781  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: January 26, 2015, 12:17:03 PM
You are right... BUT if you get that continuosly at the MAX bet. {Think it's 100 000 bits} might be even higher now, you will show a good profit.

If you hit the dreaded 0x or 1x your profits will be down the drain in 1 bet.  Wink / Play around with different strategies, and vary your exit strategy to maximize your profits.

It stays a gamble and it's very addictive, but FUN.  Wink

in that case, I am sticking to 2.2x, lol.
782  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: January 26, 2015, 11:59:12 AM
i just played on moenypot, it is fair and like fun,

tat is fantastic news you are lucky person, mostly i check out at 1.32X.
moneypot is nice social gambling site.

At 1.32X, I don't think you can make a good return. correct me if I am wrong?

I think the only way to scam is running with the funds... Provably fair covers many trust issues.

one way to reduce chances of the OP with running away with your hard earn btc is to use a trusted escrow to hold the funds.
788  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: WeeklyPonzi.com 'v3' | 100% Automated | Secure | 130% Return | 700+ BTC Invested on: January 26, 2015, 11:47:30 AM
We are just stuck at the 1.3 BTC. Come on guys (and girls), invest in it. There's still four more days to go.
I lost 2 btc with this OP. stop sending your hard earn btc here....come on.  Shocked
789  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: How can we create a provably fair Ponzi Game ? on: January 26, 2015, 11:46:20 AM
And you need a trusted escrow to hold the funds. That acts like an insurance.

792  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com -- The Social Gambling Game on: January 26, 2015, 11:30:40 AM
Yeah, that is fair. It just seems like a ghost town sometimes. Honestly, i have nothing against adding altcoins, just don't see the purpose of it. Seems like it would not be worth the time.

I see people chatting now. Somebody wants Ryan to change the white background.  Grin
793  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - 165BTC max payout! New updated website + promos on: January 26, 2015, 11:29:29 AM
I give up, still cannot save my emergency btc add and the QR code is invalid.

Tried to add the 2FA with Authy and Google Authenticator but an error pops up: QR code is invalid.
me too having same error there Huh Huh
hope admin will solve it soon.

I'll look into this. Does it work if you enter the code manually instead of scanning the image?

still not working, I am on Chrome Version 40.0.2214.91 m and also did a refresh.
794  Economy / Gambling / Re: FlukyBet.com WIN 135% of your bet, 75+ % of players WIN [3rd Party escrow used] on: January 26, 2015, 09:44:40 AM
Wait, so payout doesn't follow the deposit order ?

It's more akin to a lottery.

I used to lose a lot at ponzis as I could never deposit early (did not have bots), so I think this method is better.

Quote
The system is proven to be fair, to select the random number that determines the order of the payouts, the 13th,14th,15th and 16th character of the deposit TX is used
Example:
TX  0278d4300340724eb37a623089c3398fdaeb34e6a00057f4837c9d3833af5dbf
Would generate this 4 hexadecimal digits
4eb3
So that's 20147 decimal that would be your order number.
Ordered by that method, every user is paid out 135% of your bet until no more funds are available (The pool will be 98% of all deposits, the rest is for the escrow service and site fees), that would make around 75% of the players winners, also the first one to lose receives the remaining of the balance as a consolation price.

Fluky did say this earlier too:

I don't really see the advantage in him doing that to be honest, moneypot already isnt that popular and it uses bitcoin.

I don't have any plans on adding any altcoins, but Money Pot is likely more popular than you imagine. The chat is often dead or Indonesian, but right now there's 88 connections to the game, from about 40 players and weekly wagered is actually higher than both PRC and DiceBit.me. Of course the house margin is considerably lower than both of theirs, so people can play a lot more with the same amount of money. (So maybe a better measure of popularity is the weekly EV of the casino, in which case they'd both be quite a bit higher than MP)

Ryan, I told this OP to give you an A+ for Trustworthiness, good job so far.

MoneyPot: Overall Rating A-
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: A+
Description: MoneyPot is a Bitcoin Gambling Website which brings a new concept to the table, where the multiplier is continuously rising and you have to cash out before it crashes and you lose your money. It's a concept which is definitely unique and great fun. The website seems decently trusted in the community, though its Bitcointalk thread doesn't have a massive amount of activity. It also lacks a bit on promotions, though it does offer a faucet. However, it's still great fun.

I would give MoneyPot (Ryan) an A+ for Trustworthiness.
He returned some losing bets on the 21 Jan 2015, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=709185.msg10228052#msg10228052
