LOL well clearly there's no mining going on and something else is at work here. I don't know that Ponzi is the right word or that we need to be calling everyone retarded but people damn sure should be asking questions and looking at their investments. I mean seriously. It's a "cloud mining" site that has not only absurd profits from mining but referral bonuses that don't require anything other than a new email address. And rewards drop as mining conditions become more favorable? Does anyone remember Hashlets? How they were "definitely absolutely most definitely mining." Except, well, you know... they weren't.
No to mention, the only means of communication or getting info about the site are when the infamous "admin" comes into the site chat for brief interludes every so often to reassure everyone. I mean, I hope this sounds absurd to anyone reading this but you never know.

...and the wheels come off the bus. The almighty "admin" has been absent for days. The site's constantly "overloaded" right in line with huge sell walls that drop the price. Aside from the fact that this magic 850 Gh/s can't be accounted for on any coin networks, over the past few days while LTC/BTC remains high and LTC mining difficulty falls, the "mining rewards" at Scrypt.cc manage to take a slow decline. Classic signs: no evidence of mining, no pool or block stats, referral bonus paid to affiliates... Not saying people aren't making money but really what do y'all think this is?

To be quite frank with you guys, nobody ever said i lost a lot on xpy, in fact i got out early, scored a chargeback on my phoneystaker and am laughing all the way to the bank. And it's only a ponzi if you don't know how to play the game. I know scrypt will just "disappear" one day but until then i'm enjoying my 8 btc per month it has been paying (with a minor hiccup for a week with that power story, i honestly thought it was gone then). I meant that more along the lines of: 1. SN keeps his identity private as he/she/they obviously want. 2. I'm of the opinion that not knowing the identity keeps all those coins in check, so to speak - Do we really want Satoshi to cash out or leave his fortune to some kid or something, I mean that could happen anyhow, but the chances seem slimmer right now. Of course, your scenario would be really cool for all in some ways, obviously it would lend a bit more legitimacy for skeptics etc, but again, what would be the primary benefit to all, or even Bitcoin itself, other than "Just knowing"? What about all those old coins/keys sitting on the chain? Who gets them? Are the private keys gone? Are they going to be cashing them out? This is where even more uncertainty comes in, so that's why I said "everyone". In hindsight, I suppose I should have said " stays that way for now". sorry I replied too fast and missed this: Maybe he describes the inspiration process, creation and deployment events, why he walked away, and why so many early Bitcoins are unspent.
