781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: July 02, 2017, 02:55:26 PM
I read earlier on the forums that Bit.ac is now officially supporting Iconomi, some people may be interested in using it. I don't know why, but the website is currently down for some reasons so you will need to wait until It's up again. I still prefer Myetherwallet as It's open source, simple to use, better looking and we actually have control over our private keys.
782  Other / Meta / Busy, try again (504) on: July 02, 2017, 02:12:48 PM
I keep getting this error for the past week or two now. I don't know If it's a DDOS again:

Code:
Busy, try again (504)

The server seems to be overloaded right now. Please try again in a little while.

If you are getting this error while trying to post something, press the reload/refresh button in your browser and accept the browser warning.
Keep doing this until you get a non-error page, at which point your post will be made. Leave at least a few seconds between each attempt.

It is normal for this error to occur every once in a while. There is generally no need to report it.
However, if you get this error so often that it becomes especially disruptive, post to the Meta section of the forum about it.

504 via gate76

As I said, I'm getting this often so I'm reporting it as mentioned on the error message.
783  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Sharebit: (Secure BitCoin) Offline Peer to Peer Electronic Cash System on: June 27, 2017, 09:33:21 AM
Successfully after 2 Years SecureBitcoin is launching with solodynamic encryption system

Two years is a long period of time to make a copy of bitcoin with simply a new features, don't you think? Using the "pre-order" word make it look like you are selling a phone or a game before launch. If you needed the funds two years ago, you had to launch an ICO but I doubt It would result into successful funding because I can't even find the whitepaper.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: June 26, 2017, 06:25:00 PM
Hi it's my first post, how can I get early access to the platform? I'm a whale I bought at $1 and I'm ready to buy a lot of ICNX (tens of thousands), but I don't want to wait. I wasn't part of the beta.

If you didn't ask for the beta access using the google form and you didn't invest on the ICO, you will have to wait. I believe that the platform will officially launch on 1st August (could a little bit earlier). You still can invest in ICN right now from exchanges like Kraken or Liqui.io though.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: On this week Ethereum down almost 30% on: June 26, 2017, 05:57:38 PM
This didn't affect ethereum only but most of the altcoins, bitcoin decreased a little bit as well but It totally make sense, the dominance of bitcoin increased however. The funny thing now is to look at all Ethereum supporters who was predecting a market flippening where all bitcoin users would switch to Ether instead, I believe the network issues that ether has killed their plans and predictions.
786  Other / Meta / Re: HOW TO INSERT COUNTDOWN I BITCOINTALK THREAD on: June 26, 2017, 11:45:31 AM
You can't do that using most of the services, you need to find a service that has the ability to create a .gif from the given date and then you integrate it using the img tags like this:

Code:
[img]https://seanja.com/secret/countdown/gif.php?time=2017-08-01[/img]

If you want to use the same site I just used, you change the date at the end of the URL and you are good to go. The output:

787  Economy / Exchanges / Re: List of bitcoin debit cards on: June 24, 2017, 03:12:59 PM
What's going on with Paycent.io? It's pretty much empty, there is no longer the option to ask for the early access and no links at all except the one where you could see the fees and when you click it, It says gives a 404 page not found error, the project has been cancelled?
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ICONOMI - Digital Assets Management Platform on: June 24, 2017, 01:53:05 PM
The decision they made to change from dividends to buyback program is probably the best decision they have ever made. Let's hope the platform launch before 1st august as It's still unclear whether bitcoin is going to survive after that date or not and that could have a bad effect on the platform.
789  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've decided to share my knowledge and would greatly appreciate your thoughts on: June 24, 2017, 11:20:57 AM
I like the idea, just make sure your site is SEO friendly so It shows up in the search engines and submit it in social media from time to time. I still think you should give more options when it comes to the wallets, Desktop wallets: Multibit HD, Exodus. Hardware wallets: Trezor, Ledger Nano S, KeepKey. You also can't mention phone wallets without mentioning Mycelium.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think is the best choice? on: June 24, 2017, 09:07:00 AM
The value of the coin really depends on the supply usually so you can't really get something cheap If the supply is pretty limited. You have CoinMarketCap to choose from but If I were you, I'd go with Dash or Monero and as for accepting the payments you can use CoinPayments which can also be integrated with CMS like Wordpress with no effort at all. It doesn't hurt to use ShapeShift.io as well, If you want to accept as much coins as possible.
791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS] Google Bought Blockchain.info on: June 24, 2017, 07:28:27 AM
I still don't see how these investors will have profit? Blockchain.info only offers free services, and apart from placing some ads, I don't see how they will be generating any income, hopefully the the money will help them to make their wallet and API better because It's only getting worst over the years.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 💎[ANN][PING] CryptoPing: Altcoin Intelligence Bot | >30k users | ICO 25.05.2017 on: June 23, 2017, 07:06:22 PM
The thread says that after the ICO ends, subscriptions could be paid using PING, Bitcoin or alts while the site says It will be in PING only. It won't make much sense If it's the first case as there is no reason on why someone would buy PING after the ICO and that will result in a zero demand which gives us a worthless coin.
793  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Cant import private key. on: June 23, 2017, 04:44:27 PM
I have wallet in blockchain.info.I am trying to import it to electrum. But When import the private key i get a address other than my address and there is no bitcoin in it.Any help with it?

How you exported the private keys from Blockchain.info? If the keys are old, It's possible that you moved them to the HD wallet at some point. If the funds are in the HD wallet indeed (one of It addresses) then you must follow this tutorial to export the private keys. I doubt this problem is coming from electrum, It wouldn't make sense to generate another address expect the correct one from a private key.
794  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10,000 per bitcoin on: June 23, 2017, 03:08:40 PM
10,000$ is not impossible to achieve but when? I don't think we will see it anytime soon, we are currently finding hard times to go to 3000$ so 10k is a little bit unrealistic at the moment. Bitcoin regulation could definitely boost the price a little bit but we will never have a lot of demand until people know for sure that their money is safe, this is only achievable by putting the bitcoin scaling proposals behind us,"chain split" isn't something someone would like to read.
795  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ledgerwallet shipping on: June 23, 2017, 02:31:48 PM
Where did you get the idea that its not as secure? I dont think thats accurate unless there was a security flaw that was exposed that I missed.

It's not that are not secure, It's simply they are not 'that' secure compared to Ledger nano S, I'm not speaking from experience but from what I've seen from different individual speaking about this subject on Reddit.

For just a bit of premium over the original price, many are selling at ebay. They are selling the oldest and cheapest ledger wallet but better than nothing and you do not need to wait that much, just the shipping time from the seller.

I prefer buying from the company it self or from their official re-sellers because you can't really know for sure If someone did something to the device that could get your funds compromised at some point when you are buying from an individual.
796  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 【Bitcoin Debit Card UQUID】 No ID Required |Multi Cards Buy Supported | 0% Fees on: June 23, 2017, 12:45:52 PM
I know that there is some money laundering law or something that is coming on 26th June. I just helped funding a project at KickStarter.com but they will only charge the amount (99$) when the project is fully funded on July 24 at 3:00 am. Is my card going to work at that date? assuming that the card will be loaded with 200 USD on that date with level 1 verification.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: June 23, 2017, 11:12:56 AM
How i see that token is in my wallet?
MyEtherWallet need to add custom token?

You can only see the tokens after they are distributed. If they are (I believe they are not), then you should add the contract address given by them to Myetherwallet and you are ready to go, you only need to do this once as Myetherwallet will remember the changes you made to your wallet.
798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ether wallet can store other altcoins as well..i dont understand on: June 23, 2017, 10:49:17 AM
These tokens are based on Ethereum-Blockchain and that's why you could store them in Ether address. Bitcoin for example have a few tokens like Tether.to (USDT), MaidSafeCoins etc. The reason why Ether have so many coins is simply because It was created for that purpose and It has smart contracts that could automate things.
799  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin debit card on: June 23, 2017, 09:40:14 AM
what vcc's would you offer that could be linked with pp?

If they are still working with the same banks as before then the Visa card could be linked as I already did it at some point and then removed it. I think you may want to find another alternative though, the fees on Wirexapp are no longer competitive with other services, Its the highest.
800  Other / Meta / Re: Forum ranks/positions/badges (What do those shiny coins under my name mean?) on: June 23, 2017, 08:25:43 AM
Why the 14 points per two weeks though? It really shouldn't take over a month to get the rights to properly embed images. Especially if you're just contributing to a specific coin and therefore do not post in other threads..

I like to believe that this was carefully designed, If It was too easy to rank up, everyone would make multiple accounts and enroll into signature campaigns and start spamming, this is also valid for the giveaways on the game & rounds section. It also takes time for people to reach Hero member so It could be taken as a sign of trust while no one would really trade with a newbie.
