy money would really be already a tough job for you guys. Sooner or later this stuff will really be implemented on most countries specially to those who do have active ico projects.
7492  Other / Archival / Re: ,,KYC" selfies for sale on: October 25, 2017, 05:10:26 PM
Do you think it is allowed to sell them here?

Me and a few of my friends would like to raise some extra cash by selling our ,,KYC'' documents, one picture of a document and the other with the person holding that document.

My question is if selling it here is legal (won't get banned).

And what could be the price?
Legal or illegal into forum rules this kind of act is in no doubt illegal. Come to think off you are using other documents and faces just to make pass on KYC policies? This kind of transactions would possible to make mess later on depending on the certain person on where he would use those stuff either on good or bad. Better to find another earning ways than on this one,it would be a bad idea for me.

There are no specific rules about selling documents, but I think that it should be clear.

Selling documents could lead to stealing your identity, so it is illegal in all of the countries, and because it is illegal in any country, it is illegal to sell it on the forum as well.
Anyway I just don't understand why would a normal person sell his identity to someone over the internet that he doesn't know, it could ruin your life and get yourself into serious troubles.

Even on just common sense you would really able to say that this stuff is indeed illegal. Using other documents or identity is not really legal on any way.You would potentially put up yourself behind bars if things would get messed up.This is a serious crime if you do make use it on illegal stuff too.
7493  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Is coinbase a safe wallet on: October 25, 2017, 04:22:53 PM
As per the question is coinbase a safer wallet than blockchain

Way way back I started bitcoin using Coinbase wallet, then now Im using them for the ETH & Litcoin wallet too, PLUS coinbase' mobile app is a great help and I haven't experience any bad issue or problems using coinbase, very secured too!. Smiley

Quite opposite on what I experienced on their android app as its buggy to the point that it doesn't even let me copy my bitcoin address and yes it also freezes sometimes.
I wouldn't call it "secured" as it doesn't even give you your private key so technically you're not in fully control of your funds and is subjected on their policies where changes will be made in the future regardless of your opinion. There's also a bonus of slow support.
Seconded, I have experienced it too on their mobile app which it do really have some bugs which you can even copy your address or even does show some visual glitch for sometime when you are trying to scroll between other accounts. They do have support but its automated and not all issues and questions can really be precisely be answered by that bot.

7495  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Not sure were to post this but It looks like a fake wallet. on: October 24, 2017, 10:10:59 PM
No doubt. Its 100% Phishing site again if you do see it on the very first time you wont really notice the difference but on the 2nd time. From the sender itself I do already conclude it is already fake. Have you seen news@blockchaln.info?  That's should be letter "I" but he used small letter "L" so that it would turns out not to be noticed but my eyes can see those flaws  Cool
7496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: shop-mining.com is a scam??? on: October 24, 2017, 08:47:07 PM
Even they are legit I wont still tend to purchase on those ridiculous high prices. If we do try to see those prices it is too Overpriced compared on the recent price of it which we can see on bitmain.com. I would rather make a purchase there and I would save up thousands of bucks.Usually scam sites do offer cheaper prices but yet this one give me goosebumps. Cool
7497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be careful. (Newbies and others ...) on: October 24, 2017, 08:06:47 PM
In my opinion, most people who are investing in bitcoin currently are new to crptocurrency world and they are riding the bandwagon, but surely, there are also smart investors who have invested lots of money into bitcoin and altcoins. Business minded people will not let their business go down, instead, take the opportunity to buy more bitcoin when the price hits the bottom. Although we may see the price of bitcoin to fluctuate, it is normal in the market. Bitcoin's development will never stop unless technology itself stops. Just hope for the best and believe in the future of bitcoin to be bright.
It is expected that bitcoin price will drop after 25th October, but i think bitcoin has a very stronger support from wise investors, they do not want to let bitcoin down on any cost. We have very good experience from previous day, when bitcoin dropped from 5000$ to 3000$, but at 3000$ bitcoin got a strong support and the price once again start increasing. i am sure that bitcoin price is not going to dump any more, it will now continue increasing and hopefully will reach to 7000$ very soon.
We might not still able to see price dip or correction as of now but yet we cant still be sure since we are still yet on 24 hours passed which means anytime soon those price corrections would happen unexpectedly but regarding on its price development theres no really doubt on that but we should not really believe on it too much knowing the properties of bitcoins price it can really drop anytime.
7498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future? on: October 24, 2017, 07:28:50 PM
The truth is, Bitcoin is not a perfect coin. There are hundreds of good altcoin than Bitcoin like DCR. But the thing is BTC is the first altcoin known by the world. I dont think Bitcoin would end up like Yahoo. Because Bitcoin is not own by any one but rather owned by the whole world.

Yahoo was the first (?) search engine at the time when Internet started.  It was the pioneer in its field.  In the late 90's its market cap reached to a high closed to $120B.   Three and a half years after Yahoo started, Google came out and gradually took away market share from Yahoo.

After 22 years, Verizon bought it for $4.8B.  Would Bitcoin ending up like Yahoo in the future and got beat up by new competitions?

What do you think?  Please provide your reason(s) to support your view.
This is the difference of Bitcoin among those things who are being owned by someone.Just like on Yahoo it is being owned by someone which they do really come to a point on where their era or popularity have fade already.Even on bitcoin isn't really excluded on that one since nothing on this world would really still remain into its place which means it can anytime be replaced by even more advanced and more developed but yet on my view Bitcoin has everything as of now.
7499  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Satoshihack.com?!? on: October 24, 2017, 04:16:57 PM
Hi all,

Im extremely new.

Is Satoshihack.com illegal in generating satoshi and giving them away after completing offers?

Is Satoshihack.com illegal or legal?

Thanks,

HB
Fake! All generators on this online world are 100000% fake and when I test it out on whats behind it then its just the traditional way for them to earn by just accomplishing surveys and others stuffs that would make them money specially on the owner of the site. Only fools would really believe on such thing.Instead of earning you would really be just only the tool for them to earn.Keep away on these kind of websites or offers.
7500  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin legal vs illegal ??? on: October 23, 2017, 08:12:09 PM
The key problem is that bitcoin is a huge and better competitor for the fiat money system of the banks who owns the governments. In many cases the total debt of a country is similiar to what this country has paid as interest for money they have borrowed from the private banks. In other words, if governments wouldn't borrow money for interest from banks, then the total debt of a country could be zero and there would be much more money available for the people.

So if a country declares bitcoin as illegal, then because it's a dangerous system for their money printing system and not because you have the option to use it anonymous. And as several countries already declared it as legal confirms that the possible anonymous use of bitcoin is irrelevant for this decision.
This is true on which there would be always a friction among two things and this is why banking system do really see bitcoin as a competition but yet some wont really bother at all because they know that people or community would still able to stick on traditional ways that they know specially if its backed by the government.Come to think off that most people would really always rely on those things that being legalized or backed by them.
