I agree JJG.  I can't get away from the feeling that something big is coming, and it does look more likely that the breakout will be upwards.  I'm fuelled up  Grin

in germany no one thinks like that. it is a well shared general view here that those two ideologies were opposite to each other. and hey, we invented this fuck up, so we should know.. Cheesy

Because ze Germans are now brainwashed and cuckified beyond belief.

We don't need to pander to early bitcoiners. We need squeaky clean fresh ones to pour in.

It is old bitcoiners doing most of the effort of hodling and assuming all the risk of it since day 1.
The harder they hodl and the higher the price goes. We should incite a collective HODL effort periodically instead, like an holy month of HODL when we won't sell.

This is the gorilla in the room.  It turns out Roger Ver is wrong because slightly bigger blocks solves nothing.  Bitcoin would require a full blown LN capacity or it doesn't really have a value proposition.

Everything is fine.

The limited blockspace means just that BTC is supposed to be for serious stuff = perfect for storage of value/asset protection/diversification.
For tips and sh*t there is a thousand alts you can play with.

What is the relation of BTC and Trump compare to price??

It's about expectations and BTC as a refuge asset when the SHTF everywhere (or is expected imminently to do so).

If now many expect that Trump can someway do miracles and fix the mess BTC would have much less appeal compared to a panic on the markets.

Add that the euro is going down the drain maybe even this year and I have great expectation on BTC price starting from the autumn.

edit: here's the usual effect on gold of Inauguration Years Since 1974:

Trump inaugurated, Bitcoin yawns.

During the honey moon about next 6 months I expect the USD to stay strong, then when reality will start sinking in from the third quarter it will get interesting. A time window in the short to medium term for latecomers to accumulate.

Why don't you or zentrade setup an rss or twitter feed to alert us of BTC TA updates? I don't want the whole zentrade rss, just the BTC part.

We are talking about making it big without having to risk your life savings in the process.

That's what the alchemists trying to convert lead in gold wanted too. Then they invented paper money and econometric alchemic formulas, ruining the lives of many generations since then.

But shitcoins are back:

Holding bitcoin long term is a great idea, but we need something else unless you want to wait until you are 70 years old and cant get it up to get rich.

The tricky point of being rich is that only the few can be so.

(edit) For some it comes quite naturally:

Try opening a ticket on our support system, provide any information you can, including your account and IP
you are connecting from, so we can try to understand what kind of problem you are experiencing and fix it.

Thank you
/paci

Today my C.A.T. bot is working properly as usual again on The Rock. And I'm glad to know that there were no issues on your side.

Thanks

There is not TA that can predict the current crash. You think you have shit figured out, then BOOM you wake up with a price crashing in a damn straight line, this is ridiculous.

I'm concluding that the trick is to not chase the price on the way up and not try to catch falling knives on the way down. Just set your orders at your favorite support and resistance levels and one of your plans will be realized, which implies that you can't never go "all in".

Sorry, i read Bitstamp instead of TRT  Cheesy Cheesy

Interesting: Now I tried to close the whole window of TheRock to log out, and now that I try to log in again it gets stuck at the login (where the api keys are inserted). It looks like TheRock either banned me or it's down.

No, my problem is only with TheRockTrading, and started just today. At the same time I have no problems with Vaultoro.
The only thing that appears (many times) in the error log is: "PPM: Force Algo Restart. Last Lookup was .... minutes ago".
I don't see error messages in the General log, but its last row is timed 15 minutes ago.

I even tried to ask to TheRock in case the problem is on their side:

Hi Sampey, today my C.A.T. operating on TheRock seems "sloppy": when I try to refresh a market it never loads it and in the error log I read many: "PPM: Force Algo Restart. Last Lookup was .... minutes ago".

What does it mean? I guess it's a problem with theRock since I have CAT operating on another exchange at the same time with no problem.
Is there anything that I can try to fix this?

I think there are some problems on Bitstamp.
Actually it seems to works. Did you have some error messages in the GENERAL CONSOLE?

God knows how someone who hodls a huge amount is feeling. I have a reasonable amount and it hurts even though I don't trade or plan to sell anytime soon.

Been there, done that a coupla times already in 2013. And hodling through that has been the most profitable thing I ever made in my life.

Hi, this morning my C.A.T. bot don't seems able to refresh the values from your api. Is there an issue on your side?

(edit): now is back working again. It got stuck for a few minutes.
(edit 2): and now it does not work again. At the same my C.A.T. bot is working normally with another exchange, so it seems that something needs a fix on your side.
