789  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin can I mine? on: June 17, 2016, 12:39:59 AM
You can mine some CPU coins but it's will NOT PROFITABLE for sure...
Since CPU coins are not profitable at all.
Better do oother stuff with this. You can run NODES or try to use it like a VPS or VPN or domain host.

For me the best if You will run some GAME HOST like minecraft or something like this. If You are interested I'm planing to open a 2x HURTWORLD servers custom rates with VIP ( donation ) it's quie popular game and easy to make some money.

Hello,
I was planning to try setup some game host server, do yo have some "idiots guide"?
Can you tell me what are requirements, bandwidth cores, etc?
Also how much you can make per month on this?
Thank you.
790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] What Hardware and Software do you use to mine the MONERO XMR on: June 16, 2016, 10:04:36 PM
mining with 3 rigs curently.

4x 7970 - 2200h/s (undervolted)
3x 280x - 1600h/s (stock)
2x 280x - 1100h/s (stock)

total power draw is about 980w

holding all my mined xmr for now.

your power consumption is only 1kw, per 9 cards on cryptonight?
did you undervolt, or what is your settings?
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: (GPU Mining) First Bitcoin... Then Ethereum... What next? on: June 16, 2016, 09:40:37 PM

Hello,
I can't see any hosts in here http://siapul.se/page/network
is it just me, or it's not working at all?

SiaPulse hasn't been updated yet so it shows 0 online hosts

Ok, thanks for clarification.

I read somewhere that you got "robbed" by someone copying your wallet dats and actually got into your system with teamviewer?!

There are a few people who got robbed that way (search reddit).

It actually seems teamviewer is the culprit here.

Imo someone is bruteforcing teamviewer accounts. The attacker only needs to bypass the loginlimit somehow ...

Don't forget the basic teamviewer password is only 6 letters, so even if you set a permanent login password that is way longer that basic 6 letter pw is still valid.
(the default 6 letter pw can be changed to a 10 letter pw including special characters)

Hi Grim,
can you please post that reddit links?
because something similar happened to me aswell, so I'd like to read more about that.
cheers

I'm starting to dislike Prime now doing some thinking both prime algos are centralized in chinese miners hands and in chinese exchanges hands nothing against that but as I mentioned before  Roll Eyes

The insane hashrate comes from Zhejiang province which is the base also for BTER exchange which btw the real ownership is also traced to Cayman Islands.

Dev could you add either neoscrypt or groestl to this scrypt, x17, lyra2rev2, blake2s option? This way we can have 5 algos option without Quark or Prime which are completely centralized mining. Very exciting seeing how Verge is now positioned as the cream of the crop in cryptos!

this is really good point, you should consider that!

also implement ban for chinese IPs, lol
