Is there anyway to bypass their Adblock-blocker? Don't feel like supporting lolForbes and Adnauseum doesn't seem to work there.
adblock plus seems to get through to forbes nowadays
but then it's never worth it

Challenge Accepted.
We will pass this ATH this year.

much snip
I was writing this last night ... Here is my take on it.
where can we see your writings?

some of his questions are interesting... (not radix lol)

What's wrong with radix? genuinely interested, as I've heard a little about it before and it sounded somewhat non-scam like.
When I last looked it was a target for botnets and sybil attacks and was claiming turing-completeness which is idiotic (verging on scammery).
Ideologically also for me, all alts are irrelevant, not least because of the Lindy effect and centralisation around a weird bloke from Stoke-on-Trent.

Do you know when it was that you last looked? I might take a look myself to see if those things have changed.
end of 2017. ish

Some kind of slow polyneuropathy like what happens when you have diabetes. According to ILADS doctors and their alternative testing its lyme and/or bartonella but it might be something else. I also had vitamin B6 toxicity and I have a list of other things I wont share. 2 years ago I was the epitome of health and was running 10Ks
Utterly sucks. Hope that in 2 years you'll be back up and running.

Im probably leaving the market within a week in my final distribution. AMA
Is this humour?
if yes - haha
if no - why leave?
Its 10 time less profitable to trade in these kinds of conditions so its an optimal time to reduce the risk of holding funds on exchanges and take a break from the immense stress, risk, and sleep disruption of trading. Also I am now financially set for 2 decades and have chronic illness. If I decide to go after money again and may be via a business or software project like making a new coin or an exchange and possibly not via trading.
Thanks for clarifying. Very best of luck.
(A server hosting company/ISP that one could actually trust would make a lot of money.)
You said AMA, but this is sheer nosiness: what chronic illness?
7848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 11, 2018, 01:12:56 AM
Not liking the current price. I'm still hoping that we just have a sideways market for a while. Something like Masterlucs year long triangle pattern. Honestly though, it doesn't feel like that is going to happen. Looks as though we will be waiting till the next halving, before anything good happens.  Sad

Fingers crossed for back to 5 figures though  Smiley

12 hours ago V8 suggested a bottom of $7,500 this weekend which seems reasonable.

Well, I have three bids between current price and $7500. Perhaps I can get a little more corn out of this before the rebound. Hope that I'm not just catching a falling knife all the way down to oblivion.

Same hope here. Because there's nothing for me to hold it up under that all the way down to TERA-tronic levels like 3.5k. I just feel bullish for next week and a kind of 12-14k holding pattern in mehbe April.

So a P100D is 2.4 to 60mph and 10.4 on the 1/4 mile.   Is acceleration above 60mph or 100mph relevant?
Not really. I actually plod along like a Fire and Rescue worker who has Seen Too Much.
But sometimes it seems important to go fucking fast in a superb machine designed and built just down the road.
The UK 'motorways' can be quite good. The limit is 70, but the police hardly care up to about 99 if conditions allow. And the surfaces in some stretches allow for 120+
For a lot of decent car owners, track days are fun for testing the higher speeds.
And the girls squeal, what can I say?

jjg - You're right about the 'we', I hate that too.
as for the tl;dr, needle needle needle

The McLaren could be standing still when the Tesla came past at 60mph and beat it to 120mph. (costs about 35 coins)

Which will come in most handy when I'm taking Mrs V8 up the Doncaster Bypass. To her pilates class.

I've seen this on reddit, https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/83d9y9/im_freaking_the_fuck_out_wtf_is_this/
it is on a domain which was related to ASICMINER earlier (but maybe the website was run by a shareholder?) asicminer.co

Someone knows more about this? I still own 100 direct shares, so would be good to know what's going on -_-

Edit: BTW I think most likely someone grabbed the domain and the linked website is a SCAM so please don't preorder anything lol.

Whoa either scammers really upped their game or, well, decentralisation is coming to btc mining again.

... either provide substance or humor or some other contribution that inspires me to conclude that you have moved a needle in a positive, rather than negative direction.   Tongue Tongue
We toil away in these mines providing substance, humour and much more, yet fail to move your needle.
It all just goes over your tiny little head.

Who would imagine that mining cryptocurrencies and agriculture can work together?  The first batch of cryptomatoes is ready to be harvested. We are using the excess heat for the tomato greenhouse and it is working:-)

Long / short ratio still bearish at 1.41.  I don’t think anyone should get too comfortable at the current price because risks are still to the downside.  We are due a weekend dump.
my new local bottom is 7500. heard it on the rapevine

Here's the thing, where I come from it was Blindman's Bluff. We would never have played Buff. It makes no sense in my language unless I'm holding a shine rag to one of V8's personal automobiles, or his shoes.
Here's the thing, tongue or gtfo.

I’m not convinced the coins were sold on exchange. The Mt Gox transfers are not linked to any known exchange account afaik.    I am starting to think the coins were sold OTC and this is all a bullshit FUD campaign.
Summary of Questions & Answers by the Trustee, copied from the mtgox-creditors site:
...
Q4. When and how did you sell BTC and BCH? What was the difference between the sales figures for BTC and BCH? Have you obtained any information from the U.S. Department of Justice on the disappearance of BTC[-e]?

A4. We sold them at the market price through the cryptocurrency exchange service provider from December 2017 through February 2018. The difference between the sales figures for BTC and BCH was just the timing of suspending sales; therefore, we did not have any particular intention. We have not obtained any information from the U.S. Department of Justice.
...
Q9. I have never heard about the sale of BTC and BCH. Why did you sell them when the market price of BTC crashed? Why did you sell them in such a hurry? Is selling BTC and other assets part of the “measures taken to ensure the benefits of the bankruptcy creditors” as pointed out by the examiner?

A9. From the outset of the bankruptcy proceedings, we informed all relevant parties that we were going to sell BTC and BCH at the appropriate time. We discussed this with the Tokyo District Court and decided when we should sell them. Some creditors were of the opinion that we should sell BTC and BCH soon. We believe that obtaining a lot of funds made it possible for us to take the “measures taken to ensure the benefits of the bankruptcy creditors”.
emphasis mine. This phrase muddies the waters in favour of your suggestion. Maybe it was the otc arm of an exchange. Or maybe that's a complicated way of saying 'exchange'. The transfers do seem to go to exchange-like wallets, and the dumps do seem to tally. If it was an OTC arm, why not chuck it at them all in one go?
It seems quite likely that someone out there has better information.

The fact that bitcoin is sound money trumps everything; adoption, payment networks, umwelts, all these buzzwords newcomers bandy.
This shit is real money and it will absorb all the capital there is, with or without us.

Till we get to 11k again and the mt. gox trustee dumps (500 million down ...1.5 billion to go!) this could get really really old a yo/yo from say 11k to 8k rollercoaster......

The spin on that article is criminally fud-dy. Yesterday's news served up as if it might happen today.
