Dropped catches are proving costly for Nepal. Pakistan seems to be comfortably cruising towards a score of 350. You cannot ignore any of the three teams Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka because recently there were three ODI matches between Pakistan and Afghanistan where Afghanistan had a great performance in the second match. Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored 151 runs in the opening pair to give 310 runs plus the target but Pakistan's outstanding performance in that match led to a dramatic 1-wicket win in the last over. However, although the batting line of Afghanistan is relatively weak than the batting line of Bangladesh, the bowling line is quite strong.  However, in the case of Sri Lanka, I cannot comment on Sri Lanka as several players are out of the squad due to injuries. Sri Lanka is in no way inferior to Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

Undoubtedly Pakistan is a much better team than Nepal. Playing on their home ground will be another advantage for Pakistan. I hate to say this, but it is worthless to compare Nepal with Pakistan and I still do not know why Nepal was selected for the Asia Cup tournament. The last time that Nepal played with an international team was with Zimbabwe in this year. Unfortunately, they lost by 8 wickets, considering that match it would be a cakewalk for Pakistan tomorrow.

But the match against India is going to take place in Sri Lanka and there are complications related to logistics. Going by the past performances form Nepal, I am not feeling very optimistic. Facing Pakistan, ranked #1 as per the ICC ODI Rankings will be a mundane task for them. But they should take whatever positives that come out of this match.

Pakistan is the same team that got bowled out for 201 runs in the first match of the bilateral series against Afghanistan. They performed well in the next two matches, but inconsistency is a big issue with them. They have some of the world's best batsmen and pace bowlers, but as a result of inconsistency they haven't been winning any major tournaments of late. India's case is similar. The last time they won a major ICC tournament was back in 2011. Asia Cup is organized by the ACC, but even in this tournament they became champions for the last time in 2018.

Pakistan has climbed to the top position in the men's team in the ICC ODI rankings. This achievement by Pakistan before the ICC World Cup will really give a new impetus to the Pakistan team. Very true. One sided matches are usually boring as hell which is why these neck to neck matches are just what viewers require though the T-20 format elevates this excitement to another level.

So today is the third and the last ODI match. As all of you know that Pakistan already won the series with 2-0. And I think that today Pakistan will win the match. And Pakistan will win the series with 3-0. And Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah will show their power today. So let's see who will win?

Afghanistan should have won this match. In recent times, they have lost too many close matches. Losing a match even after scoring more than 300 runs in an ODI match is inexcusable. I would still say that Afghanistan is performing better than Ireland, but if they want to stay relevant in international cricket, then they need to perform better than this. Until that happens, they will be considered as a tier-2 test nation, at a level that is much below weaker full member nations such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and West Indies.

I feel bad for Afghanistan, but the run out by Farooqi wasn't the real meaning of cricket game. These decisions always bring controversy in the cricket. Farooqi has done that to turn the game in their favour, and he was successful on it. But Naseem Shah has changed the momentum of the match again like he did it in the Asia cup of 2022.

After 31 overs, Pakistan's total is 172/2. Opener Fakhar Zaman was dismissed with 30 runs and captain Babar Azam was dismissed with 53 runs. Imam Ul Haque is still unbeaten with 70 runs. He is batting very carefully. Slowly progressing towards the century, at the same time leading the team towards victory.

Pakistan need 129 runs in 19 overs. Is it too difficult a task? I don't think so. Because the Afghanistan players collected 143 runs in the last 19 overs.
