781  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LiteCoin or ETHEREUM? Best Investment option. on: October 03, 2019, 10:54:24 PM
i'm prefer to invest in ethereum, after in 2017 hit new ATH i don't is imposible Ethereum can hit another new ATH and passed 2017 ATH, this is just my speculation about ethereum price in future
I don't think so. Do you have any Idea about why did Charlie Lee sold all of his Litecoins? Charlie Lee and other prominent investors sold everything to move to fiat, houses, stocks, gold and other nice stuff. I am not negative but realistic than ever. The truth is you look like those indoctrinated guys here "don't sell ever". The smart guys like Lee knew this crap of today is going to happen then they dumped theirs coins on others and now enjoy the nice time, thereby we are here, but they are not. The point is not to have Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin, the point is to live a happy life my friends. We are not fanatics of Bitcoin right, we need to face the true, if many sold theirs portfolios there was a reason for that and the reason was not to feel what you feel today. I hope you will understand and back to this golden rule "Don't invest more than you can afford to loose".
782  Economy / Speculation / Re: When bitcoin will hit $1 million ! on: October 03, 2019, 10:34:17 PM
I believe most of the visitors here are already reading the same phrase over and over, "where is that Bitcoin going to $500K or 1 Million dollar?". Although I am not saying it can't go but it's unrealistic in my opinion. there is great examples were things didn't repeat history. Right now, we are going to $11,000 and maybe even back to $4,000. Nobody knows really!
A perpetual rule of each investor is to say don't invest more from what you cannot afford to loose. Everything is to be taken with extra caution especially now. We don't know if tomorrow Libra will come-in, how it will impact Bitcoin or even what if instead Facebook sign a partnership with another key semi-decentralized coin. not excludes but if happens, Bitcoin will gone my friends. If you see the market, It's called cautiousness. There millions of millionaire on this planned and not even 10% of them have Bitcoin on theirs portfolio.
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: October 03, 2019, 01:26:46 PM
I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it
Don't forget you can't make a lot of money overnight and always pick ones that target "mass adoption" with a "credible plans" to get. after researching a lot, i suggest you the below ones:

Storj: because of new better version for storing files.
Monero: because of great with privacy and all the effort to prevent the coin from centralized.
BAT: because of several millions users of Brave browser might use BAT.
Ethereum: because of innovative with their token system and new language.
MAID: because of oldest project to replace internet.

784  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would Quantum Computer Kill Bitcoin on: October 03, 2019, 12:54:10 PM
I could say from my knowledge that this is a serious issue and there is no solution that would not harm BTC value. first, BTC upgrades, but the coins on lost addresses don't migrate to quantum resistant addresses and stay vulnerable. Eventually BTC might get hacked. That would cause a market reaction.
second, You create a deadline within people will need to move their BTC to QR addresses. After the deadline the leftovers will be burned. The problem is that in that scenario, you don't know which coins are on lost addresses and which coins are from people who have not migrated yet for whatever kind of reason. Not everybody is part of "the community", some just glance at the price every now and then and don't follow technical development. Investing in BTC doesn't obligate you to have a bitcointalk account. And there is no preset condition that obligates you to keep up with the developments. So developers would not have the right to burn your coins if you don't migrate in time. It's a legal issue inside BTC community.
785  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: sudden drop in BTC? on: October 03, 2019, 10:10:31 AM
I would suggest that you keep a strong patience and set tight. Market will recover itself.

Do you think that i am right?  Go ahead and share you thoughts about the current market situation and your point of view.
It's time to stop gambling money or HODLing. it's time to looking at prices all day by building a rock strong winning strategy and start making profit by sticking to it. The key is to do this without emotion as this is the biggest self setback as a business person. Some people are still waiting for a correction to start buying bitcoins, ethereum, EOS or IOTA, others are waiting for a major bull run to start making profit but those approaches are wrong and my portfolio is a testimony to that. I actually may not be as good as i sound but i suggest finding a solid method and strategy for all who seriously want to make incredible profit from bitcoin without having to just buy and hold which is easiest to do.
786  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sentiment just hit rock bottom on: October 03, 2019, 02:00:10 AM
I think that having a sentiment, or an emotional attachment to an investment is not something bad by itself, for example, when we agree on its vision, or the way it has to do things. We often hear how bad emotion is when handling money and taking decisions, but in truth I never disagree with my sales and I think there's nothing wrong in that, in fact I have my own favorites inside and outside of Crypto. thereby understanding market sentiment can be a powerful tool for investors, But that has nothing to do with lying to ourselves about the price which is something the market is responsible for, and is independent of our preferences. I know it's difficult when one sees certain people on here every day obsessively trying to talk down BTC and act opposite, like trying to improve their long positions.
787  Economy / Speculation / Re: I wan't to believe on: October 02, 2019, 11:33:26 PM
People here are basing their trades on perceived sentiment, not realizing judging sentiment is literally the most unreliable thing you can do. Unless you magically know the opinion of every single participant in this market, you can't accurately gauge sentiment. Even sentiment analysis tools have their own flaws and biases. Instead of worrying about sentiment, focus on what the market is telling you and zoom out. We are in a consolidation period after a huge red volume move which in turn occurred after three months of consolidation. We closed below the 200 MA on the daily. This has literally never happened in any bull market in BTC's entire history. Descending triangles also have measured moves. With that much of a spike and after that long of sideways action, the target for that measured move is the upper $8,000. I can call it the end of the bear, thereby the Bull Market has begun.
788  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin sudden dump, when it will bounce again... on: October 02, 2019, 09:13:34 PM
HODLing is the only strategy that works. Price may go down but like every cycle, a level reaches where accumulation begins again and the trend reverses. And the supply gets spread thinner among more people where most hold a small amount that does not give them anxiety due to volatility. This is what kicks the price higher until holders again sell to spread the supply further. Price declines occur whenever too much front running of expected rise occurs and many existing holders are over extended. I hold that it is impossible for Bitcoin not to gain value over time by this mechanism as long as it stays secure and a fixed supply asset.
789  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falling of crypto prices on: October 02, 2019, 07:34:13 PM
Why would there be a bull run now, and What is the reason? Also, why would it crash now? No reason for that either. What makes much more sense is a prolonged period of consolidation. What is even better is that this is beneficial to HODLers and traders alike. Consolidation in BTC is within a 150 percent range, so plenty of trading to be done and HODLers will get plenty of chances to add more BTC once they acquired the fiat to do so. Of course all this only applies if the market chooses bull path consolidation pattern on monthly chart, and don't forget is it just a theory.
790  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin up to $20,000 before 2020? on: October 02, 2019, 12:11:19 PM
Maybe up to $100,000. Since the supply is fixed, the number of coins on either side of market price is not going to change much over time. What will change is the number of independent people or entities who control the orders either side. This essentially means dispersion of coins. At some point in future, a person owning BTC100 could be a whale. But the impact of such a whale would become smaller and smaller as coins spread into more and more hands. That's how BTC will gain in price because even at more than a trillion market cap, spread out ownership would mean there aren't too many overextended folks who will start dumping to take profits and protecting their Networth. Price will still move but less, because single individuals won't have the power to make big market moving orders.
791  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin's price on: October 02, 2019, 11:52:19 AM
It is logically impossible for Bitcoin to remain at a static price for a long time. Because it has fixed supply, eventually everyone who wants to sell at a certain price ends up selling. Then depending on presence of further buyers or absence, price either moves up or volume plummets. So movement is guaranteed. The good news is the trend is still increasing and we do not hit another lower low now. I think the value of Bitcoin will rise to the $80,000 and that there will be "mass adoption" that builds a road to a Million of USD.

what do you think is needed to make bitcoin's price grow faster and stronger?
People aren't going to risk large sums of their money being stored on a computer or some sort of hardware device which they have to look after themselves. community should work on this before "mass adoption". A sort of Bitcoin's bank is a good Idea.
792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: October 01, 2019, 09:10:43 PM
Bitcoin achieves the fastest transaction speeds in the industry with the lightning network which was recently declared as secure as Bitcoin, and it is far faster than fiat central banks, it settles about every 10 mins while the central banks do so every 24 hours. Bitcoin is its own central bank and payment system, and it's monetary policy is publicly known. I think that the endless creation of money by central and private banks will continue to devalue the dollar and weaken confidence in it, where Bitcoin differs to fiat is the fixed supply.
But I think 95% of the world population thinks Bitcoin is useless and a bubble. this is really just a matter of time as fiat currencies become less and less attractive due to their significant problems, and Bitcoin becomes easier and easier through the advancement of its technology. after mass adoption, it's enough for the bank's customers to withdraw 10% of their savings in a single month. One bank will close its doors and ask for a bailout, customers of other banks will seek to withdraw their money and buy bitcoin, and the chain reaction will continue.
793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big drop in hashrate on: October 01, 2019, 03:11:31 PM
I Agree with #48. If mining wasn't profitable some people would turn their mining machines off, the hashrate would fall, difficulty will adjust so it is profitable for the miners still operating. People will then see that it is profitable to mine again, so turn their machines on and invest more into new equipment starting the whole process over again. Profitability will always tend to zero, with some lead and lag time causing variance in miner profitability. The system was designed this way to incentives the appropriate hashrate to secure whatever the current value of the network is in terms of market cap. Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto
794  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with a 1000$ and what would you do? on: October 01, 2019, 11:26:27 AM
First do not put all that money in one coin. Don’t pick up an ICO, because of 90% of all startups fail. Don’t pick up an utility token which are mostly designed to pay tiny fees, because of this reason they are sharply overvalued. I always make safe investment and put my money in the most safer coin. Bitcoin is the most reliable and safe coin, put 50% of that money there. after that, I would pick up ones that target mass adoption and have a credible plans to get and won't disappear in the coming years. here would be a lot of options, but i can tell you what I purchased after researching a lot. I put my money into Monero, Ripple, ETH and IOTA. finally do your research, look around and buy what you believe in.
795  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL'ers lose. That is no surprise on: October 01, 2019, 08:58:11 AM
Much FUD has been put out there about "Useless, device dependent, completely tracks you and all financial activity, flaws in the mining algorithm, a pump and dump market, a money maker tool for wealthy" to try and make you sell your BTC. Everyone in the mainstream media will try to convince you to sell your BTC, even your friends and family will try to convince you to sell your BTC. The government will try to scare you into selling your BTC, but don't do it. HODLing is the only long-term strategy that works in spite of the whales and manipulation. i learned something in Crypto it is the fact that the community and market react the opposite of what everyone says or thinks what will happen.
796  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future on: October 01, 2019, 08:34:33 AM
Bitcoin is the father of great technology and will be forever the main standard in Blockchain and Crypto. the ledger would serve as the basis for better calculating balance of payments between countries and this is what Blockchain technology was designed to do. This would allow exchange rates to be adjusted more accurately based on real-time conditions. Sooner or later, Masses will wake up and join the Bitcoin, thereby driving the price up into the Millions and that there will be mass adoption, or Even a massive revolution against the central banks. I am viewing Bitcoin as an fundamentally different kind of money from the first place as Satoshi claims, not an investment instrument or a "Store of value".
797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over. on: October 01, 2019, 01:39:36 AM

if ETH hold above 168, downtrend will be over.
just an idea, the market is still very weak and bearish

It can be analyzed from two perspectives:

First, Ethereum looks bad. After the support/resistance flip and losing the 200MA on the hourly it is now hanging on the horizontal support in the $165-175 zone. If Bitcoin drops more that i give it a %60 chance it will, Ethereum will fall deeply. On the other hand, from a tech standpoint, the two main issues with Ethereum right now are improvements in speed and scalability. If the market continues like this, surely this technical issues will scare some people who have Ethereum and encourages them to come out.

Second, Bitcoin and Ethereum are both showing bullish divergence on the 4 hour RSI and MACD. it could be indicative of a price reversal to the upside soon. On the other hand Vitalik is very serious about ETH 2.0 and devoted it. I think many people still believe in ethereum because of it, and it helps to bull market.
798  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin cross 3K USD this year? on: October 01, 2019, 12:36:39 AM
Of course you should hold bitcoin because I'm optimistic that bitcoin is still the biggest volume of crypto assets in the world. And if we follow the historical pattern of past Bitcoin increases, indeed after or before Halving Day, the price of Bitcoin goes up high.
The halving event won't do magic for BTC just as it did nothing for LTC. This is just more propaganda for novice traders to buy into and for whale bag-holders to sell. In beginning the halving was far more important, but now everyone knows about it so far in advance it's already priced in. The halving won't do anything for BTC except cause another dump when it disappoints like Bakkt! I'm waiting for a magical news about bitcoin more fundamental than halving event.
799  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bull push to 600k ? on: September 30, 2019, 08:27:13 PM
I think market is irrational, and it shows no one really knows. Always there is a gamble on some levels, but anything below $80,000 could be a realistic value. Past performance not being a good model for the future, but If your goal is long-term (HODLing) I'd probably look to buy at this price point just because it seems as close to an equilibrium as possible, not anything else. If your goal is more short term in nature the RSI charts have been pretty good at predicting when to buy or sell. For active trading, make sure you are setting a sell target when you buy. Don't forget the people who are trying to get rich overnight are the ones that lose, and finance rewards the skeptical investor for a reason.
800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: September 30, 2019, 10:15:31 AM
The negative pressure of BTC on Altcoin and XRP is maintained. The long-term bull trend stays on Bitcoin even after this falling, but the obvious problem is the negative pressure it will create on XRP. if BTC drops to $7000, XRP can fall to $0.15. This will undoubtedly be a big problem because the main support is around $0.23 and the support will turn into resistance. In this situation the first resistance will be around $0.23 and the second resistance around $0.50. Hope the trading range for the XRP will stay between $0.23 and $0.33 before continuing up the ATH with BTC again.
