Manchester City vs Beneft was an interesting game between the two teams and Manchester City luckily won by 0-1. The game was really exciting with Beneft attacking strongly but they couldn't keep the ball in Manchester City's net which could not equalize the match. Manchester city literally had a tough game against Brentford because all their efforts to win the game with some levels of ease was actually resisted and stopped by Brentford and they(Manchester city) did dominated the first half so well yet ended it in a goalless draw. Brentford had a quiet impressive defense making it really difficult for Manchester city to penetrate despite all their attempts.
Manchester city had a good play and even had one of their goals canceled, going by the odd given them by the bookies I had taught it was going to be an easy game for Manchester city to win but maybe the absence of de bruyne was another reason they struggled to get as much goal as they should because Brentford wasn't expected to be a really strong team but they did performed really well and at some point they became a threat around the 18 yard box of Manchester city but city had a good defense too who couldn't allow for certain mistakes. Pepe even seem not really happy with the results tho they were able to get three points but they would gotten more goals.
Manchester City played a good game, but I also expected more than one goal, even though the one goal increased their points by three points, which makes them just a point lower than Liverpool. Still, the game was interesting, but what I was also impressed with more was the resistance and the defence that Brentford had against Manchester City. It was so hard for Manchester to penetrate the defence, so I can say Brentford came prepared not to lose against Manchester City, but they also know that it will be great luck for them not to lose that game. But I also thought that maybe it was because De Bruyne was not in the game that is the reason they find it hard to achieve more goals, but never the less, the game was very tough and the game results came as expected, which I put as Manchester City to win, and they won, so the results came as expected. It was a nice game to watch with both teams creating good attacks at the post. As expected, Manchester City dominated the most of it and Mark Flekken, the Brentford Golie had a busy time. One shot from Oscar Bobb went past the keeper and was defended by Brentford defender from the goal line. The one on one goal from Halland was impressive as always, Halland can outrun anyone to score. The game was just about the points and Manchester City got the full. The title race is going to be a three way one with just 13 matches left for each team. It's going to be a long race till the end. City was fully dominating the game but brentford was able creating solid defensiveline against it, i give my credit to the brentford even though it was losing the game against city but it can still at least get 1 point. GG for brentford. Manchester city was fully attacking it. City has tried that many times but haaland was able scoring at the second half. Even though city was winning the game with narrow score but win is still win. City is collecting full points from brentford and this is another good result for the club. It's caused by team is performnig even better compared tot he last season. All of brentford players can be appreciated. It was a hard game for manchester city but the citizen has been successfulyl collecting another win after it was get bad result in the previous matches. The competition is going even crazy till the end of season. We will be seeing so many great players to give their best till the end of season. CIty, liverpool and arsenal. Fullkrug has been in decent form along with their attacking mids Sancho, Reus and Brandt. Good defensive midfield too but the defence is slightly questionable, yet they should be able to hold their own and not leak goals.
We have maatsen who is still performing very well till now. I think that the chance for dortmund to win the game is big, the odds for dortmund is quite big caused by it will be playing away. PSV was strong enough and dortmund needs to be careful against it. The possible stratetgy to be used in this game was fully defensive game. betting on dortmund is involving quite high risk for us. PSV can't be considered as easy team. I knew that these teams were not having good position at the domestic league but i think that if PSV can be considered as a strong team as well. That was a surprising defeat for AC Milan and a happy round for Inter Milan which not only see AC Milan losing 3 points but also Juventus missing 2 points after their draw against Verona. I don't know what's worse, to see Milan defeat vs mid-table team or Juventus draw against a team in the relegation zone. After all, that was a good reward for Inter, they are right now in advance with 9 points and could go up to 12 since they still lacks 1 match. Acmilan can only compete for UCL this time. This club has zero chance to enter into the title race caused by intermilan has been fully dominating it. I think that other clubs have no chance to get scudetto this seaosn. it's caused by the situation is impossible due to the big gap between intermilan and its competitors. Milan played so horrible against monza and im getting very upset to the performance from this club. it feels like we have lost the good performance from milan. Arsenal's current game is good again and very consistent in winning with the score has been the last opponent of Burnley and West Ham despite playing away to his cage Westham and Burnley were able to win with a landslide score of 5-0 and 6-0. while FC Porto in the Champion League is a weak team opponent only Barcelona is strong and even then when meeting with Barcelona 2 home matches and both parties ended in defeat. Arsenal is still consistent in the domestic league and this gives arsenal more confidence to win the game in UCL. it will not have strong opponent as well, arsenal will get multiple advantages in the upcoming game. No doubt that this club can qualify for the next stage easily but the club shall not need to underestimate porta. It can also give us a surprise too. The gunner shall always be careful with it. Im only thinking that if porto can only playe fully defensive against arsenal. The quality of players were the main factor that pressuring porto to play carefully against arsenal. Im not saying porto was weak but this is the only possible solution for this problem. The club needs to make sure arsenal will not be able to entering into the penalty box. The mistakes that very often made by clubs in EPL to play openly against arsenal. Rather than improving, this is exacerbating the situation compared to its previous state. As I said some several posts ago here that Bayern should not be relied to be betting on them as all the psychological pressure is on them and they showed tonight that they could not bear such a pressure and I also conclude that in here they completely lost any single glimpse of hope that they may had to win the Bundesliga this year,they simply have not been consistent.
Leverkussen needs just to not be self complacent and I am pretty sure with their performance they are going to have an easy win of the Bundesliga title during this year,they just need to not underestimate any remaining games until the end of the season.
Bayern Munich are running their chances and making the title accomplishment this season evaporate with every round. Bochum is a team hovering around the relegation zone and shouldn't be a problem for a team like Bayern. It wasn't a a lucky and a surprising finish with a late goal. Bayern Munich had the time to score but they failed to do it.. Lose is a lose and there's no words that can be used to excuses the result against bochum. Bochum was a garbage club and this is a very bad result from 1 billion valuation team like bayern. It's a shame for tuchel coz his club lose against the mediocre team like that. We have a bundesliga winner now. Leverkusen has been always consistently winning the game unlike bayern which was keep losing more points by showing horrible performance. The gameplay from bayern munich is even terrible to watch. It seems kane will be missing bundesliga trophy on his first season in bayern munich which is very bad. Bayern officials need to do something to save the club from the lose. Many fans were feeling disappointed with the result. I would say the Juventus team lost confidence after the defeat against Inter Milan. Because after the defeat in this match, the possibility of winning the title is over for Juventus. At the moment, Juventus is 9 points behind despite playing 1 match more than Inter Milan. This team has no chance of winning the title. And now Juventus' only aim is to finish the season in the top four of the table.

There are 4 matches left in the first round of 16, PSV vs Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan vs Atletico Madrid, Porto vs Arsenal and Napoli vs Barcelona.
Still think that Dortmund, Arsenal and Barca should not have big problems to get into the next round. I'm going back and forth on who will come out as winner for Inter against Atletico. At the moment I'm leaning towards Inter, as they're dominating the league. However, Atletico are always good for surprises, so I assume both matches will be very close. The game is gonna happen on sansiro. Atletico will not obviously play openly against intermilan. The only surprise that i have been waiting from atletico to use parking bus strategy. Im not seeing the possibility for atletico to play offensively against intermilan away. Diego simeone was rarely changing the strategy and 3-5-2 seems going to be used by atletico madrid to face intermilan soon. Simeone does like to use a lot of midfielders on its strategy. It wasn't an easy victory by PSG despite the score. The attackers in the starting eleven weren't much impressive. Especially Barcola and Kolo Muani. Mbappe's not being in the starting eleven affected the productivity this time. He even scored a goal to relieve his team shortly after he entered the game in the second half.  PSG were of course in a comfortable situation in the standings so Luis Enrique must have wanted to rest Mbappe. But after seeing the team struggling he must have wanted to secure the game by making the move. Now the gap with Nice is even 14 points so the season is technically over. Nantes performed quite well and this club was not playing that bad. It was focusing on did quick counter attack. It can be seen from how nantes had collected around 7 goal attempts against PSG but its attacker had been so wasteful. No goal happened for nantes and this club still played like shit. PSG is way better in ball possession but it was really suck in building the momentum. Lucas and mbappe scored for PSG. 2 goal attempts and 2 goals. It was fuckn 100% accuracy. The quality of players said the truth here. Nantes can't keep up with the game against PSG. Mbappe has put his name on the score board after he was able scoring through penalty. I can't imagine PSG without mbappe. He was the main reason that made PSG got popular. It will be so strange to see PSG to play without mbappe next season as this guy can also be called as a problematic guy too in the club.  There won't be any superstars in PSG next season. Manchester City vs Chelsea has been an exciting game between two teams and both teams have drawn in this game. We saw a few days ago Chelsea lost against normal team but this man city performance against was really interesting. Although the game was played at an average ground for Man City, they did not perform well and did not win the match but ended up with a draw. Although Manchester City had 70% possession of the ball most of the time in the match, Chelsea did not have that much possession with only 30% of the ball and they drew the match with Man City. Both teams had great attacks and neither team could organize due to strong attacks.However, the match was very good and both teams attacked until the last minute to share the points. And most people lost in this match most players bet on Man City and Chelsea, but people who bet on a draw won a lot more.
I think the draw that Man City got was a big loss because it was a home game, and it should have been a good opportunity for Man City to get the full 3 points. The scenario to get 3 points failed when Chelsea scored first because under such conditions Chelsea tends to play defensive football and it seems the strategy is quite effective, as a result, Man City could only get a draw. The title race is becoming even more interesting because at the same time Arsenal and Liverpool both managed to win. That's absolutely right. Playing at home then missed three points. There was no worst result for manchester city rather than it. Any points are very important to the club and that's why many liverpudlians and the gunners were so thankful to the chelsea coz the draw helped those clubs to cut the gap toward manchester city. I thought that chelsea would be playing openly but i was wrong. The fact, city is not in the same line with arsenal and liverpool. The competition to get EPL trophy is far harder compared to the last season coz liverpool has joined the race. The only thing that can prevent liverpool to get EPL when salah and nunez were injured. It was so pathetic when haaland had missed many chances but it's his trouble now. Haaland became so wasteful and he can't convert any chanec into the goals. colwill and disasi did great job. Chilwell was also performing more than what i have expected. Another entertaining match from chelsea and city. Pep has admitted that chelsea as a strong club. Poch once again did stupid thing with his pathetic subs. Chelsea fans got fucked cuz his dumbest subs. No doubt fans are baffling even though chelsea got draw. |
