I agree to the title of this topic, bitcoin is a good investment but not a global currency because a lot of countries in the world is still not using bitcoin or using it as a currency and some of them banned bitcoin already so it is nearly impossible for bitcoin to be legit global currency unless all of the countries will accept bitcoin.

Yeah I agree, the alts have the power to come over the Bitcoin. I think there is no such difference in the Bitcoin and the alts; the only thing that makes it different is that the bitcoin is the pioneer it came first and the alts have copied it. If the alts facilitate the users better than the Bitcoin they may be more successful. If the other altcoins have a better features and better plans for usage then it can over come bitcoin because it is not about the price because i believe that it is about the capability of the altcoin and how we can use it as a cryptocurrency. At the moment I can't realy save the bitcoins but I'm trying to change that and from my perspective saving is for the need, for the future not for fun. Fun is spending bitcoins.  If the price continues to go that way bitcoin savings have the nice future. I also save my bitcoin for the future. How not very potential future bitcoin I do not want to miss it. So I keep some bitcoins to store until the future I agree with the ever increasing in price of bitcoin, we should be serious about saving it for our future. I save bitcoin not for fun because it would be a waste of opportunity if I save it for fun and spend it on entertaining myself on different things that is not important. Yeah people using the Bitcoin should consider it a serious asset for the future as it is slowly and gradually converting to an asset rather that to be used as a digital currency. It does not really matter why the price of Bitcoin increases because I kind of just spend the coins right when I receive it. I don’t like to speculate so much on the price because the rate of it could change in an instant and the price of Bitcoin could get lower that what 97% of the people guess it would be. As an average user too, we can't help other users to confirm their transaction because we are not miners and the miners only confirms the transactions, the only thing that we can do is to help other user to prevent their transaction to get stuck by telling them to pay the right amount of recommended fees so they can get a faster and average speed of transaction, i think that is what we can only do. |

It seems that japan is loving bitcoin and they are all having a good income with bitcoin and they are starting to fully implement bitcoin to their country and their airlines already accepting bitcoin. the only difference i see is, real money is more centralized than BTC and its all instamine You cannot mine real money because they are created by the government but i agree with you that the only difference that you see is being centralized of real money because that is what government wants, they want a controllable money and that is the real money while bitcoin is decentralized so they hate it because they didn't have any control of it and it will prevent corruption which is bad for other officials. |
