When does this start?
It has already started! Go eat McDonald's, dig through the trash, bother friends, rob homeless people (joking about this one... don't do that) or whatever else you need to do! Hey, it's dinner time! I think I'll head over and see if I can't win some monopoly Bitcoins

what? alien lizards rule us? where did they get that statement? how could aliens rule us? how they do it? perhaps they just imagine something doesn't make any sense or they just don't read their religion book
They rule via the television. You're probably controlled by them yet you don't quite realize it.

That's for the advice I am in the UK yes So how easy/hard is it to add more circuits? Sara x I don't know much more about the UK. I think 80 Amps is a standard home service and your kitchen probably has sockets to allow for toaster/kettle/microwave and it is probably already on a ring main with a 30amp breaker. Any of the sockets for those devices you could use for an Antminer S7 and the circuit should easily handle 3 of those (with power to spare) but if you also run your toasted, microwave and kettle, you will trip the breaker. You have to install sockets where you want to plug in the devices, run wire through the walls and connect to a breaker in the Consumer unit. Connecting the breaker to the unit is easy if you have space for it but running the wire and connecting the sockets must be done properly and inspected. My advice would be to call an electrician and ask if he could give you a free quote for a separate circuit for your Antminers. Post an image of your consumer unit and we'll be able to tell if you can add a circuit.

If you live in North America you can safely put one S7 per circuit. Note that a circuit may (more likely will) contain more than one socket and or load. The same goes for Europe for the most part. There are 16amp 220V circuits in Europe that could handle two s7s but if you don't know, don't try it. If you trip the breaker, you've overloaded the circuit. It's not so dangerous to do that unless you persist. If you continue to reset the breaker and try to run your device you may cause thermal overload which could result in fire.

Just wanted to share a funny scam attempt. I was trying to sell my knife (Karambit UV MW), and someone added me straight away. He said he wanted to pay on real money. I said I only accepted bitcoin, and he said okay. He quickly rushed into which escrow I was going to use. But I kept persisting with the question of "Can you give me your bitcoin address so I know you actually have the money?" He finally listened to me, and said he had exactly $20 in good wallet, and have me the address 1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX.
I checked it straight away, and found out the address was a wikileaks address It turns out when you search up "bitcoin address", the wikileaks donation address is the first thing that comes up. What a joke. i never think to try scamming people, and i dont mind how that people try to scamming with silly way,its a joke. but i'm sure people who dont know about address checker will trapped by scammer like him, this thread should give us warning. First I would like to thank you for never trying to scam people but your post dredges up old questions in my mind that have never been resolved. How are you going to be trapped by using an escrow of your choice? IS google the address checker to which you are referring? It's really a bad one if so because 1F1tAaz5x1HUXrCNLbtMDqcw6o5GNn4xqX is NOT a wikileaks address. If OP had been fooled by this superlative scam, how would it have taken place? Would the escrow of his choice actually somehow be in on the ruse? Is google also in on it? I don't get it.

So why not post this somewhere in the Altcoin section then?
|
|

Did you do a search for "activity"? Sometimes I wonder if people aren't posting simply to increase their post count for a sig campaign. Your answer is here but you might have to do a little bit of reading.

Is this the teacher guide or a student copy?

Yes it would work fine since you aren't transfering much data on the pc I bus. The work is done on the card. Please move this thread to the Altcoin mining section though.

Good morning...please direct all GoCoin support concerns to support@gocoin.comMost likely the reason you have not received a payout is because GoCoin is waiting for your KYC / AML documentation or you have not reached the payout threshold. I'm happy to discuss one-on-one the reasons for our international structure and why we manage payouts as we do, but it would not be appropriate to do so on a public forum. Been lurking Steve? It's funny (strange) that you want to KYC op but you don't want him to know who you are... publicly at least. I don't really care about the international structure of your company but I really am interested in that creepy pic of Brock. Why?!

I'm not sure what's going on but anytime I try to do a split key vanity gen lately I get an error saying this: -snip- -v -P -i 1addy 0413861F7353C032303D93A5574AA3872B73C79FC68D92BA8C891EB0926DEBC1 6DEBBD000E121B3CA9684B8C2C4FB2DCCD16D3F1E58D3597AF23F693DB894B2C35 Invalid base pubkey I've done this 100x before and never had an issue. If I just try to generate an address it works fine. It's only when I try to generate a split key it doesn't work for me anymore. I thought maybe the case insensitivity or the verbose output was causing the issue but taking them out doesn't help the situation either. What happened?! Lol. Like I said, I've done this 100x before and never had an issue. I've generated a lot of new addresses thinking the first one I tried must have had a problem but to no avail... You simply need to put the part public key directly after the -P switch. edit - You should probably put the addy at the end too ie. -v -i -P 0413861F7353C032303D93A5574AA3872B73C79FC68D92BA8C891EB0926DEBC16DEBBD000E121B3CA9684B8C2C4FB2DCCD16D3F1E58D3597AF23F693DB894B2C35 1addy

if you have if you have free electricity and 10k cash how much you will invest in bitcoin mining and when ?? right now or later and why
Lol... everyone is going to attack me after reading my post. If I am having 10K in cash, I am going to buy coins from a trusted exchange using that cash rather than going for mining. Mining is time consuming, and takes a lot of effort. It is not meant for lazy people like me. BTW... if I purchase mining rigs using all that money, there is no guarantee that I will be getting a ROI. Newer and more efficient versions of mining rigs are being marketed every now and then. Even if I purchase the most efficient one available in the market right now, after two or three months it will be obsolete. Don't worry about being attacked for your posts. Nobody reads posts anymore, they just read the OP. Case in point; I was not attacked for my postYou didn't read it did you? <--- oh man that's almost an attack

Tell me, does the address generation is subject to a difficulty that depends of the competition going on in the area like the Bitcoin network is ?
Within the context of this discussion thread it is quite similar. The more hashing power you have at your disposal to find an address the faster you will find it hence the more difficult it will be to enter the Rare Address Hall of Fame. We're not looking for bitcoins here though; we are looking for rare addresses.

It appears from section 5.2 of the TOS that all the money first becomes theirs and then they figure it out later.
