781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why bitcoin won't last long (which are you afraid of?) on: June 12, 2018, 02:01:02 PM
Well i don't see such reasons as a real threat to bitcoin existence. But what i fear about is the invention of Quantum computers which would be able to read private keys of a bitcoin wallet using its public key itself.
782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Whales are playing a dangerous game on: June 09, 2018, 10:41:37 AM
The SEC has no jurisdiction in other countries and it is difficult to prove it in any way, because these whales are not working alone. So do not get your hopes up that any SEC investigation is going to stop any of the price manipulation that is going on globally.  Roll Eyes

All markets have their whales that are influencing commodity prices, so we should just accept that and continue with the experiment.  Wink
Absolutely.Bitcoin is traded internationally and i don't think that SEC would be able to effectively control all trades carried out worldwide. If the big whales use exchanges like Hitbtc which don't follow KYC,then it would not be possible.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to use 0.5% of world’s electricity by end of 2018 on: June 08, 2018, 11:03:38 PM
That would not be an issue if the used electricity gets replaced or produced by green power.

Bitcoin consuming more electricity is an allegation often used by critics and they would not even speak about other firms consuming huge electricity.
784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: CAN BLOCKCHAIN HELP AFRICA CLOSE DEVELOPMENTAL GAP WITH WEST ? on: June 08, 2018, 06:00:43 PM
It's true that Africa would develop much using the block chain technology, but still it would not be enough to fill the gap with western countries.
785  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran bans banks from using cryptocurrencies on: June 08, 2018, 02:19:34 PM
As far as Iran is concerned,it seems to be surprising as earlier Iran was discussing to use bitcoin as secondary currency in order to boycott US sanctions and now,it has now taken a decision totally contrast.
786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the “Last Thing I’d Want to Own” if Grid Goes Down: Short Seller on: June 08, 2018, 02:15:22 PM
Bitcoin is far better than fiat currency which is subject to deflation.More over, most people think that the currency which has a physical appearance has some store of value and not the digital currency bitcoin.I would say that they should update from traditional thinking to technological upgrades.

We have already seen many critics like Jamie dimon criticizing bitcoin and then changing their stand.
787  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best time to take profit in Trading on: June 07, 2018, 10:51:31 PM
I would say that we should set a target of profit percentage like 5 or 10 percent and once the target reached,we should sell our coins and take profits instead of continuously following the price thinking sky as the limit for profit.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: Revolution of the Digital Economy: Bitcoin, Ethereum and Others... on: June 07, 2018, 07:04:19 PM
With no doubt, bitcoin only could succeed in being used in mainstream and Ethereum is far behind in this aspect. It only provides a platform for tokens issued and it has not gained trust as bitcoin has got nor it is accepted as payment anywhere.
789  Economy / Economics / Re: One Firm Is Way Ahead of Wall Street on Bitcoin on: June 07, 2018, 06:52:56 PM
I would say that such positive moves by big firms would add more credibility to bitcoin and it would increase the volume of users all over the world. On one side, big economic giants like gates and buffet discouraging use of bitcoin and on the other side, big firms entering crypto market.W e would have to wait a little more to see bitcoin overthrowing all the critics remarks and marching towards success.
790  Economy / Economics / Re: Speculation on BTC on: June 07, 2018, 06:41:53 PM
Just a plain prediction is given and no logical facts have been provided.Every one know that bitcoin has potential to cross borders of higher prices, but it should overcome fuds and decisions taken by governments based on geopolitical facts. Also big shots like Bill Gates and Buffett contribute a lot for the negative publicity of bitcoin by blaming it.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can actually Bitcoin be good for the environment? on: June 07, 2018, 05:31:44 AM
There are lots of industries which consume high electricity and it seems that it could not be totally changed.Instead solar power usage should be promoted. So bitcoin only could not be targeted for high electrical consumption and blamed. If we start to avoid any new technological inventions for the reason of high electrical consumption, then we would have to go backward towards stone age.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Bitcoin in India on: June 04, 2018, 11:52:22 PM
Government has not clearly stated its policy on bitcoin and unless it gets banned completely, bitcoin has a great progress in India.Government has decided to launch its own digital coin Lakshmi and if it gets launched,it seems that India might take serious steps against crypto currencies.

As far as bitcoin is concerned, the government has given three months time for the investors to convert their bitcoins in to fiat.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Damned if you do, Damned if you don't - Sell ;-> on: June 04, 2018, 11:50:46 PM
Yes holding is good, but a smaller portion of bitcoin must be sold at ATH so that we would not get disappointed even if price rises or falls. We must follow a plan of selling 20 percent of our holdings when price rises and buy back the same when price falls so that we would enjoy the profit as well as hold our coins for the upcoming ATH.

But as far as bitcoin is concerned,as we all know that it's price either increases or falls regularly, there is no need to worry about either if held or sold.
794  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bad news for Bitcoin on: June 04, 2018, 11:38:31 PM
If the opinion of Robert Schiller is seriously taken into account by investors from around the world, it is simply because he was the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2013. But when it comes to talking about Bitcoin, man does not chew his words. He is not seized by the craze that surrounds crypto-currencies for several months now.
Mr Schiller believes that Bitcoin is a speculative bubble that will end up exploding, even if in itself this virtual currency should not disappear.
No asset could remain as a bubble for such a long time and so,bitcoin is not a bubble.I t has been termed to be as a bubble for the past two years.Bitcoin has proved itself many times and it's no more in need of any economists support.Just turn a deaf ear to such critics.Otherwise,it may promote panic selling.
795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency is still illegal in Bangladesh. on: June 02, 2018, 09:37:16 AM
We could see that most of the smaller economy countries like Bangladesh ban bitcoin. They fear that bitcoin might crush their country's economy. In future, when all the countries start adopting bitcoin, then bangladesh too would have no other way than accepting bitcoin.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation of Bitcoin on: June 01, 2018, 10:30:42 PM
Yes.Without regulation,no government would be ready to allow bitcoin in to their country as it would be otherwise just like a suicide. But we need not worry about such regulation since we could see Japan as a setting example of successfully contributing to bitcoin by regulation.Regulation might affect the price temporarily but in long term,it would only help increase bitcoin price.
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: June 01, 2018, 11:16:46 AM
From last few days, btc transactions fees has been reduced remarkably. Even its transactions fees are now lower than bitcoin cash.
are you joking or are you actually serious about this? bitcoin transaction fees have never been high except for a short couple moths that the spam attack was at its most serious. in fact this spam attack ended nearly 6 months ago and fees were normal and low ever since.

It is really a great news for btc trader i think. How it can help the current market?? Share your logic please .

the "market" and the "traders" have never cared about the fees based on what they have shown during the fee ATH which was at the same time as the biggest price rise.
Yes traders have never bothered about transaction fee.Lower transaction fee would help bitcoin once again to get accepted as payment.

We could remember those days when some companies just withdrew accepting bitcoin payments due to very high transaction fee.
798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be greedy! on: June 01, 2018, 11:13:50 AM
Definitely. While trading,we should always go with a plan.We should set our profit limit as 10 or 15 percent instead of just chasing the price rise thinking sky as the limit.Otherwise,it would lead to total loss of investment.A lso,we should not invest in a coin on just seeing its price rising high as it may be getting pumped.
799  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wait for higher profit or sell and buyback? on: June 01, 2018, 11:10:44 AM
Selling at higher price and buying back once again at a lower price is good to make profits. That's what day traders mostly do to get quick profits. But if the invested crypto coin price movement is slow on both higher and lower prices, then it would be better to just HODL.
800  Economy / Speculation / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin "again" ??? on: May 31, 2018, 11:22:11 PM
No.I don't think that there would be another price dip as bitcoin price has fallen few times to this range in the past few months. But there is still a chance for bitcoin to reach its bottom price of 6,000 dollars. So you could wait a little more to grab much cheaper bitcoins.
