781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 16, 2016, 01:28:46 PM
Hey guys, I PMed the WavesSignature account a few days ago, and I've yet to get a response nor have my waves shown up in my account.  Any idea when I, and others, will be getting our Waves for the signature campaign?

Go to slack channel and send direct message for @ahmedashraf
How do i register an account at slack?
782  Other / Off-topic / Re: When and why did you start using Bitcoin? on: June 15, 2016, 09:17:22 PM
I first started getting interested in digital currencies
because of doge coin , as naive as i was i thought i could
get rich if i invested in it, and after that didnt happen
and i did a bit of research about bitcoin and altcoins
i invested some money in bitcoin and also mined altcoins for a while.
783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would anyone claim to be Satoshi? on: June 15, 2016, 09:12:13 PM
Probably to be famous and get a lot of attention from people
and also to gain some money for exclusive interviews etc.
784  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: June 15, 2016, 09:07:44 PM
i would commit sudoku probably
or try heroin
or both
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 15, 2016, 05:15:04 PM
Have not got an answer yet. Could someone answer the question please? I am still waiting to get my WAVES transferred. Do I need to do something else except of adding and confirming the WAVES address?

When will the coins be transferred from the ICO page to my address? I added my address four hours ago to the ICO account and confirmed it. But they coins are still shown in the ICO account.
Its a semi automatic process it could take some hours
786  Other / Off-topic / Re: [Discussion]What work would you do for 1$USD per hour? on: June 15, 2016, 04:50:52 PM
I wouldnt do anything for 1 dollar per hour.
My time is too precious for me to do waste it for
only 1 dollar per hour.
But i guess some people on here especially newbies that
really want to get some BTC without spending money on it,
would do things like doing twitter posts or surveys and solving captchas
for 1 dollar in bitcoin per hour.
787  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will WAVES do better than LISK on the markets? on: June 15, 2016, 04:40:39 PM
I expect WAVES will definitely have a higher market cap since it is far more innovative than LISK with much larger following.

Wave far more innovative of nothingness and the failed at launch.

how has the launched failed? the main net is online and you can move coins around. You cannot force exchanges to add you, you can only help them with the process of adding. waves isn't just a clone...
The not being on any exchanges yet problem definitely made Waves lose
some momentum and hype, but if it gets added in the next few days
it should be able to recover the lost hype and after shaking out the weak hands
that are just waiting to dump their coins, the price should stabilize at at least 2x ICO price imo.
788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you call someone with 1000BTC? on: June 15, 2016, 04:27:10 PM
A whale i guess?
But i would just call him dude with a lot of BTC  Smiley
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you "manipulate" the price of bitcoin? on: June 15, 2016, 04:25:33 PM
You would probably need a lot of money/bitcoins
to do that. And / or the opportunity to spread FUD or positive rumours
with wide media reach.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people keep buying DOGE? on: June 15, 2016, 04:17:03 PM
Maybe because it was the entry point to crypto currencies for
many people and some of them still believe that it will make
them wealthy. Also apparently there is still some money to
make for some normal traders because of the fluctuations and
price manipulations.
791  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fuck Summer! on: June 15, 2016, 04:08:08 PM
I dont really like summer either
in winter you can at least put on some warm clothes to protect against the cold.
but in summer you cant really do anything to protect yourself from the heat
also i get bad headaches a lot in summer because of the sun
792  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would any of u find this girl attractive? on: June 15, 2016, 04:04:01 PM
I dont find her attractive she looks too manly for my taste.
Looks a bit like a male to female transsexual imo. And i guess thats the reason why youve even made this thread.
But i guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 15, 2016, 03:58:16 PM
is it really postponed to 25 june ??
No!
Its not postponed, everythings working nicely
you can even send coins.
The only thing right now thats stopping waves to be traded
on exchanges are the exchanges themselves, they will announce
if waves is ready to be traded it could happen anytime soon
794  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We Could Be Living In Simulation Says Elon Musk on: June 15, 2016, 03:47:35 PM
It could be possible i guess, would this mean that
if a simulation reaches high enough technology know how
to create their own simulation that there could endless
simulations inside of simulations?
795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 15, 2016, 03:33:10 PM
Yesterday, I imported my ICO account to the Chrome Client and waited for my Waves to come in. They did a couple of hours later. So far so good.

Today I noticed that the funds have been sent elswewhere. And the balance is now showing up again in my ICO account. What has happened here?

(1) Was I hacekd and my funds stolen?
(2) Or were the funds sent back to the ICO account for whatever reason?

If (2) is correct: Why was that the case? And when will the funds go back to my client address?
For me the address that is shown on the ICO account is the one have to login with in the lite client
They both show the same amount of Waves.
Is the address in your wallet the same as the one in the ICO account?
796  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 15, 2016, 03:23:42 PM
i would only ever invest half of my spare money and save the rest, but thats just to be safe.
For making money just saving it doesnt really help you so investing should be the better choice,
but you shouldnt invest anything that you cant afford to lose.
The risk level definitely depends
on the kind of investment you make, always do your research first and dont buy on blind trust
797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: June 15, 2016, 03:16:24 PM
Ive lost some bitcoins because of hacked exchanges like cryptsy
and scamming exchanges like cryptorush
and ive once accidentally sent btc to a wrong address because i was too tired and careless to double check it
but it never happened again
798  Other / Meta / Re: Why cant we tip others in bitcoin in the bitcoin forum? on: June 15, 2016, 02:17:07 PM
I think that the best way would be to just tip the persons signature address
Loading up bitcointalk btc balance to tip people wouldnt be decentralized anymore
799  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Birthday, Theymos! on: June 15, 2016, 02:15:12 PM
Happy Birthday Theymos
I hope you get some nice presents and have a nice party
800  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: June 15, 2016, 02:13:33 PM
It depends for buyers paypal is probably a better choice most of the time for shops etc.
because you can get your money back if they dont deliver for example
But for sellers bitcoins are better because they cant scam you and get their money back
