Arsenal have a problem and that problem is finding it hard to beat smaller teams. Granted, Luton town are a stubborn team because it's the same club that drew against Liverpool and lost to Man UTD by a lone goal but I expected that with their calibre they would able to finish the game with finesse. Honestly speaking Arsenal has a big problem when it comes to playing smaller teams in the league. This was exactly what caused them the league last season when they couldn't beat Southampton and Nottingham Forest. I don't really know why they struggle with these teams. They have to me more clinical and ruthless when playing these team because if you are going to win the league you shouldn't be finding it difficult to see off teams like Luton Town. It's always like that. Sometimes arsenal played so well but in another time it was struggling against small club or even almost losing it. Im still believing that if arsenal can do even better than it. You're right if arsenal should not be struggle against luton but if we are watching the game if luton tried to do everything to reduce arsenal's attack. Raya has been also become the main attention right now caused by his mistake during the game but rice was able saving his face. he shall be thankful to the rice caused by this guy is a hidden weapon owned by arsenal. I remember that rice was also helping arsenal to win against city during the injury time as well. This guy is underrated but sometimes he was playing so badly too. Arsenal is not yet stable as a team. It was almost losing against luton. |

Its really a shame that Luton didn't get a tie from here. I know they are not at premier league level yet and they do have a lot missing, but it could have been a cool story for their history at least. They did play wonderful this game, I mean if they played like this every game I doubt they would relegate, they were really prepared for the game without a doubt. Plus, when you think about the added time, it was well beyond the added time when Arsenal found the goal, lately premier league has been getting some questionable situations with late goal situations, I hope it is not start of a new trend. The game should have been over, but it kept going on and Arsenal got away with it this time.
Arsenal are at the top of the table for as reason and the victory stolen at the 11th hr speaks more volume about that. According to the new FIFA rules every time wasted must count, and it's all those wasted time within the 45 mins that's been calculated accumulating to that extra time given, and it wasn't as though the time was given to arsenal alone it was for both teams to play. What if Luton has been lucky to get that goal in the added time would you have raised eyebrow still about the long added time? I think arsenal is in one of their toughest form and it will take a more tougher team to beat them this season except they start encountering injuries and loss of form on key players as the season proceeds. Wouldn't fail to applaud Luton for giving in such a fight tonight they really did put arsenal players and Artheta on their toes, the match was seemly entertaining. Let's see whether arsenal is going to bottle it again or keep going to gain more points easily. We are still in the middle of season. The things can change anytime if arsenal will not be ready for the competition at the late game. Arsenal is always showing its weakeness when it comes to the late game. I meant arsenal was always out of fuel. People will be putting it at their main concern. Arsenal was strong but it's not as strong as it used to be. The consistentcy from the club is gonna be the thing to be tested. Arsenal is one of most inconsistent club at the end of season after totenham. How many times this team failed to win EPL after good run during the early - middle of season. The gap to the liverpool and manchester city were not big. Arsenal must always be careful with it. It doesn't even matter how many weeks you were at the top if you will be missing the trophy at the end of season. |
