Hello all, dev again. Glad to see our volume  Still working on this paper and finishing up the section about the decentralized/encrypted chatroom system. Need more rest, I have been working frantically for some days. Please stake a few coins to help the POS network balance out! Back soon. I hope it is a good as we are expecting! I'm sure it will be. But seriously, do we all find it a problem that some smart people mined/bought this coin in large quantities early on? The case for large holdings are of no difference to any other major coin's initial launch. The more cautious investors pull out early with their deserved reward and the large holders continue to buy until they want to cash out. At that point they have accumulated so much, they tend to crash the market. This is the typical pattern that I have noticed time and time again.
But, if the dev delivers, we should not see this crash, and go forth like Darkcoin.

This coin has a 300btc market cap. 1 whale has been buying if not more since 8k. They probably hold most of the coins by now. The rest of the weak hands will sell and if this coin proves to be legit it'll hit levels never seen before. Worth a gamble if you are a whale and want to throw 50-100 bitcoins into this. If it isn't legit then it comes crashing down.
And maybe you need a lesson in time zones: Most of the American market will be going to sleep in the next 3 hours, they are not just waking to the realization that this coin is suddenly valuable and "oh, I better panic buy". And to suit your point: I 100% agree with the fact of "nothing is proven until it is there" sort of thing. And I can confirm there is an at least a near 8% holder in this coin. I don't know about any higher, but that is what I can confirm. As far as the price goes, this is where the market has deemed the coin to be priced at for now until the full white paper release in a few hours. After that point, we either crash or we are proven and we continue: simple as that. |

how do i stake my coins in my wallet?
Hold coins in your wallet, let them mature, go to settings and "unlock". Once the padlock symbol has a cut in it, you are technically staking. All is left to do is wait for a block. If someone can answer as to how long (in terms of confirmations) is needed for the coins to mature, please do let me know. |

Have I read a paper, yes... Has anyone read this coin's white paper, no, because it won't be out for another good 5-8 hrs. If you mean something else, please do elaborate. |

Even though I am in this one until $10-$20, with URO and now this, $10 into $200 over two days isn't bad  you think it'll hit $10? i would've been happy with $1-2! Love this coin already; glad i got in early Absolutely! If the dev releases his decentralized anon, it will easily surpass darkcoin; Lower cap, greater innovation! Edit: Well, come to think about it, linearly thinking, 5x less coins than drk, if this coin wins the anon race for decentralization, .1 might not be out of the picture... Long shot, but still... |

Could we see a ninja add from mintpal on Monday? bittrex has become one of the top exchanges. at the moment mintpal and bittrex are at pole positions, being on either is ok. I agree with you, but when you have this level of innovation, an extra potential 4k btc volume won't hurt... |

I realize the blocks are going to be infrequent, but my goodness, 2 hours is unacceptable. C'mon people, start staking!

Does the current PoS implementation add inflation or just work off of TX fees? If it is really 15% inflation compounding on all staked coins, this is too good of a system to keep the rate that high: We need to keep it rare...
Edit: lol, it never fails: the classic bump, dump, then massive pump/re-evaluation on news V.S. the pump then massive dump on hype/lies. Remember, we can surpass dark if this anon system is released and works... Let the weak hands sell, they will all be kicking themselves like many did with BC, XC, DRK, etc... Only the strong holders survived to realize the massive payoff.

I love the coin and I am expecting great things in the future, but has the blockchain gotten stuck at 2521? No new blocks for an hour and a half...
i know... i've had 10 unconfirmed coins because of this stuck in a pool. One thing that makes me think we possibly forked is I sent 60 coins from bittrex to my wallet before block 2521. 3 blocks have now passed since then. I withdrew two separate times earlier to the same address with no problems. Now the explorer can't even find the TXID for the 60 coins... Maybe bittrex forked on that block and is using a bad chain? Edit: wow, seems like when I post something, the thing I am curious about shows up... Interesting how the coins showed up 4 blocks later... Second Edit: Another withdraw just showed up immediately; Blockchain must have really been stuck for an hour... |
