Nice update!
762  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: August 09, 2013, 12:07:33 PM
Until I see where the 3 million shares are, I consider this a scam. Why aren't you showing us your portfolios?

There's no way to sell 3 million shares any time soon, so I'm not super concerned at this point.

Having said that, this seems like a very simple issue to resolve.  Send the account info to Burnside ASAP.

Volume without IPO funds = 11472.7 BTC

I am not saying they sold all 3 M. My guess is 25% or 750 000 shares.

Yes, I also guess is already sold 25%!!

That would mean no major other trades were made.

Why is that?

766  Economy / Trading Discussion / Don't forget about bitcoin-24.com and Simon Hausdorf on: August 07, 2013, 07:04:46 PM
So basically the title says it all. I got into bitcoins several months ago and started using bitcoin-24.com. All of a sudden the exchange was taken down and all my funds are frozen there.

Simon Hausdorf (the owner of the exchange) hired some pretty good lawyers that calmed all the customers down. I am starting this thread so people don't forget about this SCAM and start taking legal actions against Simon Hausdorf. I was a supporter of Simon until now, but after his lawyers latest statement I AM MAD.

It basically says "Nobody will receive their money back in the foreseeable future. Oh and btw dont wait for any updates."

It has been almost 5 months now.

Enough is enough.

I just lost almost BTC2 because of this. Damn.

Did somebody force you to sell your shares for lower than you purchased them for?

I'm glad all these shares are getting dumped. Hopefully, they'll get bought up by people in it for the long game and not be put back up for sale.

After I sold all my shares at 0.3 couldn't resist now and started buying again.  Grin

Now is the time to get in.

I kind of agree, I called .0015 as a fair and I still stand by that.
Everything below sounds like a good deal in the short term.

+1

I think people forgot how hard it was to get shares from the IPO.

Upping ante again to .65btc to whomever can help fix this problem. Seems like I'm going to have to give away every satoshi in the wallet to get it fixed but if it can help everyone else who has this problem then I don't mind paying for it.

The only way to "fix" this if support fixes it for you, or you brute force the wallet password.

I am interested in the last sentence:

This contains zero interesting information:

"Shareholders who really do not want to follow the english thread, please wait for the to be opened dedicated board. you'll get a password for that board via email."

To summarize, he was just saying:
He'll do updates here rather than over there, and asked not to start new threads regarding IPO there.
there will be a dedicated board on btcman.com for Chinese shareholders.

Thanks. I was wondering why the Chinese thread is stuck at 20 pages.

1请不要在咱们论坛开新帖讨论IPO的事,

774  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Error message "Error Response Invalid signature" on blockchain.info android app on: August 05, 2013, 02:34:39 PM
Of course an easier way would be to import your backup of the wallet into MultiBit (it is sent to the email you provided)

https://multibit.org

Edit: If you accidentally deleted the email with the attached .dat file - generate a new receiving address on your phone and you will be sent a new backup of wallet.dat

Thanks for trying but I already did all of this and none of it worked. Both blockchain's website and multibit are telling me to enter a password which is apparently not the pin code I used with Blockhain's app on my phone so I don't know what it's supposed to be. I don't remember needing a password when setting up the app, only the pin code. I'm waiting on a response from support. If I ever get the coins back I'll still give you something since you made the effort to try.

If anyone knows a solution, the .25btc is still on the table.

I'm upping the ante since I still haven't been able to figure this out, nor have I received a response from the developers... .5btc to whomever can help me get this to function properly. I can't send anyone anything until I can get the btc out of this wallet.

Are you sure you didn't enter any password when creating the wallet on your phone? If so, there should be no problem using your wallet with multibit.

If you chose the "Backup wallet" option from the app, do you get the popup about "Your encrypted wallet..."

High IPO price + increase in btc/usd price + stagnant company = no chance of those 2 million shares (that are guaranteed to be coming sometime, without notice) being able to be sold above .016, unless something drastically changes.

This is not a quick flip type of stock and never was.  This stock is for those wanting a long position as BTCGARDEN won't be hashing for a while yet.  It's pointless to make statements like yours as those points have been obvious from the moment the IPO was announced.

Your options are:
  1) Take a Xanax and think about the juicy dividends/share price in a couple months.
  2) Sell, and save us future posts like the one above.
I've never thought of it as a quick flip, certainly didn't mean to come across that way. However, those are very real concerns no matter your position. What is their strategy when this becomes a bridge we must cross?

Also, i'm a bit blunt and honest, too much so for the average person at times. I am just bringing up my actual concerns, and not trying to shit on this company. I'm a shareholder (~3000), if it matters.

Worst kind or shareholder. Sell before you get a heart attack.
You're an idiot.

Give us some life signs. Did you sell before the wall was eaten as advised?

This seems pretty richly valued for an IPO after sucking up 32,000BTCs on btct.co in short order...then there's another 2,000,000 shares coming at higher prices? That's 6x the daily average on btct.co already poured into the garden in just over a day. I'm not seeing much room for further upside at this point, but good luck fellas.

The panic such comments could trigger  Grin

2 M additional shares may not come for several more months. Will only be issued after a milestone and at a higher price.

Edit: Trying to get some btc back to basic-mining  Grin ?

Interesting take. I think you give my words a bit too much weight if you believe a simple sentence from me has any chance of knocking this 32k company's share price down, but ty for stroking my ego. Smiley

I'm a cryptocurrency investor and have been for far longer than I've been managing any companies. Like many others I'm reviewing this company's potential and making my own decisions on if/when/and how much to invest.

That seems new. That's a wise decision by management IMO.

I can easily see price dropping 30% or even 50% after more such statements from long-time board members. Which can be kind of healthy?
