7521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: June 22, 2017, 08:00:45 AM
As of now, it is hard to buy something with bitcoin because it is not that worldwide accepted and bitcoin is still young and just getting started in getting noticed by the countries around the world, So if a country notice bitcoin then he can easily get adopted and used to be a currency and in that way we can easily now pay the things with bitcoin without having any issue. In terms of speed, it is normal to experience not that lighting fast transactions because of the volume in the network.
7522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 22, 2017, 07:46:27 AM
Well YES. Why ? Because as today we cannot use bitcoin to buy thing in the market especially in our market. I can't use bitcoin to buy foods in our school canteen, I cannot use bitcoin to buy dress, shoes, cap, etc in the store in our town. Maybe I can use it online, but life does not only depend online. There are times I'm in a place where internet connection does not exist and without internet I can't earn, I can't have bitcoin. Maybe in some other country bitcoin as a regular currency is possible but in a place where I live "It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency".

I really agree with this. The same gies for our country. Bitcoin is not yet that popular here and there is no store in the market that accepts Bitcoin as payment. There is also no local online shop that sells products for bitcoin. Maybe in the near future where everyone knows about it.
You should just wait for bitcoin to get recognize in your country because it is now taking most of the Asian countries because they already realized that bitcoin is a good investment and currency to accept or use. Now, they are just accepting it and implementing to their country and soon it will work the same with your country so just wait and just save bitcoin as much as you can.
7523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: June 22, 2017, 07:33:46 AM
Even without bitcoin, crime has been with the society since the beginning. It just that the criminals found a way for them to commit crimes more convenient by using bitcoin. They are using it as a mode of payments on their criminal services and by selling illegal things and bitcoin is their mode of payment.
How do you know about paying bitcoins for their illegal transactions? Do you know someone who does it for their illegal transactions? Is it really possible today that they can use bitcoin for their illegal doings? I don't think this is right; you give people some ideas to so illegal doings using bitcoins. It will be not a good reputation for bitcoin if it's possible to do.
There is already criminals that are using bitcoin to pay things or services that has been done by illegal process. Bitcoin has anonymity and that is one of the advantage and also disadvantage and it is just depending in the situation like here, it is an disadvantage because a lot of criminals are taking advantage of it to use in transacting illegal things.
7524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cold storage vs Paper wallet on: June 22, 2017, 07:21:47 AM
Which one do you prefer?
I prefer hardware wallet because it is usable in any moment we want but the paper wallet is just only for storing and if you withdraw your coins then you cannot use that paper wallet again while in hardware wallet it is just like the normal wallet (desktop, web wallet and many more..) you just need to connect it to your computer to start transactions without having any security issues.
7525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: June 21, 2017, 11:06:34 AM
I kept it in my wallet

Very simple yet so meaningful yes it is. We kept that in our wallet. Some people are using online wallet for their bitcoins. As for me i used online wallet because of its securities. And i know and i trust it so much. My friends are using electrum an offline wallet they use that because they have said that it is good too. Well its up to you.
Online wallet is not that secured to use and it is more prone to hacking and also if you are using a online wallet like coinbase which you don't have the access to your private keys then it is very risky to store your bitcoin there. I think you should just follow on what your friends doing because electrum offline is a good place to store bitcoins but if you want more securities then hardware wallet is the best for me.
7526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is declining as top crypto currency. Why? on: June 21, 2017, 10:35:19 AM
No, he is talking about bitcoin declining as #1 in the cryptocurrency chart that includes all altcoins as well as bitcoin, so Ethereum, Litecoin, etc.

The reason is basically a lot of hype over altcoins, for example Ethereum and Antshares(dubbed the Chinese ethereum i think for some reason although the ICO actually didn't go all that successfully. Other coins like Lisk have tripled in price, digibyte has also absolutely exploded in price but now is adjusting and price is in freefall at the moment.

It's not bitcoin becoming less popular at all. It's still the first cryptocurrency, no matter what. And this will have a huge impact on people that are trying to get into crypto. They'll alway look at bitcoin before they look at anything else. When this altcoin hype and ICO hype in general dies off, bitcoin dominance will probably go back up to at least 60%.

Then he needs to phrase his question properly. As it stands, none of the crypto in the top 5 according to the "cryptocurrency chart" are in decline. Developments are underway for all, adoption is growing, trade volume and tx #s are up across the board. We're watching almost all proper cryptos do anything but decline.
The point here i think by the OP is just about the ranking. Bitcoin is just declining in ranking because of the hypes of the recent coins like ethereum which it has a great rally on its price because of the ICOs and a lot more that helps the price rally to be stronger and make the price pump so fast.
7527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are transaction delays crashing Bitcoin prices? on: June 21, 2017, 09:54:31 AM
There is possibility that it is, because the transaction delays plus the high fees is a very stressful problem so most of the users now are thinking about transferring from bitcoin to one another to just escape from the problems in bitcoin. If these kind of problems will not resolved anytime soon then the price of bitcoin will just crash to the bottom.
7528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: June 21, 2017, 09:39:53 AM
Although very profitable, but also very risky bitcoin investments, this is because there is no guarantee of any company or agency, so that only appropriate bitcoin market needs.
As long as you know what you are doing then it is not that risky because you know how to manage your money and the risk so you are not prone in losing money. Bitcoin investment is a good investment even though it is not easy to understand for an average person but if that average person will just buy and hold and even though he didn't know what he is doing, he can still make money in long term investment.
7529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 21, 2017, 09:22:41 AM
How I wish I have some to save for the future. I will definitely do it when the time comes. I think the price of bitcoin will constantly rise. It would be a wise investment for the future.

As of now, I am planning to buy some for trading purposes. I think it will be fun trading cryptocurrencies.
If you have a lot of knowledge about bitcoin trading or any cryptocurrency trading then it is good for you to try that because it is very fast to make profits in trading because it is just buying low selling high so if you know how to do it properly then you can easily make money with your bitcoin as a capital in trading.
7530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase hacked!! Eth DOWN, on: June 21, 2017, 09:05:29 AM
If this is true then it will become a lesson for us to not trust online wallets to hold our coins especially if we have a huge amount of ethereum or any kind of cryptocurrency that has a good potential. If you are really concerned to your security then you should stay away from online sites that offers wallet for your coins because they are not safe unless you are the owner of the site.
7531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ? on: June 21, 2017, 08:25:10 AM
Bitcoin is being used widely in porn sites, gambling and drug dealing sectors. Is that why the btc made for ? I have seen a lot of members in this forum discussing about buying drugs, gambling and enjoying porn with bitcoin. Is not it a misuse of a currency ? Block chain tech is a awesome tech and btc is getting popular. I hate these misuses of precious btc. It hurts me. This will lead into unhealthy society along with unhealthy future generation.
For me bitcoin is important, not for using in gambling or porn but as a currency that used for business. Bitcoin can never replace the fiat, but the importance of using bitcoin is very helpful. Bitcoin is not hassle to used in payment transcation. Bitcoin price gives a trill, the price is too high compare to dollar or other currency. Bitcoin can earn online and the supply is depend on investor, investor came from different countries, so it can earn by all people around the world.
Not only because it is currency that can be used in businesses because it is also good for investment for long term because the price of bitcoin now is very high and i think it can be more expensive after a few years so holding it as an asset or investment, depending on your type of view. The only reason to prefer bitcoin over fiat is saving money and after that, i don't see any valid reason to choose bitcoin because it is still just getting started.
7532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: hold your savings in the cloud rather than at a bank. on: June 21, 2017, 08:02:33 AM
It is better to hold our savings in a hardware wallet rather than in the cloud or web wallets because they are not safe and i think we should stay away from the bank also because it is not a smart idea to use it for savings because the only beneficiary of our savings is the bank because they use it to invest into something profitable while we are just getting a very small percentage of their profit for our deposit interests.
7533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to rethink the way we look at 1 BTC value... on: June 21, 2017, 07:47:39 AM
From the start until now, i always look 1 bitcoin as a very high amount of bitcoin and everyone should own it or gonna have that 1 bitcoin because it is like the key in order to gain good amount of wealth in the future but it is not that easy to get that 1 bitcoin in just a months if we don't have good amount of capital it will cost too much time and perspiration to gain that amount which is a very honorable amount to have.
7534  Economy / Economics / Re: Felicia (Sony) Adding Bitcoin Hardware Wallets on: June 21, 2017, 07:34:53 AM
I hope that the Felica Bitcoin Hardware Wallet will be much more affordable than the other hardware wallets, such as Trezor. I badly wanted to purchase one Trezor wallet, but had to give up that idea as it costs around $100. There is no point in purchasing a wallet worth $100 to store $300 worth of coins.
Yeah, i agree with you. It is not wise and smart to just buy and put out $100 from our wallet and just hold around $300 worth of bitcoins. If i were you, i will just use paper wallet because they doesn't cost too much and they are just cost around pennies which is also the same with hardware wallet that are good for cold storage and securing our coins. If this new kind of hardware wallet is affordable then i believe that it will dominate other hardware wallets in terms of sales.
7535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: June 21, 2017, 07:24:51 AM

How do you currently store your coins

The best way to store your crypto is in a hardware wallet. I really recommend the Trezor, I recently got one and the peace of mind it brings is worth every satoshi I paid for it.

You bet, because this is a very safe place where we could store our bitcoin without worrying of it being hack. Hardware wallet is a little bit expensive but it is worth it, hardware wallet is too hard to hack unlike those web wallets out there which is very vulnerable. Blockchain have lost $400 million worth of bitcoin way back 2015(correct me if I'm wrong) because someone hack it, but the hacker was caught by the authority.

But since this hardware wallet is a little expensive that is why people are still using this web wallets because this is just for free, the only thing that they are going to pay is the transaction fee of it.
Well, I haven't tried Trezor, but I would want to have that. I think that's an awesome hardware wallet. I don't know yet if they ship here in my country, but definitely, I think it could be done. In an online exchange, that's definitely a hard thing to do. Web wallets are not recommended especially if you are storing lots of bitcoins.
Trezor is the best hardware wallet for me because it is one very first hardware wallet and it is trusted by a lot of big companies, big name people and also majority of the bitcoin users here in our community. They ship in any part of the world as long as your location is reachable by the shippers that they have.
7536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wtf? Blockchain transaction fees is outrageous!!! on: June 21, 2017, 07:15:03 AM
The fees in bitcoin now is very high and it is advisable to just save or keep our bitcoin in cold storage rather than just using it regularly because the fees is not a joke and it is very expensive compare to the past years. I think that the fees will go down or become lower after the forks so i am just collecting bitcoin and saving it until the fork.
7537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin needs to die on: June 21, 2017, 07:06:05 AM
Why are you here to ask this question. If you are tired just give me your remaining bitcoin and leave us alone and see, as we become billionaires.
Yeah those negative people just need to let us go as well as their bitcoins because in that way they can move on and forget about bitcoin and someday they will get shocked because of the news that bitcoin price is over a hundred thousand dollars and that will make them regret and the only action that they can do to avoid that situation is to not leave bitcoin and work hard to get a lot of bitcoins while it is not that difficult to get and buy.
7538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: June 21, 2017, 06:56:52 AM
If the confirmation of transactions continues to slow down, we all know that increased user bitcoin transactions made slow, this must be serious attention so that if it continues to happen then it could be left out and die.
That is correct, the speed of confirmation in every transaction is the most concern as of now if we based on majority of the user because if we will not experience a fast transactions then we will start to think about using another coin for usage in transactions so we can save time and money at the same time. The crowded network of bitcoin needs improvement so if the network will get improve then it means another years of life for bitcoin.
7539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: June 21, 2017, 06:44:42 AM
Yes of course, this depends on policy of the State, if the State has already legalized bitcoin can be used ordinary citizens, but I'm not sure this could soon happen because the State still hanging with legal money.
Ever since then, the states are hanging or sticking with legal money and which is not a new thing for us. Even though bitcoin is still not legal in a country then they can still use bitcoin as long as it is not declared illegal currency to use. The legalizations is not a problem in bitcoin because it is now starting to happen so we should just wait and appreciate the price.
7540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Money Moving Back into Bitcoin from Alt-Coins on: June 21, 2017, 06:35:16 AM
As the title says, it is true that the most of the investors money are moving back into bitcoin because of the events that are coming and also the good news that we have as of now like the legalization of bitcoin in different countries like Australia and the latest adoption is from India which is one of the country that has big population and it means possibility for a huge demand in the market.
