The first match of Asia Cup will be played between Pakistan vs Nepal, the match will start at Multan Cricket Stadium in Pakistan.  Between the two teams we know Pakistan is in better form in this Asia Cup so we can say that Pakistan can win this match against Nepal. The first match of the group will be played tomorrow and we will see a good game between the two teams. If I see betting avoidance where there are many differences between Pakistani and Nepali accordingly I can say that betting for Pakistan is possible to win.

So we cant say that Nepal cant beat Pakistan, technically its possible. I am happy to see Nepal joining the International cricket events and they are only one in this region who are left behind in cricket.

Can't speak for others but I'm more excited about the Asia Cup. Because Asian superpower teams like Pakistan,India will play here. Yes, the first match will be an entertaining match for Pakistan. It will not be wrong to say that Pakistan's victory in this match is 90%. Nepal team is the first participant in this year's Asia Cup and they will never want to lose the first match in their first edition. But they have a strong team like Pakistan in front of them. It remains to be seen how Nepal will handle them. Sometimes the smaller team beats the bigger team. Pakistan will not make any mistakes to give Nepal any chance to win the match. Pakistan will definitely play with this in mind in their next match against India so they won't give Nepal any chance to win.

I don't understand one thing about Asia Cup schedule, there is super 4 match schedule at Lahore on 6 Sep 2023 between A1 vs B2. Now if India was at number 1 position in group A then will they travel to Pakistan for this game or I am missing something? There are 4 matches to be played in Pakistan and all teams less India will visit Pakistan for group stage matches. Its a smart move from PCB that despite shifting Asia Cup to SL they still manage to host all countries at least once.

After watching little news channel and social media sites I am feeling there is no excitement in Pakistan about this event because things are going from bad to worse due to domestic issues so most chances we will have not good fans in grounds as well but if they allow free entry then we can expect good number of fans with first match between Pakistan vs Nepal mostly know how things will be gone in this match even Pakistan is unpredictable side with having history of many shocking results most chances there will be not upset in this match with they just won series against Afghanistan which was better team then Nepal.

But, maybe we will have some excitement in next game which will play between India vs Pakistan in Kandy even things are not favorable for the Pakistan but still some fans can go through for this match I am feeling comfortable as ACC decided to host this event in Sri Lanka because if we have this in Pakistan then surely things could be not as we needed for this event.

Yes.. It was a rain affected match, and Nepal was able to win only because there was a reserve day. More than ten thousand people were in attendance at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground. There were a total of 10 teams participating in the 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup, and out of this only the top team was supposed to qualify. Nepal defeated United Arab Emirates in the final match and thereby secured qualification to the main tournament. The final was very one-sided with UAE getting bowled out for just 117 runs.

The difference between Nepal and teams like UAE and Oman is that Nepal has domestic setup of cricket while Gulf teams are entirely composed of expats. Nepal performance is going up and once they make it to top ten ODI or test teams it will be possible for them to retain there position. It will take time but I am sure Nepal has capacity to be in top ten teams.

Besides qualifying for Nepal's Test matches, being among the top 10 in the ODI format and doing well enough in T20 cricket, they can do all this in a short period of time because their country and their people support their game of cricket a lot and because of the domestic league, every year they  Gets some good quality players. If Nepal spends time and money on cricket then their time and money will not go in vain as Nepalese cricketers are talented enough. Sandeep Lamichhane is a talented cricketer who has experience playing in big tournaments like IPL. If Nepal can organize regular bilateral series then this team will move up in the ranking.

Babar Azam, Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, Faqar Zaman are the best players of Pakistan team but compared to them, Nepal team has no strong players. And I bet for Pakistan I definitely want Pakistan to win today. Pakistan team's bowling point is stronger than Nepal's so in any aspect Pakistan is ahead today. If both the teams can defend the wicket till the end, it will surely give the visitors a game full of competition.

Don't use terms such as "definitely" while dealing with the Pakistani team. They are perhaps the most inconsistent among the full member nations. If it was India or Sri Lanka, then I would have said that there is zero chance for a win by Nepal. But then we are dealing with Pakistan. 99% chance that they would win, but since Pakistan is the opponent, there is a 1% chance that Nepal would win. Don't forget the first match against Afghanistan, where they got bowled out for 201 (and that too against a second-string Afghan side).

If this tournament was played with the T20 format then any of these two team could have won. As the tournament is being played in ODI format Pakistan has the upper edge. They are the number one team in this format defeating big names like Australia and India. I also believe Pakistan are the favourite to win this year's Asia Cup. Srilanka could trouble them as they are very good in their home ground. India still has big issue with their middle order. On paper Indian team looks good but the middle order has been batting very bad for sometime now.

To be honest India and Pakistan teams looking very strong. I don’t know about the hype of today’s match between Pak and Nepal, but on 2nd of September, it will be a high thriller match between India and Pakistan. Nepal have surely shown positive attitude and hence will be taking part in the Asia Cup for the first time. But still it’s clearly visible that between Pakistan and Nepal’s match, Pakistan will get easy victory against the team. Moreover Srilanka and Bangladesh will also give equal fight. At this time Ceremony started in Multan Cricket Stadium and the toss was also done, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat. That is a very good thing for Pakistan to choose batting according to the pitch of Mulan Cricket Stadium and Pakistan doesn't take Nepal lightly.

Pakistan's two wicket loss puts the team under a lot of pressure. Fakhar Zaman and Imam-ul-Haq, the opening two batsmen, were out, putting the team under a lot of pressure. Especially Karan KC of Nepal team saw the best bowling performance. In this way, if the Pakistan team continues to lose wickets, then there is a possibility of losing in the last stage. Fakhar Zaman could have not over pressured but he should have waited given the speed the ball was swinging. The second wicket was given out under too much pressure and Pakistan could not have done better if they had been patient on the field.
