Companies that announce that they accept bitcoin would go in Service Announcements and discussion about them goes in Service Discussion. I really don't think there would be enough demand right now for a sub just for certain 'deals' but they'd be fine in the Marketplace or Service Discussion.

Yes, correct. Or you could write one post before the 8th and then make the other posts at any other time in the future and you will still collect the full 14 points. And yes, you can have as many accounts as you want but if you spam or shitpost from one or more of them then you can have them all banned.
|
|
|
You could probably put it in the Marketplace or Service Discussion. I don't think these deals or discussion thereof would warrant their own section at the moment.

P.S. I only have this account + 1 banned one. Don't misunderstand. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) ~~MZ~~ Lolwut? What was it banned for?

It has. You just need to wait up to an hour for the activity to update.

Primedice campaign was a mess. Main problem was you had to request your payment, which is stupid and generated thousands of unnecessary posts because people didn't catch when and how to do it. Second problem (generated by the first one) was the volume of posts in this thread. So you had to read thousands of stupid posts to be sure not missing important update.
From the update I got this morning it seems like this problem will be solved at least. They seem to be quite serious about cutting down spam and paying only for quality posts, which is good in my opinion. I have no details on the pay-scheme yet or when it will start so please don't ask, but I'm sure Stunna will update us all when appropriate.

I was referring to the table posted by theymos and quoted above.
|
|
|
Some people are just interested in the stats, and the details are now public, they just want an updated table. It 'giving people nothing' is also debatable as the figures are used to appoint new mods which some people will be interested and eager in becoming.

will the new campaign accept newbies?
Very unlikely due to your rank's signature restrictions. At a minimum it'll likely be Members but maybe even limited to Seniors and above.

Haha. Looks pretty boss, but for some reason a wooden dildo doesn't seem like it would be very 'comfortable' and all I can think about is splinters ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Who backed out of paying fot it? That was pretty shitty. Did they put any money in escrow or a deposit?

Id like that, mayve the new and improved BadBear can make it happen?
Yes, his version has updated, Now it is v2.0 . ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Can staff(s) see the reports or just Global moderators and admins or just admins? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) ~~MZ~~ Admins, possibly even only theymos, will have access to the details in those total report tables.

Nope. You probably know as much as I do at the moment. People can still spam on fixed rate deals but both pay per post and fixed will be fine as long as there's minimum requirements and people are kept an eye on or vetted before they're accepted, which I plan to do. Nothing has been confirmed yet and maybe there will be both a fixed and per post campaign but all we can do is wait and see. I'm sure Stunna will announce details when he's ready.

I personally think satoshi has passed on.
Passed on to better things? ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) It's possible that he has in fact died, but he did announce he'd moved on to other things before he disappeared completely so it's likely he just wanted to leave bitcoin to sustain itself, though of course it's still a possibility he has died since.

Not as far as I know, but I agree starting the term on the 1st would be a good idea, but if we miss the 1st of Dec it could start in the new year.

I don't see any reason for fiat to stick around, unless it's by force. Let's imagine bitcoin is accepted everywhere, what possible reason would you have to accept anything else? Perhaps a different coin is more anonymous or has some technical feature. But bitcoin could probably copy those features.
People may be 'forced' to use bitcoin eventually. Fiat has its uses and likely will for a very long time, but it could lose a lot of it's value if mass inflation happens and people could abandon it for other currencies and that's where bitcoin could flourish, though paper money or some other physical currency could still be used for those in the sticks or backwards or something.

Seems like they've been saying that for quite a while now. I'll believe it when I see it though, but this is still encouraging news and at least they look to be eying it up and seeing how they can work with it.

Bitcoin was likely just created by a really smart guy... a really smart guy who nobody knows who he is. Same like we say Alien who build pyramid .... Too much conspiracy in this world , and for some case we will not find the answer.
But Aliens did create the pyramids. Have you not seen the documentary series Ancient Aliens? The evidence is all there ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . I'm sure Ancient Aliens will create an episode about Bitcoin in the near future ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) . Someone actually photoshopped a bitcoin logo into the hieroglyphs on a pyramid wall a while back. Maybe someone can find the picture.

way to spam my post and not answer my question ![Angry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/angry.gif) How was that spam? You should read his post again because it seemed to answer your question. Open Bazaar is an alternative marketplace which is what you wanted. There are currently no other viable markets currently so Open Bazaar will likely be the best one to use when it is operational.

American voters are bipolar too. One day they're like "Obama is great", then the next day they're like "Obama sucks!".
That American voter guy....so crazy.
Isn't that the same with any President/Prime Minster/Political Party though? Normally they say a lot of shit and promise the world to get into power, then when they do they either don't do it or get bogged down in regulations that they can't implement what they promised. Happens all the time.

yeah it should be way way higher totally undervalued
Are you saying that the current price is much low then it should be ? how much 1 BTC should worth at your opinion ? ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) The price is always essentially going to be determined by supply and demand so once the demand goes up so should the price theoretically, and I believe bitcoin has only scratched the surface of its usefulness so far, so yes, the price should reflect that at some point in the future. As long as we can keep pushing adoption to the masses, which I'm sure it will achieve over time, the value should follow.
