Bitcoin is actually not anonymous, but it's pseudo-anonymous. If you send just random transactions then you are anonymous, but if you want to buy something from bitfinex then you are not.
Absolutely spot-on, check walletexplorer.com out if you have doubts. What is ths website about and how to use it? I don't understand what those numbers that are on the website means... can you please explain it to me? It's exactly what it says - it correlates wallet addresses and transaction flows. For example, let's use DPR Seized Coins address, https://blockchain.info/address/1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPHhttps://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/885d7317d7d3db17?from_address=1FfmbHfnpaZjKFvyi1okTjJJusN455paPHAt the top, (The latest tranasctions on that address), you can see dust inputs after the US Marshall Service moved the coins on 2014-06-12 - This site keeps track of wallets/sites who likely own them, so you can see some of the dust was sent from : Bitfinex BetVIP.com (And others unknown to the site, obviously). Try using one of your own BTC addresses, you may be surprised, especially if you gamble or use different exchanges. I remember watching the Bitstamp hacked address using this, and you could clearly see the criminals emptying out the wallet and sending coins to everything from other exchanges, to DNM's, to other wallets etc etc... Pretty much proves bitcoin is not anonymous to me, at least without proper mixing anyhow. I also look at like this - If this public site above can do that much sleuthing on the blockchain, just imagine what governments or independent researchers can do?! Hope that helps.

Well it seems Lealana coins are still being produced and regularly sold by smoothie, so if anything the market is getting saturated and the price can still drop on these coins. Being overfunded does not make it special at all, so the price will be 0.42 (the current rate you suggest) plus the amount it was overfunded - if you're lucky.
Yeah, I realize that, that is why I used the sad face, as I know it probably devalued the coin, if anything. Anyhow, I'm willing to let it go for 0.32BTC, perhaps less if no one is interested. Thanks for your feedback! I'm willing to let this go for 0.28 BTC .. Let me know, otherwise I'll just keep it... I'll take it. Sold, thanks!

Don't quote the most ignored troll on BitCoinTalk, please.
But.. Did you see what you did there?

doesn't this completely undermine the integrity of trust ratings?
Yes, but welcome to bitcointalk - anything goes here apparently.

I think the hot wallet is almost funded enough for the rewards to rise.

That is correct thank you so much for your input you and your FUD friends are really helpful to the community.
And most of all Thank you so much scrypt cc that I have been able to make almost 5,000 us$ in the last 4 months and it would be great to have my beer money for a long time more.
In the mean while how much money did you FUD spreading f*cktards made by wasting your time here, oh right, get a life.

I suggest to the people who are submitting physical coin implementation into their graphics to actually use Silver Wallet Coins! Don't be lazy... Do some Research! Haha. From the looks of it, most people are submitting pictures of casasius coins and then somehow editing them to somehow say "silverwallets". My entry (#3) has an actual picture of a silver wallet one that I actually personally own Fair enough, but you can barely read it once it's an avatar. I see many other designs that are much better IMO. Edit. I guess if I were blazedout419, I'd probably want like another week's worth of posts. Let people really show the best they can do with the time they have, newbies or not, everyone has unique design skills, even me but not for a few years!

The fact that the reward history is showing 34 pages to me, but if i want to open page 2 it freezes at page 1. So maybe the admin wants to hide someting from us. Same with the leaderboard. Why is it not running it is not affected by any hack i think. (If there was a hack) Does he want to hide, that the big guys left his "legit" cloud mining company? Why he, after nearly 3 weeks, is not bringing back the old rewards. He said 5-7 days to recover the losses. That time is over by far now.
I do not trust this cloud mining company at the moment, but at this low price i leave my 5555khs there and see what happens. Not so much to lose.

Difficulty went up by 40% today. Unreal.
New GPU miner or botnet ?
EDIT : ...and its still increasing! 43% increase since this morning....
Hey folks, I remember reading about some botnet that had mined like 65k xmr and was part of some virus - even the pool and address was posted, but for some reason, I cannot for the life of me find it my browser history or searching. Does anyone have a link or anything about that? Not even sure if it was this thread or another monero thread tbh... Sorry, and thanks in advance if you can help me find that again!

Cool, thanks very much, I may buy one soon. Hi, I just ordered one, but it's been so long since I sent any moneroj, I stupidly & accidentally forgot the payment id! I sent you a support request via your webpage, please pm me if that didn't work or if it needs further sorting. thanks, looking forward to this coin!

Thanks everyone - as a newbie to these physical coins, i'm loving all this info. One question though, after finding blazedout's example anacs form - how do you all ship the coin(s)? Airtights? Nothing? Packing tips, info for newbies? Thanks again.

Is anything ever going to happen with this? I am starting to wonder if there is or ever was a criminal investigation going on. Starting to look like Josh is just going to skip away Scott-free(aside from a few civil suits which he can just completely ignore).
Something may happen, it may not. You have to realize that this is very small time for the federal authorities to actually give a shit about, especially because it's such a weird thing. I don't expect much to happen, but I would see stuff happening because of the internet stuff in new england first. That adventure directly screwed over governments and people getting screwed out of internet/phone service they paid for is much more important than people getting screwed over in some hare brained investment scheme that never made a lick of sense. Sorry, hare brained or not, "weird thing" or not, crime is crime and he should be pursued and made to account. Don't worry, the wheels of justice grind slow, but they grind hard in the USA.

SOLD!1 x 1/4 Troy oz. 999 Fine Silver Lealana physical coin (#742). COA not included. Capsule included. 25mm diameter. To make a week-long stupid story very short, I recently picked up one of these, 1/4 oz Silver 0.1 BTC Lealana Bitcoin (Buyer-funded), and attempted to use blocktrail.com's new "Mint" service to fund the coin with .01 BTC, however, they screwed it up twice, and when they refunded my BTC, they sent it to the coin's address, not the address I sent from, thereby over funding the coin with two transactions of 0.11 apiece, so now this coin has .22 BTC on it instead. I'm not sure how much it is worth now, but buying a new unfunded one is ~ .42 BTC, so I'd like to hear any ideas on what this over funded coin should be priced at, also, any offers will be considered as well. Edit - Shipping is from USA, I will pay it if you are in the usa, otherwise we split the cost. I will absolutely send it first for reputable members. Buy it now price is 0.28BTC, otherwise make me an offer. Thanks!
