At this point, I would just want them to benefit by investing.. but I am curious on how effective promoting can be.
Mostly twitter and forum based?

Are you talking about a "pump and dump" or ?

No, just now starting to promote, reach out to new exchanges, etc. Launching a couple websites soon and devs are working on a couple projects to be announced.
oh, I thought you were looking for someone who can promote your coins  Grin

thanks for introducing your coin.

Well yes, I do need help.   Cheesy

I know people have some very effective services here and thought this might be a possible win/win scenario for someone to possibly help and benefit along the way is all.

We're just starting promotion and working with this coin (Bitmark) and think it has some good upside potential. The market cap is currently low and could be a good multiplier. Was interested in a person that may run a service and could possibly help an investment/coin grow.

Thanks for reading everyone!

Just a small market watch post for the little traders out there. Bitmark just got their Twitter feed back today. An official website and a couple projects in the works atm. Nothing huge but a few people can make some small gains.. keep an eye out.
I'll be watching to see if anything happens on Poloniex this weekend.

The Bitmark development activity is not actually posted on BitcoinTalk. It all resides on Slack.
There are a couple hundred people in the channel that probably find it humorous someone thinks it's dead and is interested in a takeover. Feel free to request an invitation for a Slack channel invite.

Looks like it is starting to happen yoyodyne. Hey, can I get an invite to your BTM slack channel?  Smiley
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DGB News - Iceland's Auroracoin Moves from LTC to DGB Codebase on: March 09, 2016, 08:22:41 PM
Iceland’s Auroracoin Moves from Litecoin to Multi-Algo DigiByte Codebase

The development team behind Icelandic cryptocurrency, Auroracoin, released today an updated codebase designed to enhance the security and reliability of the Auroracoin blockchain.

The new release moves the project from a  Litecoin codebase (version 0.8.7.5 ) to a DigiByte codebase (version 4.0.3).  Discussions at Auraráđ, the Icelandic Auroracoin Foundation, about moving to a multi-algorthmic codebase narrowed down to a decision between Myriadcoin or DigiByte as the foundational code.  After some great discussions with the founder of DigiByte, Jared Tate,  Auraráđ selection that codebase.  Additionally, DigiByte released their version 4 DigiSpeed code during early development,

The new codebase uses five algorithms, instead of the previous Scrypt-only algorithm, to create a network that is ASIC-resistant, suitable for CPU and GPU miners, and improves decentralization. Moreover, a multi-algorithmic implementation mitigates multipool activity, thus reducing the chance of ‘long blocks’.

Jess Foddrill, a developer with the team, explained:
“The focus of this update is to create a secure and reliable blockchain that can be the backbone of an eventually preferential monetary system in Iceland.’’

Pétur Árnason, Chairman of Auraráđ, added:
“The team can now turn its focus to educate the Icelandic public about Auroracoin and its benefits to the society along with building the tools that simplify usage for merchants and consumers alike.”

The Auroracoin team plans to soon release wallets for Windows, OSX and Linux operating systems as well as a web wallet suitable for iPhone, Android and Blackberry handheld and tablet devices.

After debuting in March 2014, Auroracoin lost most of its initial value and did not recover, even after three different “airdrops” of the currency throughout 2014, where the foundation freely offered 31.8, 318 and 636 Auroracoins to any Icelanders.

792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: February 23, 2016, 02:54:59 AM
The smaller coins are about making money off volatility due to hype and in some cases, adoption. Here are two I'm looking at.

DGB
Looking at market cap, I see a coin like DGB going to $2.5-$8M with nice ups and downs along the way. That's 2x-7x profit. They've got a large community, over 20k Twitter followers and heavier trading volume hasn't ceased since October '15 (before that was very low volume). They were just listed on their first Chinese exchange today. And in 10 days, the lead dev is a speaker at one of three international bitcoin conferences they are going to so far this year. I'm not boasting about the coin, I just think the price is going to jump again soon. Price spikes significantly every 2-3 weeks in 2016. Higher highs, and closer together.

BTM
Needs a lot of work, but this coin ironically is the only one actually being used at a large exchange like Poloniex.. and seemed to be long forgotten until recently. Almost no volume for eons, yet not delisted due to its application at Poloniex (marking) making it unique in that once it's marking feature is adopted somewhere, it stays. Again, market cap at $100k and has potential to go to $500k- $2.5M. That's 5x-25x profit. Looks like some more devs coming on board there according to bitcointalk thread. Keep your eye on this one... I think it will surprise everyone.
793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / DGB - I'm Calling The Next Bubble II on: February 22, 2016, 10:39:28 PM
I'll just start by saying, this isn't about egos or sentiments.. it's about trading tips and making money.
With that said, at least three reasons you will see good volatility (50-150%) with DGB this next 1-3 weeks.

1) DGB was listed on their first Chinese exchange today (now trading in CNY).
They are concentrating on paving the way to a high-volume Chinese trading exchanges.
http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/digibyte/#markets

2) DGB Developer will be speaking at the first in a series of 2016 International Cryptocurrency Conferences in the beginning of March (10 days away).
http://bitcoinconference.co.za

3) Daily trading volume really took off Oct 2015 and has not since seized. Higher highs are grouping closer together and there has been one large spike every few weeks since the beginning of January. DGB really is posting up for another breakout.. and I'm calling it. Day traders - you're welcome.  Wink

Feel free to read my January "DGB - I'm Calling The Next Bubble" thread here when DGB went from a low of 42 to a high of 106...

795  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitmark - What is the Market Cap potential of BTM? on: February 21, 2016, 09:25:03 PM
Realistically, what do you say the market cap potential of Bitmark is if they get adopted from another big site? The current market cap being around $50-75k.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] Bitmark 2016 Development - Discussion on: February 21, 2016, 05:19:36 PM
We would like to officially announce a new project in development for Bitmark (BTM - a blockchain that allows website users to send reputation points to other users). As a broad team of new developers, we see the enduring potential of BTM once implemented within features that a website or service provides (e.g., Reputation 'marks' prevail such at Poloniex regardless of trading volume). This unique aspect of Bitmark seems to lend security to itself once implemented within a community. Therefore we have decided to adopt the project and develop improvements, essential services and ultimately begin working to assist other reputable community-based websites in order to implement an economic reputation feature.

We look forward to a successful venture together and will be launching the official thread shortly outlining projects and improvements which are due moving forward.

With 2015 being called a record breaking year for social media sites, we see a strong opportunity to enhance an Internet in which community-based websites are so rapidly emerging. The future of the web truly will seem to be social in nature.
We encourage you to watch as we take this vision forward and move Bitmark into the spotlight its timing so truly deserves.

TeamBTM

Great to hear that the project is back on track!

+1

Also, could you let us know the first thing that you might be working on?
It's ironic, out of all the coins on Poloniex, this is the only one which is actually used there.
Looking forward to seeing it used on more sites. I could easily see the market cap hitting $1M like many other coins if this happens (10x).

That's good. And keep in mind you can do this once or twice a week. You can tell from the tech's response that you get a different tech pretty much every time.

I think the price of the DGB rose a lot in January. Should we give it some time to consolidate and rise later?

No.

Just tried, but not interested in facebook logins. Is there a possibility to login without facebook?

I'm not sure if there is another way. I've been a member for a year and have kept both WDC and CNY stored on there for some weeks at a time while trading. They are also insured for 10 million CNY I believe; it's a trusted exchange in China.

Everybody in the community should make an account on BTC38.com and open a support ticket requesting that they add Digibyte. Open a support ticket every few days and ask them. Back when we got WDC added to the exchange, the community merely flooded the support ticket page with authentic requests for it to be added. The overwhelming requests caused the coin to be added to the exchange. Note that it is very simple to setup an account there. Actually, we even reached out to some of the bigwigs there with the Chinese Instant Messaging program QQ.

Follow this link for the English version.
http://www.btc38.com/trade_en.html

It's very simple. Click Login/Reg and login via Facebook.
Finally hover over My Account, then choose Open a Ticket.
Great idea sir!
Im gonna do that tonight Smiley
Lol just logged into BTC38 and went to open ticket, turns out i already asked them to add DGB to their site in september 2015.

Yes, ask them about once per week. It's a pool of about 4-6 different people answering tickets. I've asked 3 different times in last 3 weeks and can tell all different reps because some speak broken english and some are crystal clear. Some say weird things at end, like "Have a Happy Life" lol. I'd ask once a week or so.
