I make none of these mistakes.
762  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy Valentine's Day to all! on: February 16, 2014, 06:46:46 AM
I hate this day, it doesn't make sense at all.

Same like Christmas. It's a commercial party to keep you trapped in the matrix.
For Christians it is a celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ.

Oh cmon, Jesus wasnt even born on that day. There's no historical documented evidence to support it. The Roman Papacy just drew a lottery and chose a random date to use as another weapon to enslave humanity in the chains of religious dogma.
Your first sentence is correct. Based on historical documents it's estimated that Jesus was born in summer, not in winter.
It is celebrated in winter because of economical reasons and I don't like this either.
But if Jesus' birthday would be celebrated in summer, it would be fairly close to the celebration of his resurrection, so it kind of balances both celebrations.

How 'bout a Linux phone :

Ubuntu Phone

IMHO no use with iOS, Android or Mobile Windows in terms of secure privacy - as they all have numerous backdoors deeply nested in their core OS.
I repeat: After these privacy issues on the desktop OS, you are still thinking about Ubuntu Phone?
765  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Huh? on: February 14, 2014, 06:29:56 PM
Insane, like I said before.

We're not limiting ourselves to only two options for identifying ourselves!  We've gone insane!!!
Exactly.

I still hate this day, it still doesn't make sense at all.

Is this to make it easy for this "community", or is there some sort of agenda here?

Lol what agenda? It's a harmless addition which will improve the quality of life of a (small) proportion of users who feel uncomfortable having to identify as male or female.
Insane, like I said before.
769  Other / Off-topic / Re: Russia, haven't you learnt anything from America besides that other stuff on: February 14, 2014, 11:17:06 AM
And even more western idiocy....
770  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Huh? on: February 14, 2014, 11:15:34 AM
Western civilisation got insane.

I hope my next phone will be a Ubuntu phone, too bad the edge didn't make it.
After these privacy issues on the desktop OS, you still want an Ubuntu Phone?

It's clearly different than my rooted 4.1, but as it is time for an upgrade anyway, I'll do it.

But after reading all those docs, I don't see anything about security....
It's about privacy, not security. Google apps/services could spy on you, because they are proprietary and not open source like most of Android itself.
773  Other / Politics & Society / Re: goodbye iOS. hello Android. :) on: February 13, 2014, 08:46:38 PM
Android is as stupid as iOS in terms of privacy.... You should go with CyanogenMod.

Cyanogenmod IS Android, just with various alterations and additions.
Not exactly.
I have a rooted s3, but can't recall if I used cyanogenmod.  How would you figure out? And why might cyanogenmod be more secure?
You should take a look at this http://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Why_Mod%3F

I switched too about a year ago, Samsung makes way better stuff than Apple in my opinion
I think Samsung uses too many cheap materials. Most parts of their phones are made of plastic.

More western propaganda...

Thatīs it.

You two pieces of human garbage please feel free to move to Russia... if you don't live in that shithole already.
Get back to your pot of gold.

Some people really think calling or mailing their legislators is fighting and furthermore changing anything?
778  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcoin created by establishment to enslave the people on: February 11, 2014, 08:52:29 PM
I don't see why the state would use Bitcoin to enslave the people, when they've already got the vast majority under their spell (even most libertarians, the supposed liberty lovers, still strongly believe in the state and are willing to vote for a libertarian president); if all you've got is speculation and confirmation bias by a few select authors, then I encourage you to do your own thinking.

This thread is just a conspiracy theory from a conspiracy theorist doing what conspiracy theorists do.
+1

780  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Meanwhile in Ukraine... Revolution. on: February 11, 2014, 11:04:05 AM
The government does not want to make concessions, we do not want to leave. The standoff continues.

Meanwhile the economy collapses and millions lose their jobs. No one gains.

I see from your post that you're a bit , a bit too much pro russian.
Most of the persons that protest have nothing to lose , the collapse you're talking about already happened years ago and the way Ukraine is governed , nothing better will come out of it, only worse.
Joining a pro EU protest would not make this any better...
Remember: EU is just a slave of the US.
