781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling sites should be careful of bringing eSports in on: September 13, 2020, 08:35:41 AM
I don't think underage players from eSports are trying to play gambling. They were just there to play online games that they like but for some players who do know what is gambling and does know how to play must be stop from playing if he's just gambling. We all know how dangerous gambling games is in the long run.

I think that is the worst there.

For them, they are just having fun, they are just trying to get stickers, skins, guns, heroes, or whatever that could make them the game interesting for them but what they don't know is that they are already gambling. I think that could mainly affect these children and might influence them to do gambling since they are used to taking these risks buying loot boxes.

It is not possible that they can play gambling and yet they do not know it is gambling. You have to deposit money before playing. From whom these children take money ?

There is difference between online games and gambling because most of the online games are free of cost while money is involved in gambling.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 13, 2020, 05:47:29 AM
I don't understand why the guys who are interested in T20 and other cricketing discussions, don't show much interest in joining the IPL Pool, when we have such a good prize pot. As I have mentioned before, there is chance to win 28x the entry fee.

Make the pool free of cost and you will see many will jump in.  Smiley

Actually not every understand this pool thing and some prefer to bet individually on single matches and do not want to be included in the pool sort of betting.

Sorry to necro bump this thread, have you continued to study the decline of posting over time?  It'd be interesting to see if there was a rise during the Covid-19 outbreak and subsequent lock-downs.

You can find the past 7 days data here. The post made in last 7 days is only 45543 which is very low as compare to the last data shared on this thread.

Checked your site out and am honestly not impressed op because I found the design to be bland and it seems like you need to put way more effort into improving your site. The text looks way too big when viewed on mobile screens.

The 2% house edge makes this a horrible proposition when compared to competitors who are offering similar services for a lower house edge.

That's what made me surprise too.
Quote
We have an average house edge of only 2%.
You can't survive in the market when your competitors are offering only 1% house edge. Also 1% house edge is industry standard and almost all gambling sites does not go beyond 1% house edge.
785  Other / Meta / Re: why do moderators protect scammers? on: September 12, 2020, 08:36:30 PM
I have had issues with a crypto called xfc football coin. they have decided to steal my coins and wont reply to any emails. i am posting on here to get a response and to warn other investors. However the moderators on this forum seem to remove my posts without any explanation or feedback nor with any name showing of who is emoving my posts.

Please could you help me know why my posts keep getting removed? it is all relevant to the project and expresses my experience so i have no idea why your mods would remove it unless they are getting paid by dodgy crypto projects.

Even if xfc do not give my coins back or give me a explanation as to why atlest let me warn others. if you do not let me do this i will find another platform to warn others and also warn them about how this forum protects scammers.

Please help

Thanks

This is good that you tried to expose a scam and want other investors about the  xfc football coin but at the same time you need to follow the forum rules. If you do not follow the forum rules, your posts will be deleted by the mods.  Spamming and unnecessarily bumping the post will not create attention and it is against the forum decorum.

Do you wonder how to earn money without spending a penny? Introducing Crypto World! Yes, in the crypto world there are lots of ways how to earn money without spending any amount. Just be resourceful guys. I'll give some example where you can do it. Join an airdrop campaign, bounty task. Those are examples of where you can earn without spending anything, but you must choose the best and legit one so you can make sure that you will get compensated after.

Im already 3 years in crypto but the good part is i never spend any penny since i enter into cryptoworld. Because before there are lots of giveaways and rewards here in the forum, free money.

Approximately how much do you collected in 3 years only from giveaways and rewards ? I think it will not be much amount.
If you do not want to invest in crypto, then you should have a skill which you can sell for money. Without skills, you will not be able to make much money.

I can confirm that the Bitcoin community is pretty much a cis-male-only club. Even I only get away with having "Female" on my profile because everyone thinks it's part of one of my elaborate practical jokes that I've forgotten the purpose of, though some people are starting to get suspicious... In any case, I recommend wearing a fake beard if you're planning on sticking around. Smiley

@Betwrong: Nice call on gold! I've got a few bets expiring on the same time (1 day 13 hours) on Oil (I took shitty ones and they look like losing now haha) so I might go right back in once the new oil/gold ones come up and spend some of my precious interest earned on your gold predictions;)

Just for the comparison is there any other site or marketplace where we can bet on oil and gold prices other than freebitco.in ?
This will help to compare the odds and see the trend before betting on the prices.
790  Other / Meta / Re: Beware of BitcoinTalk.ro on: September 12, 2020, 06:10:51 AM
I also found this https://bitcointalk.com/ and for having the same name with this forum I think they are riding the fame of the real bitcointalk.

And this is tricky since maybe they have double intention for creating the same name of the forum, so we need to be careful especially on our account details.

Forum like BitcoinTalk.ro or https://bitcointalk.com may be made with good intentions but we never know if they will just get our passwords and then try it on bitcointalk.org.  Most people keep same password and usernames across the forums and this can be dangerous and the account may get hacked.
791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 11, 2020, 10:06:58 PM
I did not expect England to struggle chasing a score of 294 runs, Bairstow is playing a Test innings with a strike rate of 43 which i never expected and the run rate is just 3.18 and Australia is bowling really well especially Hazlewood and Zampa and putting pressure on England by picking wickets on regular intervals and if England wins the match from this position i would be surprised as someone needs to play a special innings.
Right now England is struggling but still they are in as required rate is 8.15 and Bairstow and Billings on crease with Moeen and Woakes still to come we can expect some good end of this match even Aussies doing very good bowling specially as you mention Hazlewood and Zampa both wicket taking bowlers.

England lost the match. No one expected this result once the match was started. Aussie played a good game and come back strongly in the match. For the first time England are losing the series by 0-1. Let's see how they come back in the next match or is this their first series loss after the covid ?
Now Australia is in good touch after losing twenty/20 series as they have learned from their mistakes even still need some more work but today batting was good and then bowlers give some good support but England lost their touch as Roy is now not good for this team they must need Malan who was in good touch but still good match good result for Austratlia and peoples those watch this match.

Bairstow 84 and  Billings  118 couldn't save England from the defeat. Zampa and Hazlewood bowled superb especially Hazlewood who bowled 3 maidens in his 10 over spell and give away 26 runs only and tool 3 wickets. England needs other players to contribute in batting and not just focus on one or two players to do the scoring.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be careful when you play games with your coins! on: September 11, 2020, 03:35:14 PM
Gamblers know well the consequences and how risky gambling is. It is just that they forgot about it or even their limitation once they started gambling. Even if the coins is a hard earned money, it doesn't change the fact that it will be set aside once you started gambling and start enjoying yourself whether you win or lose.

I have asked few gamblers about it and they also have same feelings. They know that gambling is risky and they also know that they should spend only limited amount while playing gambling but when they play gambling they forget everything and play with more money than they can afford to lose.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: September 06, 2020, 09:47:21 AM
With such zero house edge gambling sites how revenue gets generated. In the past several successful gambling sites have gone bankrupt due to the improper house edge on games. Sports betting doesn't have any specific house edge, checked with betvoyager and chain-bet. Those websites works same as other gambling sites. Someone eloborate the success of these websites.

One way to run a zero edge gambling site would be to put a lot of Ads on the website. But who would want to play on a casino where constantly pop ups come up and you see Ads in every corner of the monitor.

I think it's better for a casino to have their edge in the games so make at least some money, as they have quite a few expenses, like servers, security, coding, support, etc.

We all want our crypto casinos in good financial situation and not going bankrupt.

We dont want to see the ads on the gambling sites. Also the revenue generated from the ads will not be that much as compare to how much a player may win from a 0% house edge casino.

Only this gambling site - http://www.bitcoinbetting.website/, others have ~ 1% house edge. But even with 1% house edge you can win instantly.  Wink

In the long run, any site which has house edge will always win. In the short term, it doesn't matter however because the chances to win are almost equal to 50% so the minor volatility in luck doesn't matter in short term of the house edge. However if there was no house edge, all casinos would go bankrupt as any lucky player would just win so much.

No gambling casino can run successfully without a house-edge. Those who claim that they are running with zero house-edge are speaking false. Don't trust them for this.
794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: After growing an account, what next? on: September 06, 2020, 08:28:03 AM
Having a high Bitcointalk rank is I think overly fantasized. Though I'm personally proud of having a high rank, there really isn't that much up here, really. It really just mostly matters if you're here for campaigns and selling services and such, which I guess are the reasons why most people are here for. 🤷‍♂️

Having high rank means that you have many merits (as we need merits to get higher ranks) and having merits means that one is a good poster and people like to read and give merits to his post. So basically it is not all about ranking up or applying in signature campaign, its also a way to gain respect in the forum and make you stand ahead among others.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: September 06, 2020, 07:41:39 AM
^^^ They are giving 10/11 odds for England (1.90) and 11/10 odds for Australia (2.10). So the gambling sites are slightly favoring England for the remaining matches. I would say that the odds look very attractive for Australia. I would rather make a bet in favor of Australia for the remaining two matches. Even if they win one of these matches, I will end up in profit.

Sometimes you cannot bet looking at the odds only as odds shows the current match situation and cannot predict the turnaround in the matches. In the last match, Australia needed just 39 off 36 balls with many wickets in hand and all the bookies were sure that Australia would win and they were giving higher odds for England at that time. Those who took the risk by betting on England at that time, would have been rewarded good.
796  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why privacy matters on: September 06, 2020, 07:32:33 AM
I Feel like privacy matters quite alot but everything online nowadays requires verification so its really hard to stay anon. I hate needing to verify for things like paypal but it must be done.

Being online and having a social media footprint is a good thing. But more and more people become cautious about what to put online. Looking at the average Instagram profile you notice that these pictures don't show a normal life, rather a collection and selection of perfect pictures. Privacy is very important but people take it for granted too easily and only realise what they had when it's gone. Who wants to live in a world with a 100% surveillance? That's also why VPN became so attractive.

It's a basic right of an individual but as we are moving towards digital era, there is less privacy. Social media like Facebook, Instagram are the platforms where there is no privacy left and agents also gather these data for targeted marketing etc.
Also many people don't know what privacy is and they do not care about it much.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall of dia data (DeFi) on: September 06, 2020, 06:57:08 AM
Don't know what is happening at this moment. Most of defi project lost their value incredibly. Especially for dia data, the recently successful defi token, launched IEO a months ago. Then it was start increasing incredibly, ATH around at $5.13  Sep 02, 2020 (3 days ago) but its only $2.09 today Sep 05, 2020. Just decrease more than half of its value within 48hours when it added binance exchange mainwhile
One minute silence for the people who bought it at the all time high, if it is added in the binance exchange then someone might dumped it for sure because deif craziness is all over the market so if someone dump it means there will be a chain reaction and result into panic selling.

The DEFI drama and hype is not over yet. It's just the beginning of this new era. If you missed the profit from DIA, buy it now at sale price of around 2.00$.
The price of DIA and all other defi coins will pump more in the coming days.
798  Other / Meta / Re: Asking For A Pardon - Banned for Plagerism 2 Years Ago on: September 06, 2020, 06:03:16 AM
If mods will forgive every banned account here, banning would become useless. In short, we should pay for our consequence. It is also guide as a warn for every user that we have to abide to the rules imposed in this forum. Because regrets are always at the end. The forum is strongly prohibited plagiarism and spamming. It will give us a banned consequence for the entire life. If you want to work and share in this forum, try to make a new but I think it will lead to a ban evasion. It just a lesson for all of us that we should not play against the rule. Even we don`t want the condition for you OP still we can`t do about it anymore. Let see what moderators can do to your banned account sir.

Sometime i think that Plagiarism ban maybe lifted after 1 or 2 years because it will be a good period for anyone to learn from his mistake. People do change for good. That's a suggestion and not related to the OP post here.
799  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜— GameArt tournament 🏆125 mBTC price pool on: September 06, 2020, 05:47:38 AM

125 mBTC? These guys are pathetic

125mBTC is around 1250 USD which is a pretty decent amount and i don't thing any thing is wrong with that. The sites which offer more unrealistic prize money often scam and do not pay the players.
In how many players will this prize money be distributed ?
800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: All your entertainment things must have an external limiting feature, agree? on: September 06, 2020, 04:58:25 AM
This is a very nice idea indeed. I couldn't agree more.

Having this feature would surely lessen addicted people or people to be addicted in gambling. However, there would be another way for them to cure their thirst. They could still play int other gambling sites if they've hit the limit on a certain gambling site, so on and so forth.

But still, implementing this kind of feature will help a lot of people, and I hope gambling sites are okay with it because all of them doesn't care about people's money, all they care is about making bankrolls every single day.

This can help people not to get addicted to gambling. If strict rules are in place, people will only gamble within limits and will never face gambling addictions. However the question remain that who will make this rule and ensure it is being followed by all casino's and the players ?
