I can't throttle this speed. I asked for a max of 100 Mh/s but it just seems to give whatever the hell it wants!
ya nicehash does that ;p it's nice when you get a bit of extra hash NORMALLY, but sux when your trying to be nice to a coin's difficulty! i see your hashrate bouncing on the pool heehee, shit eh?  The worst part is that it messes with the difficulty. At least the diff changes are fairly quick with this coin. At this rate, my blasting will be over within a couple of hours  |

I think vlamer is suggesting you give BurtW your login info and let him investigate directly. It's a good idea but it requires trust. I realize you're tired and we're covering the same things over and over but are you absolutely SURE you didn't create this address on your old wallet by mistake? edit: BurtW also has to agree |

What wallet did you use previously? You said you always used this same guy for buying coins. Where did he sent those? Are you creating a new wallet each time or just a new address??

Have heard that kind of hacking software before, which encrypted all files on my computer, and when my brother have been using the computer (or course carelessly), it is hacked and they demand a 1.2BTC ransom... These are just one more bad news of BTC, and even make my family members have even worse image on bitcoin... And we decided not to pay the coins to the hacker as all important files have been backed up.

i am sorry to hear about this. but thid has nothing to do with bitcoin. it is like any other ransom. it could have been done using fiat just the same way and that wouldn't have changed anybodys view on fiat. Right. And a mugger could have used a pillow to smother you, but, for reasons that remain a mystery to me, he chose a Glock. Given that a mugger is someone who attacks and robs a person in a public place, I'd say he was probably hard pressed to find a pillow and you lying conveniently on a surface conducive to smothering. You mean a Glock is a more practical choice? Not sure I understand what you're trying to say. That's too bad because it was sarcastically humorous much like your post yet more so. I think that if the hacker had asked for cash, even make your family have a worse image on cash! Then no one work because fear on cash and they all starve because have no cash to buy nothing. For a while, the network rate had dropped right off and I thought I could pick up some easy coins with my 970 but I could only get maxminers to work for short periods and then I would get disconnects. Not even now. Nope just tried again on both ports - nothing. Anyway, I managed to pick up ypool.ga though and it's working well. Im curious what kind of scrypt hash rates your getting with a 970  Using cudaminer-2014-02-28 x64 I'm getting half a MH/s average. About 500 kH/s. edit: no tweaking edit2: well cudaminer does some auto-tuning of it's own but I haven't tweaked anything Here I felt bad thinking you were die hard GPU fan using your 970 to get a half a Mhash !!! i was gonna send you some coins and put you on some profit with that thing !!!! your blasting 88 mhash on the pool !!! you got loads of equipment over there !!! You're making making me laugh over here. No I am still mining with my 970 but after a while of getting next to nothing, I decided to try out nicehash (somebody here told me about it). Right now I am mining on a 0.01 BTC fixed contract which is almost over. I think I'll end up with close to 200k GPUcoins when it ends. Then I'll be back down to my 500 kH/s again. edit: It wasn't my intention to blast the pool. The minimum rate with Nicehash is 0.1 GH/s for scrypt. Even though I tried a lower number which was accepted, I have still seen rates as high as 0.4 for short periods. I know it drives up the diff and I'm sorry about that. I would have preferred to simply buy the coins but we don't have an exchange. |
