782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [CVC] CIVIC Tokensale :: 21 June on: June 21, 2017, 08:33:06 AM
I'm not sure what's mean of the Whitepaper Page 15, section 6 :

6. Risks Associated with Markets for Tokens
The Tokens are intended to be used solely within the Ecosystem and the Company will
not support or otherwise facilitate any secondary trading or external valuation of Tokens. This
restricts the contemplated avenues for using Tokens to the provision or receipt of Services, and
could therefore create illiquidity risk with respect to any Tokens you own. Even if secondary
trading of Tokens is facilitated by third-party exchanges, such exchanges may be relatively new
and subject to little or no regulatory oversight, making them more susceptible to fraud or
manipulation. Furthermore, to the extent that third parties do ascribe an external exchange value
to Tokens (e.g., as denominated in a digital or fiat currency), such value may be extremely
volatile and diminish to zero.

Does this mean the Civic has no plan to let token to trade on market?  It can only be used in Civic Ecosystem?

Can we get an answer for this please?
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: June 20, 2017, 06:39:47 PM
Hello Guys,

If we are logic, so data projection provided by TENX look a bit strange.
In accordance with TENX white paper page 35 ( Month road map):
They believe to have +50M USERS en 2020.
In fact We are a around 7 Billions people on the planet.
So by a simple calcul If you divise 7billions per 50M users : 140. So that's mean every 140 persons 1 person will use TENX service payment in 2020.
Serioulsly.. Do you really think 1 second it's possible..?? Unfortunatly my answser is NO! even 5 Millions users in 2020 will be difficult to reach.
I would like to know how TENX can have these data projection?? It is look like unrealistic..
Again I love this project, but clearly something is wrong here..

Thanx for your analysis. Just because it looks unrealistic to you, does not mean it is unrealistic for us. We strongly believe that crypto will explode in popularity in general and so 50m users will be within reach over the next 5 years. While I respect your opinion, I have learned to never let someone with small thinking keep me from thinking big. So, let's see who will be right :-)
im in this crypto world since 2011 and never gonna use crypto in my daily life Smiley

Why not?

Depending on the rate they use this would be easy way to cash out with 1:1 rates.

Something that I did not understand - so you have a working product but will we be able to order debit cards from you guys after the ICO is over?
789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX [ICO] end of June: making Blockchain assets spendable on: June 20, 2017, 10:12:49 AM
I am highly impress Smiley .K a few noob questions .More to remain me to invest on the 24 otherwise i will forget.   .Can the card be use at  a atm to get fiat cash directly and what will the fees be ?I did not see any example of this in your videos .Also will all coins automatically be converted to Tenx coins are will separate wallets(bitcoin Dash) be maintain like in your video .That is a bit concerning since if there no need of TenX coins  per say to use your debitcard wouldn't they be pretty much worthless ?I would prefer all coins having to be converted to TenX coins to give the coin some value.

Hopefully somebody can put my concern to ease before the 24 .Dont what to be stuck with Coins that have no value if people can use there debit card without even using then

`

The fee from TenX for ATM withdrawals is $2.75 USD.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: June 20, 2017, 08:45:56 AM
What do you, guys, think regarding similar project FirstBlood (1ST).
1 year passed after their ICO. Still nothing working introduced.
But the price started to rocket...

Head to head betting will be released this year Q3 or Q4 so we'll have a working product.
791  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy BTC at one exchange, sell it more expensive at another? on: June 19, 2017, 07:56:45 PM
Calculate the fees, the waiting time for confirmation and see yourself.
Or just do it and see yourself if it is possible.

793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about TenX ICO ? on: June 19, 2017, 04:02:35 PM
Hi guys,

So this month we had and will have more ICOs coming. So what are your views about TenX ICO strutucre ?
Connecting all blockchains together etc.. but isnt there any other projects already doing this ? Tokencard ? Cosmos ?
Then why should someone invest in TenX ? Any views ?

What is TenX i have never heard of it?
Same I've never heard about this coin , can OP thier Ann so we can visit and read the white paper if it's the same with token card I don't see any reason why I will invest in it.

Does Tokencard have working product?
TenX has and you should be able to order a TenX card after the ICO is over. At least thats what I understood.
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETTING SITES TO AVOID on: June 19, 2017, 04:00:07 PM
Asking for ID after you win a decent amount is shitty af. Even when I send my ID some websites still require more information and it becomes pretty annoying to deal with them. Thats why I check every gambling site before I start playing there now.

FanoBet also asks you for ID after you win a nice amount and try to withdraw.

Really? I never encountered online bitcoin casino sites that require ID for their players. But maybe I am wrong because I never won that big bitcoin before but I don't really think so. I have friends on primedice that earn lots there but they are not required an ID to withdraw. Maybe you are playing with online casinos that require fiat money to bet.

I am talking about betting, not casino.
Fanobet has option to deposit BTC but if you win a bigger amount they'll refuse to withdraw your money until you send them ID and sometimes they want to be even more annoying by requiring you to send them a picture of your ID with a note saying fanobet n some sh*t.
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: June 19, 2017, 03:57:46 PM
Are there any?
Dice is more like pure luck to me.
Unless you are the guy who found vulnerability in Primedice's website and got $1 million BTC from them. Now thats a nice strategy lmao.

Hope that WGR will be $50 when hit exchange Smiley

Keep dreaming, they don't even have a working product yet. Once they have tho, then the fun will begin.

798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] Primalbase: Distributed Workspace for Tech Community - June 26 on: June 19, 2017, 03:52:54 PM
There is too much demand. Do you think to change the amount of tokens and hard cap? As i see people would like to buy it but looks like just a few people will got it. Or maybe a rule like a person could buy max 10 tokens.

Most people here are just showing interests. I doubt that the people here telling that they are going to buy at the start of crowdsale will really do so. Most investors came outside of bitcointalk since there are very few people here that actually has the money to invest. Even when they did, the amount would be not so significant.

There's no point putting a maximum of 10 tokens per person. Everyone's pseudonymous. Putting a cap will just discourage big players since they would have to create multiple accounts in order to buy large amounts. It's such a hassle on their part. Plus, don't say that they are going to have to confirm their identity as a person so they could put a max of 10 tokens per person. That's absurd since even bitcoin that has been here the longest never asked for our identity.

At the current state most people won't have use of the coin.
Only 1 hub working and its in London. Primalbase just needs to open more hubs but for that it needs financing...
