Naaah, Bitcointalk is the alpha and omega of crypto related forums, nothing comes close to it and I doubt it ever will. There are some decent alternatives, some of them are dead or barely breathing and the others are trying to lure in their user-base with looser rules, but no way they will manage to dethrone Bitcointalk. This Moonforum is visually quite pleasing, it radiates a more modern vibe, but its more of a style over substance ordeal.

Well of course you have to be extremely selective, otherwise your starting capital would vanish rapidly. Last year it was enough to do some research on the team of the project and their token metrics, their idea etc. and you could make nice returns, but this year a lot depends also on the demand for the project, the previous mentioned factors are not enough.

Damn, I bet that quite a large number of folks got burned with this. I remember even some (prominent) crypto Youtubers plugging Crowd Machine (I give you one guess who....yep, the one and the only, Suppo ) and providing them more exposure/victims. Definitely a bummer.  

Impossible to know. I see people predicting start of the bull trend every week but their prognosis has no backbone. Nonetheless, it is for sure always a pleasure for the eyes to see double digit green numbers next to your holdings.

From a technical aspect probably, as they are the owners of a certain amount of currency. But not from the aspect of loyalty or longevity as most of them are in it just for the short term and not for the "right" reasons aka actually believing in the project.

A bizzaro world. I mean props to people holding Ripple, I am not envious but seriously, from all the promising currencies in the top 20, the shittiest one is soaring like crazy. Fingers crossed other strong alts will follow its path.

We shall see how the ICO scene will react to potential stricter regulations in the (near) future. If these will be too unreasonable, I am sure new loopholes will be discovered and exploited, so I am not that worried how things will play out.

Replacement of BTC as a payment option? I would definitely vote for Nano if in some weird circumstance BTC indeed falls (we all know it wont). But there are some other lightning fast alternatives so we should be good in any case.

I have only positive things to say about Pasha & Co. Super helpful, reasonable and informative even when contacting him/them via PM/DM.

Right now nothing special is on the horizon imo, NEX was the last "not to be missed" one, even if some people started to doubt its qualities (predominantly because of the constant moving of its ICO date). But if I have to mention one, it would probably be ChromaWay.

Lets bite again. I am still a big fan of Aion, Open Platform and NEX, not sure anymore about Cindicator as it seems it is in a stagnation mode, but I am adding the 0chain on the list. It has been dumping like crazy since its listing on exchanges, but imo it definitely has a monumental potential in the long run.
