781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin never goes past 5-10KUSD again, what is the best action? on: November 23, 2019, 09:52:14 AM
This is my first post in a long time, I lost my other BCT.org account and had to make a new one. I sold a few ASICS from BITSHIT (you know the company) after they screwed the mining market and havent touched my wallets in a long time. I recently checked Binance for the first time in two years, and see that Bitcoin is around 9K. Now it's down to 7. I am not here to FUD, I am here to beg the question: If Bitcoin never goes past 10KUSD again, and rallies up and down between 5-10K, what is the best course of action? Knowing (believing) the circumstances of never getting a moon mission again, what is firstly the community reaction? Second, will this affect Cryptocurrency adoption? Will this hinder or accelerate Crypto?

Sorry if this seems like such a silly hypothetical, but if it remains consist for the next 5-20 years then it is important to take into account Bitcoin and subsequently other Cryptos will never rally to the moon again like back in 2017 anytime soon. What is the best course of action to take here?
I will not do anything if dumps keep happen. I mean if you not buy it yet, wait for lowest price and usually it will stable for a while. After that, you can take any action like to buy it again if you still believe. And same thing that i do when i already bought bitcoin, because will be hurt if i cut lose it. Better to do same thing, and then trade in low price and try to get capital back.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have control or not? on: November 22, 2019, 02:05:30 PM
Can you consciously and willingly stop gambling at any time?
If you can do the above, you have great control and discipline, of course you are not an addict and you deserve to gamble as much as you want.
If not, clarify your ways of stopping gambling.
I am not addicted yet (which i am really grateful for it) so i can stop gambling anytime i want. But for someone who addicted, not easy like how we say it. Because although a little, feel how much they want to play will always come. And proven that some of them really need expert to make their addiction gone. Maybe if people in here, some of you all not addicted yet, better to keep to learn control your emotion in gambling.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 21, 2019, 03:17:02 PM

If bitcoin really reach 100k, maybe altcoins will be filtered more. So, like what you said about real product of altcoin will make them survived or at least still have value in market. But, 100k is very high for bitcoin price, maybe take longer time to reached. So, for now no need to worry when we want to invest in altcoins.
IMO the price increase offers a new opportunity for more altcoins to survive. What you say is more appropriate for the bad situation of market so, in bad situations investors become much more picky.
To speculate, we should see on both side. Good and maybe worst situation. So people will more aware with it and be prepared. If only good things, and then read by people who easily believe, they will easily affected too. For me, in speculation thread usually i will predict something like best and worst thing that can possibily happen.
784  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT HAPPENS IF BTC TOUCHES 100K ? on: November 20, 2019, 04:56:29 PM
No die basically every altcoin must have bitcoin for their shares and when bitcoin reaches ATH then altcoin is able to maintain its existence and be able compete in prices to grow the market ,altcoin that is unable to die maybe a cycle is repeated but the difference in real products will flourish later so that growth the higher crypto market I think bitcoin and altcoin will be the best asset in the future

785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoins or Bitcoin? on: November 20, 2019, 08:42:36 AM
Or do you support holding multiple crypto coin holding?

This type of survey question or thread has been around and you have an idea where majority will tilt towards  Grin. For my own position, I believe multiple hodling is better because any potential use case coin has a time of bull.

Based on my own understanding, bitcoin is greater than altcoins so i will choose 100% bitcoin to manipulate. Holding multiple cryptocurrency is very hassle and stressful. And some of the altcoins are not certain and is growing slowly such that the bitcoin is more dominant and will become more worth it to hold.

Majority of the people chose bitcoin because it is so obvious that bitcoin is much essential and popular.

Bitcoin is best option if people not want to speculate much in a coins. And every strategy must need research first if want to invest either in bitcoin or other altcoin. But i am agree with you if not want to think more, i mean like do very deep research or maybe afraid to lose more in altcoin, move 100% assets to bitcoin is a good idea.
786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think all crypto is scam on: November 19, 2019, 04:32:32 PM
Don't forget if bitcoin is cryptocurrency too. I think generalized all crypto only because of new project is not a good thing. Other coins proven that can give benefit for people too like bitcoin and Ethereum. If trapped to scam project, so it means we not analyze it deeply and i think learn and make more research is better than make conclusion only because of that reason.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: November 19, 2019, 05:14:54 AM
I like gambling with crypto but the last I checked the anonymous was not only the reason some people chose to use the crypto gambling site because there is still some crypto gambling site that requires KYC from their customers when huge winning or withdraws is involved and people still use them.
I think the major reason why people choose the crypto gambling site is the ease of gambling and almost instant withdraw despite the cheap transaction fee.

one of the things I like gambling to use crypto is anonymous, because if gambling using fiat in my country is too dangerous, I could go to jail. on the other hand, the ease of using crypto is very instant, like when I gamble on DirectBet. yes I do not like it, currently there are so many kyc systems in the crypto world, whereas initially I used crypto because it was anonymous.
If the purpose why you use crypto gambling site is because of the anonymity, i will advice you to know the site youre going to use very well because sport gambling site require KYC from customer at some point and the part of you going to jail because you gamble make me believe gambling is illegal in your country and if that's the case i will advice you stay away from gambling so you won't have problems with the law.
Yes, not like a few years ago, I still enjoy playing gambling without Kyc system, but after using Kyc system, I don't play gambling anymore.
but why do they have to know our identity? I'm afraid my data will leak and be reported to the authorities.
Maybe because in some countries, their people not allowed to play gambling. For example, in some gambling sites they said that people from country A, B , C , D restricted to play in their sites. Maybe with that they avoid problem that can come when people from that countries play in their sites. But actual reason, is they who know, we can only speculate in here. But for me, there are a lot of other site that not ask their users to do KYC. So i will play in that sites, for now i use Sportsbet.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Halving Effect??? on: November 12, 2019, 04:42:38 AM
I'm still a newbie and I'm confused.

Bitcoin halving is expected in May, 2020. From what I've been reading about halving, it seems that it should have a positive effect on any crypto coins pricing.

Today I read about Litecoin/LTC halving on August 5, 2019 and the halving effect after three months is negative, it's down 30% since the halving.

Is that also what can be expected of the Bitcoin halving?

I think it is all depends on the coin. Halving or maybe hardfork or other maintenance sometime affect to price of a coin. But developer must also think how can the coin still make demands. So people can interested to buy it and then make price increased. Like bitcoin which already popular, people already wait for it and then they start to buy the coin which can cause pump.
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Few Bold bounty hunters still walks among us on: November 12, 2019, 03:35:45 AM
Some bounty hunters still hold on to their tokens even when every thing looks not so good for crypto, through successful bounty spreadsheets some bounty hunters still keep their tokens for example gowithmi, why? Do you think they are doing the wrong thing? Will they regret later?
It is better for now, when i can sell token from bounty although price not really good. As long it not far with ICO price, i will sell it. Hold token for a longer time only cause the token will be something that to be collection in our wallet and price will be very low. I regret hold some of my tokens and not sell it in market when i can sell it.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: November 11, 2019, 06:56:42 PM
1. Take your eye off too good offers, your attention is needed thats why they are good.
2. Use more than one wallet, even if it managed to get hacked you won't be losing your entire coins and tokens
3. Email has become a big target for hackers and scammers, be careful which links you click in your email

That is the main trick used by scammers. Make big offers that will drive people crazy. They even lose their sense of thinking and understanding after coming across such unreal offers and even if they wont believe, they are going to give it a shot as there is nothing wrong with trying. Scammers are not that good at hacking wallets, even not with methods like brute forcing. And like you said, do not enter the territory that is unknown.
For email, this is what people most mistake. They use 1 email to use in main wallet and then other account. I think it is necessary if use 2 emails and 1 for main and the other one is to share in crypto world or maybe in bounty/airdrop. With that, our main email wouldn't easily reveal and not targeted by scammer easily.
791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 10, 2019, 06:05:30 PM
I think most of the new traders are just attracted because of the possible profits and not with the passion on trading. They think its a good vehicle to get rich quick even with when they have zero knowledge about basic trading. Some think its easy because of the “buy low, sell high” sounds easy but its not, theres more than that phrase.

There are articles our there that says 96% of traders lose their money due to bad trade. That means out of 10, theres only 1 who are successful. I wonder how the study are made since not everyone are open to discuss their trade, most will just keep it by them selves.
And that is another problem, one basic advice that most of us have received at one time is to do what we love and the reason behind it is obvious you will have a tendency to be better at what you love simply because you will dedicate more time and effort to it since it is not only a way to make money to you but your passion, but if you do not like an activity then you will not do the same and you will never be as good.

In this market it is easy to see many traders that only care about making profits but they are not interested in the process of generating those profits, like studying different trading methods, reading books and testing their strategies, and without that you cannot be successful.
For them, buy sell and hold is already enough to make profit. That is why not much new traders who can actually analyze market and then trading with their skill. Even to pick a coin to buy, they rely on luck. And for now a lot of people really confident with that way of trading, and then blame bitcoin when they lose.
792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How many ICO and IEO are you already following? on: November 10, 2019, 10:49:23 AM
Today I've decided to sell my car to invest in IEO or ICO.
Is my decision right?
Is it with a lot of investing in IEO can refund my money?
I think it is not worth for now, a lot of ICO and IEO always end with people and their losses. If want to make investment, maybe in bitcoin or coin that already have good reputation. Maybe speculate in ICO is good for some people, but risk behind it is big too.
your statement opposites each other.
Quote
a lot of ICO and IEO always end with people and their losses.
Quote
Maybe speculate in ICO is good for some people,
if the ICO and IEO always end with lose, so why speculate in ICO is good, it looks annoying

To me, IEO from binance FTW
Ah, what i means is for some people. Because yeah we know some people maybe can get profit from IEO and ICO, but not all people can do it. It is like something that not fit for everyone, but for some people. Because not resist out there some of people can get profit with it. Like not for all, but only for some people. Sorry if i make you confused.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Impact on gambling on: November 09, 2019, 11:21:49 PM
Mostly which affect in gambling is lucky. I think gambling is game when you are rely on your skills, and luck. Although have much money, if you not luck with a little percent win,you still can lose if not luck. For me, anything that you do in gambling, if not luck you can't win easily.

795  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy Bitcoin? on: November 09, 2019, 11:07:18 AM
I think buying bitcoin or not all depends on the research we do. if we are sure that bitcoin will pump again then don't delay buying immediately. but if we feel bitcoin can drop even lower then wait. do the research seriously and be sure of the decisions that have been taken. and do not ever regret the decision that has been taken. before entering the bitcoin market we must know that the price of bitcoin is very volatile and unpredictable. all possibilities can occur. in investing bitcoin we must be patient and not easily panic.
A lot of things must be concerned before we make investment especially on bitcoin price. Although we already research, market condition must be looked carefully. Because all research sometime still not help if market still on high price. Research and right time needed in this kind of investment.
796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yobit Airdrop on: November 08, 2019, 11:59:15 PM
I think maybe almost like their other freecoins for people. And usually it is not really worth in value. If i get email like that, i will ignore it because the value wouldn't enough if i claim it. But maybe OP already wear Yobit signature, so just focus on it.
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best bounty manager on: November 08, 2019, 11:42:19 PM
If you are to give a highest rating to a bounty manager who would that be? the top one on my very list is @bubbalex, why? because even when bounty ends this bounty manager still follows all the projects he managed and when any new updates occurs he still spread the news for his bounty hunters

And moreover this guy never tampered with bounty rules, once no KYC will always remained no KYC, so what about you guys?
I joined some of Sylon's bounty, and i think he is the best. Why ? Because when some bounties tied us in their bounty campaign, like can't remove signature before certain time. Sylon let their participants to remove their signature code as long they tell sylon in bounty thread. And we wouldn't lose stake that we already collected. Sometime we feel a bounty campaign not really good for us after we joined and want to change to another project right?
798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to learn bitcoin trading? on: November 08, 2019, 06:56:32 AM
I have invested in bitcoin, and i would like to learn about trading bitcoin to hopefully maximize both my current and future investments.

Since i am completely new to the world of crypto i would appreciate it if more knowledgable people have any good resources or tips to share. Both for (hopefully) profiting from trading, and for practical tips on how to reduce fees, maximize security in a practical manner and anything else that is necessary and/or helpful in my quest to accumulate bitcoin.
I think a lot ot of source that you can use to learn about trading. This forum, youtube, or maybe you can google it how to trading, how to make analysis, how to read chart. I think a lot of information already can be searched in google.
799  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone else remember this? on: November 07, 2019, 06:02:35 PM
I think something like that only happen in here,  Grin actually it is right. Some company said need  employee who already experienced. Then fresh graduate never get any chance. And then people who to be fresh graduate don't have any choice except working via internet and now there are a lot of thing that can help us earn money from internet. Maybe in future, that companies will know what to be their big mistakes for underestimate fresh graduate.
Ill experience that also in some company that I apply for a job so Im a fresh graduate first find a job but i'm failed to apply cause of need a man have more experience than me. So what i did to do is using internet find a way how to earn money, But now I'm the one pay bills from my brother in school. And i ask my self also that do not underestimate on what it looks or if is a fresh graduate they have a long way to learn and more helpful in the company.
I think although you earn money from internet, no one know how long it will last. Actually i don't know for now you already have real job beside earn from internet or not, but if you don't have yet, it is worth to look real job so at least you have experience in a company in case internet can't give much more.
