I assume thats really a good move after you sold at the latest ATH of btc and immediately bought alts like UNI,Dot, Link or Doge if you invest on this altcoins then man you nailed it thats awesome profit those altcoins are really hot right now and continue to rally while btc still in sideways I hope you already take your profit and wait for another btc dip then reenter.

The past week I remember that I used this exchange few years ago to exchange my tokens and when I login I still have a btc worth approximately $40+ I did not waste any moment as I always read about this kind of accusations to them I decided to immediately exchange it to eos and withdraw to my Binance account good thing the transaction went smooth maybe its just a small amount I might experience also like OP if I withdraw huge amount..better to stay away on this exchange as much as possible.

Are you talking about worldwide outage of internet connection? If this happens then its a very big problem not only in banking sector but to almost every business running since most of them today uses internet to connect to banks, clients/customers even in just an hour of no internet connection huge money will be lost into big businesses what if it last in a few days? The price of eth always in relation with btc price so if btc price increase eth will also increase and vice versa Im seldom saw eth price that moves in different direction and if this happens some investors will most likely jump into eth because of FOMO like in past histories in bull run  eth always follow btc so If I were you OP I will just divide my invest into eth and btc.

How nice this project is going on I just browsing lately on gecko and I noticed AAVE and I remember its the new ethlend which fortunately I got some LEND tokens last March 2018 from eidoo airdrop in my app and I never expect its worth $200 now tried to migrate from lend to aave but the fees is kinda huge $20 insane I ended up in Uniswap instead of migrating my tokens to aave.
