Pakistan won the series of Pakistan vs Afghanistan and now, Pakistan is the No.1 team in the ODI. Asia Cup and ICC ODI Mens World Cup are coming and Pakistan is the No.1 ODI team, Babar Azam is the no.1 ODI batsman so, Pakistan has a chance to win the World Cup, but at the same time, no one can tell that this is a winner because another team is also amazing and best team.

I found the second ODI match between Afghanistan and Pakistan very exciting and it was difficult to predict which team would win. A dramatic last over saw Pakistan win by one wicket in the end. However, Pakistan has boosted itself in the Asia Cup and ICC ODI World Cup by whitewashing Afghanistan.

Not expecting them to improve drastically as far as their batting lineup is concerned. For some reason, they are only producing world class spinners and it also hampers their chances as they heavily rely on spin only.

You need a fair amount of batters and a couple of good fast bowlers in the mix for a better combination, if not then they will remain the same underdog team and in a decade or so become like Bangladesh.

No doubt thats a big achievement but problem with Pakistan team is consistency. Even in there series against Afghanistan, they were almost knocked out in 2nd ODI. Although Pakistan is ranked number one ODI side still they are unpredictable for Asia and World Cup. Pakistan need to work hard to bring consistency in there performance like Australia and England.

Lol. You are clearly a hardcore Pakistan fan. They did win all matches, but they struggled quite a bit in some of them. Afghanistan actually looked like they could win at certain points in some matches.

Although the target was not big in the first match, they won by a huge margin. The second match was very competitive. But in the last match we saw the dominance of Pakistan again. Pakistan's batsmen are capable of performing well on bowling friendly pitches. The team has several experienced and talented batsmen. A few days ago, the team depended on the performance of Babar and Rizwan. But now why Pakistan team is not dependent on the performance of certain batsmen. Maybe you are right in your statics, but I have completely different view about this because recently we have no improvement in few teams from Asia like Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and now Afghanistan even they are going down in quality with batting with recent series against Pakistan give us all story of Afghani batting how unpredictable and poor they are in shots selections with they need to work on field as well because this is also big disappointment for them, I watch they drop many dolly catches as well.

Bangladesh is also having crises, and they will be also not good as we need them after long time and just read about Sri Lanka they are also facing some issues while their few players are out with injuries and other problems then again we have left only two teams India and Pakistan which can do good, but upset is possible as we have last time in the UAE as it is beauty of this game while we are having this in Asia.

Pakistan is world class team they have the ability to beat every team in the world. I agreed with the Pakistan team consistency issue but after Babar Azam captain Pakistan played in the TWC 2021 Semi final and CWC 2022 Final because they played like a United. I think Pakistan has only a Spin bowling issue In Sirlinka where the Asia cup played pitches are made according to spin bowling attack Pakistan team does not have good spineer but they have the best pace bowlers attack in the world. If Pakistan focus on Middle Order and Spin bowling attack then surely pakistan will win this Asia cup and as well as the ODI CWC 2023
