7661  Economy / Reputation / Re: 666 merit :) on: April 03, 2019, 12:38:52 AM
I wouldn't be surprised if someone actually makes a post regarding this as 'illegitimate' trade of merits lol

I have seen worst examples, they fail to realize at some stage in the forum, those merit means nothing to the reciever especially when you're a legendary users.
7662  Other / Meta / Re: Scam Accusation board or merit stealing zone? Comment on the system on: April 02, 2019, 08:07:34 PM
If any DT Member is not interested in genuinely making this community BETTER and only have time in leaving blind feedback, then I am sorry to tell you he/she doesn't DESERVE the right to be a DT Member.

All those elected as DT members have all earned it. The new DT system have made it possible to elect new DT members or removed them from DT by detrusting them. You can review their previous contributions to the forum they have all paid their dues although as humans there could be some flaw & few mistakes but they're doing a good job. Just appeal your case reasonably. A little bit of advice to you, don't forget they're all humans insulting or attacking them won't resolve your tag instead it can get you more negative red tags. Present your case with some reasonable point on Reputation board and hopefully you get untagged and if you don't then take it as a lesson learnt and always reference source of copied works no matter how irrelevant you think they are, it makes you look more professional.
7663  Other / Meta / Re: Is this system working right? on: April 02, 2019, 06:33:33 PM
The thread accusing me was created and within following hours, I had a "NEGATIVE" feedback. Even a murdered get opportunity to response/reply before pushing them into guilty zone, but here with my case I did not even had THAT OPPORTUNITY. The moment the thread was created, my fate was sealed as SCAMMER/CHEATER/FRAUD.

You have to understand how the system works, those feedbacks can be deleted whenever those that left it finds you innocent, they are left their to prevent any potential scammers as cases such as plagiarism from ICO projects are handled with seriousness as it can lead to lost of fund. Go to the thread you have been accused in and if you can convince DT members there, your negative feedback would be lifted (deleted) but for now they serve as a warning as you have an accusation on your ICO project.

BTW BESTMIXER.IO // BEST BITCOIN MIXER seems to be a very popular name, everyone who are handling that section got that Signature only...... Interesting....

That's what you get when you choose the right campaign manager to mange your project and he picks the best (quality contributing) candidates to promote the project with decent pay rate.
7664  Other / Meta / Re: Is this system working right? on: April 02, 2019, 06:02:58 PM
Learn to leave reference, if you copied something from another's site make sure you indicate that in your article, post or whatever you're writing if not it'll be considered plagiarism. The problem with your whitepaper was that you copied texts without giving the original creators of those content some credit (link to source/reference).

Regarding if the system is working right, for now it isn't perfect but it has been keepings us safe, helping us identify the scammers and potential scammers since its introduction therefore we can consider the system working right.
7665  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bounties(bitcoin paying bounties ) offers more than just payment on: April 02, 2019, 11:17:45 AM
When writing on signature campaign and it involves bitcoin don't use bounty it's kinda disrespectful 😁, just say Paid signature campaign or Bitcoin signature campaign those who know what you're talking about will understand don't add "bounty" leave the bounty for altcoin related campaigns.

Quote
I would point out few factors and compare between bounties advertised here and bounties outside the forum

You mean like social media bounties? Sounds funny you trying to compare those with (BTC) paid signature campaign. That's too inferior sorry if I missed something in you post (because I just skimmed through the post).

7667  Other / Meta / Re: Does anyone here make a living off the forums? on: April 02, 2019, 09:59:54 AM
I have always wondered how much signature campaign managers earn in a good month. I am talking about bitcoin campaigns and the Top 3 managers that are easily found by just opening the Services section. I doubt they will tell us though  Grin

You won't get the answer just by asking them, use this trick contact the project/company they're managing a campaign for and act like you have a project you want the same manager to manage and ask for a price range luckily you'll get a response. In my quest to search for what other altcoin signature campaign managers are  charging I did the same and got an idea of what to charge with few discounts.

You can try asking them directly though like an inquiry and hopefully they'll respond. BTW based on my research (Altcoin though) managers charge differently based on duration of the campaign.
7668  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Avoid complacency adhere to guides lines on: April 02, 2019, 06:52:58 AM
Many newbie are found of calming to be self expert and try as much as possible to improvise and input there own method Into things when there are already laid down guildlines.

They learn the hard way though (through self experience). People perfer looking for shortcuts to simply laid down rules. Using your example, Instead of writing down or printing their recovery or private key and storing it somewhere safe, they prefer screenshots why, because it's easier. And in regards to ICO their greediness is the cause of them falling prey to scammers. Also some of them feel ashamed of asking questions as the environment have also contributed in making newbies look stupid so they prefer to be self thought as a result learning the hard way.
7669  Other / Meta / Re: Feature Requests on: April 02, 2019, 06:06:34 AM
From what I can understand from your request list they're mainly related to issue that'll make signature managing less time consuming and easier, benefiting mostly signature mangers and not the forum in general so don't think theymos will have much interest in implementing them as he doesn't have much interest in signature and of recent disactivated  animated avatar. anyway good luck with you request. I'll love to see some of them implemented.

I have much interest in seeing this one implemented;

When browsing through someones posts I'd like it if there was a sorting feature so that I could select a specific board and see all the posts the user has made on that board.

Aa it'll not only benefit signature mangers but might benefit spam hunters too as in regards to searching through specific boards for abusers
7670  Other / Meta / Re: Does anyone here make a living off the forums? on: April 02, 2019, 04:51:40 AM
I personally, do what ever I'm doing on forum be it participating in signature, rendering my services or learning etc as part time as I have a full time job that take most of my time but it doesn't pay that much. If I was to stick only to my "real job" I will be earning ~ $82 monthly but in just 2weeks of paid signature campaign I got that covered.  No doubt the forum is offering a lot of help to it's members as they can leverage on the numerous opportunity to earn legitimately on the forum. Of recent i just picked interest in Signature Bounty Management and hopefully when i gain a lot of experience I'll concentrate just on managing Paid bitcoin campaign although those aren't my main reason on forum but I can quit my said "real job" and dedicate my time fully to offering services on the forum.  We shouldn't rely on forum anyway as that wasn't the main purpose of creation that's why I do a little bit of trading off forum too.
7671  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why Bounty Hunters Should Be Exempted from KYC/AML Procedures on: April 02, 2019, 04:24:40 AM
The discussion can be seen in two ways, firstly when it comes to cheating, the project have no choice than to implement KYC to prevent that from happening and if you consider this from the point of a bounty participation, he's just like someone you hire to carryout a job for you and should be paid whether or not he does your KYC.

In conclusion KYC isn't that bad but I have an issue with projects that doesn't require kyc at first just to decieve participants and later require hunters passing kyc just to avoid paying users that don't pass them.
7672  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips in Trading on: April 02, 2019, 04:10:37 AM
You don't go around writing you opinions as trading tips, what are your qualifications to give this advice? And what are the guarantee you'll be held responsibility in case if lost of fund are experience buy users who try to practice the said tips above. As this is just your opinion maybe clarifying that in OP will be great because there are numerous newbie visiting this forum daily just to seek financial advice (not recommended though) so informing then this isn't one but just your opinion but if it's a financial advice, what are your qualifications?.
7673  Economy / Reputation / Re: People abusing feedback on: April 01, 2019, 09:48:09 PM
It wasn't the intention of theymos for feedbacks to work that way (based on your description) but again the users of this forum are mostly humans from different backgrounds therefore their judgements can't be the same. feedbacks from the turst system are technically decentralized only the user that Left the feedback can delete except on special cases then theymos can step in to override those feedbacks.
If you ever get out of this situation you find yourself, take some break and let the big boys pay with the trust system that way you keep your account safe from haters to attacks via negative feedbacks from few mistakes you will make as a human. Even though those feedbacks aren't necessary.

As for me I just customize my trust list and let the scam busters do their job while i enjoy the forum. That's all I'm here for.
7674  Other / Meta / Re: Is April 1st a free day to abuse the merit system? on: April 01, 2019, 06:58:55 PM
But on a side note, few merit source also complain the scarce of new good posts.

Most times the reason for this statement is because they aren't searching in the right boards or maybe they don't feel like meriting posts that has already received merits. Simple solution, they should merit the previous posts they merited or increase their merit sending number.

We can't denial the fact sources are congested on particular boards meanwhile neglecting other boards  although on general note, they're doing a good job.
7675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: KYC is now required! In order to continue using the forum why this KYC ? on: April 01, 2019, 05:58:16 PM
It's an April fool joke. Any newly started post you see on meta today, don't take it too serious. Every year today been April 1st theymos brings in some fun into the forum by carry-out some pranks. This year's own was the kyc you're seeing many users falling victim to as they're uploading their real picture on the Advance verification Thread. Looking through the information required for the KYC verification you are supposed to have a guess the whole thing is just a joke.
7676  Other / Meta / Is April 1st a free day to abuse the merit system? on: April 01, 2019, 01:24:35 PM
Looking at the recently sent merit stats you'll be amazed at the number of merits be circulated. I was wonderful if this won't backfire since merit traders can take advantage of this day in trading merits between accounts as I notice most post been merited are either funny or just creative ones in other cases worthless posts and those traders can use this as a perfect cover.

Also I thought we have been complaining of merit been scarce for sometime now, where are all these merit now coming from. Don't you think we're taking this 1st April of a thing too far 😁
7677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers will go after IEO soon on: April 01, 2019, 12:43:06 PM
invest only in IEOs that are launched on popular exchanges

Although doing so as suggested above is safer but not 100% secured, we have well established scam example is bitcoincash. This type of project can buy their way into any exchange just as Bitconnect did. You have to take your security into your own hands and invest in only projects you have well research on even though they were suggested to you by other members or the so called crypto experts all over YouTube and Twitter.
7678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One year achievement (newbie should read to learn how you have to build yourself on: April 01, 2019, 09:34:37 AM
From the first time you made a comment on my post and gain my attention I have alway wish i could achieve half of your success. I remember you saying your merit was bigger then your activity that got me thinking because then I hard just 10merits (airdroped) with close to 200+ activity. Your merited posts, r1s2g3 and S_Therapist's were one of the many post I read and saw how contributive they were. You're an inspiration and I have always looked up to you. Congrats Coolcryptovator I'm a fan and hope to achieve your success someday. Well deserved achievements.

7680  Other / Meta / Re: 50 Merits for bounty threads. on: March 31, 2019, 10:54:17 AM
Maybe theymos will now consider what we have been saying all this while, all airdrop smerit should be burned, majority of merit abuse involving large number of merits is coming from this guys that received those free airdropped smerit. The issue of bounty managers receiving huge sum of smerits on announcement thread or worthless posts is becoming too much. Could be, merit traders have found a new way to fool the forum.
