Should this wallet work with my existing wallet.dat file?

I've copied it over to the new folder in AppData\Roaming\NavajoAnonBeta but its just showing 10NAB in the beta wallet.

Are there additional steps needed to get my coins across to the new wallet and get it syncing/staking properly? Mine just says "Out of Sync" with no green progress bar like the old wallet, so i dont know if its syncing or what's happening.

Why does it say NAB instead of NAV?

The chat seems to be working well, but the color scheme is quite awful I hate to say.

That gold color is really loud and having that painting thing behind the chat window makes the text a bit hard to read.

That's my 2c so far from a first look.

I love your enthusiasm hashforce01!

However, I think it may not be a great idea to put the Navajo branding onto (what I assume is) unlicensed artwork.

You might end up getting the Nav foundation accidentally sued if the owner sees it.

I too am looking forward to the update from Soopy! Big news today I'm hoping!

We have also prepared an updated blockchain in zip. for Linux Machines:

If there is still the need of a blockchain in zip is evident that the last update has not adjusted much.

In fact, by compiling the last wallet in linux, and making it start from 0 in a natural way (without
downloading the blockchain in zip), the wallet still considers orphans all the blocks over the
number 11491, the first block POS.

Very embarrassing situation, and from what I understand, with regard to this problem, there are
no corrections to the horizon.

Do you have any objection, if I try to make a patch to the code of wallet?

Of course, if I will succeed, then serve the approval of Soopy, if he deems the patch, correct
and functioning on all systems.

If you give me the OK, tomorrow I might give it a look.

Im still having issues with syncing, so I would say go for it to be honest.

Hi everyone, as far as I'm aware this is not the news which Soopy is going to announce, I have some good news for you also!

It's only a small victory, but it's worth celebrating. I have put the holding page of the website live:

http://www.navajocoin.org

When you share it on social media you will get this beautiful post:

As i said, it's a small victory, but it means the hosting is all setup, the DNS is working and the Zend Framework is functioning on the server. When the last items get ticked off the list it should just be a simple file upload to put the site live with all of this initial configuration out of the way.

If the site doesn't load for you, your DNS server may have not updated yet. Either switch your DNS to google's servers (8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4) or simply wait and it should fix itself within 24 hours as the DNS record propagates world wide to all the ISP's servers.

Here's the updated development status of the website.

Completed

  • Domain Name purchased.
  • Hosting purchased.
  • Staging site setup.
  • HTML ported to the Zend Framework to allow for content management.
  • Contact form has been plugged into validation and SMTP sending.
  • Database has been setup.
  • Front end pages have been scripted to render from the database.
  • Admin section has been created.
  • Admin user management added.
  • Content management has been implemented for 6 out of 7 of the site's pages including:

    • text block management
    • list management
    • link management
    • slide show management
    • project timeline management
    • foundation member profile management
    • contact form management

It looks like we're in for 2 pieces of good news for the community in one day! Who knew it was possible! I'm looking forward to your announcement Soopy!

I don't believe that devs don't see a huge problem, right now we have DEAD market, noone is interesting in dealing with navajo, every popular coin has ups and downs but at least it has some volume. For now you're only giving us empty words, well almost since begining.
You might say that it's not some pump & dump project, value will increase slowly, but right now it looks like typical pump & dump project in the last stage...sadly.

No roadmap, no ETA (even something like: in a week, in a two weeks and it simply means that you've got nothing because right now every PR guy would tell you that you're making huge mistake with not telling anything)

I'm holding but just because even if it goes to 0 satoshi I will be still on profit which I made before the whole mess with wallet and stolen coins.

I think the reason the market is so quiet is because everyone who is interested has already snapped up their stash and are just staking bag holders.

More news will stimulate new investors and convince some of the bag holders to start trading again.

Guys, in regards to the website, I've been hard at work taking hdpixel's HTML layouts and building them into a functioning website which can be content managed.

So far the completed list is as follows:

  • Domain Name purchased.
  • Hosting purchased.
  • Staging site setup.
  • HTML ported to the Zend Framework to allow for content management.
  • Contact form has been plugged into validation and SMTP sending.
  • Database has been setup.
  • Front end pages have been scripted to render from the database.
  • Admin section has been created.
  • Admin user management added.
  • Content management has been implemented for 6 out of 7 of the site's pages including:

    • text block management
    • list management
    • link management
    • slide show management
    • project timeline management
    • foundation member profile management
    • contact form management

Next steps:

  • Set up a holding page on live URL
  • Make the final page (wallets) content managed so it can be updated via the admin section
  • Make the foundation member profile images managed rather than static
  • Finalize the project timeline
  • Launch the live site

As you can see, a lot has been done and there's not really very much left to do on the site. I am working on this as much as I can but i do have a full time job and am also in the middle of a big paid freelance job which also has deadlines I need to meet outside of office hours.

I am working to achieve these next steps and if you like I can come back here and update the completed list as I mark them off.

Website incoming soon!

ps. feel free to make donations to my NAV wallet to help my motivation  Grin

Definitely buy up now guys. The price is crazy low.

It dipped to 295 last night and I managed to pick up another big bag on the cheap.

500k staking now. This coin is going to be BIG!

I've done all those installation steps.

I guess I'll just leave the wallet open for a few days and see if it comes right after a while.

Cheers

Is everyone's wallets staking properly? When I open my wallet, it syncs up, then starts staking, but after a while it gets out of sync and never syncs back up again without restarting the wallet client. This means that all my staking during the out of sync period is not collected. Really frustrating.. I've staked for about a week now and only managed to mine 100 coins or so since it keeps getting stuck out of sync. Any ideas appreciated.
Please check if You have the newest, updated client. Also please check Your message box.
Thank You Wink

I have the latest client as far as I'm aware. It's the 2nd on that Soopy released. It says v2.0.0.0-UT-ZAH in the about section.

I seem to get a couple hours worth of "Accepted" mined transactions directly after loading up the wallet, then everything after that is labelled "Generated but not Accepted" while my wallet starts to slip more and more blocks out of sync.

I was using the default conf file, I've just updated this to have all the extra nodes.

I'm laughing at whoever has the order for 265 million NAV on bittrex. There aren't even that many coins!

I'm getting pretty tired of haemorrhaging money.

I am a Senior Web Developer with 5+ years experience. If the foundation needs any help getting the website online, I'm more than happy to help setting up an Apache server, DNS, FTP, Databases etc.. PM me if you're stuck.

The question most likely in all ours minds is do we invest more on NAV at this time while markets are a all time low

Sell due to Double Spend past issue due to the market looseing trust but a fix has been applied

or

wait for annon -hold in our wallets and stake - and then benifit when the market goes crazy for annon

becoming a foundation member sounds very intertesting

what you thing
no fuding please

I am keeping half staking and half on market just in case of crazy pump Smiley
that's how I do it too
Why do you do this? How long does it take to stop an amount of coins staking and get them onto an exchange?
780  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Navajo [NAV]- The Unbreakable Code [PoS/Anonymity/Privacy] on: July 20, 2014, 10:30:04 PM
All i see on bittrex is people pumping the price up with tiny buys, then dumping large amounts down to 700 sats. Not encouraging behaviour.

Just sayin'
