Meantime down to 7,000 transactions in mempool. Either people have stopped trading or segwit is making a difference.
Well volume is lower than ideal. There's no goddam spam attack to coincide with Roger shenanigans - inefficient scammer co-ordination. There's a push to measure not tx's but outputs https://opreturn.org/ which are up a lot.

Is there a source for the BCash ATM story? Looks beautiful.
yes and no. the @ sign is a giveaway that it's a twitter handle btw https://twitter.com/alistairmilne/status/961912130399326208he's a bit coy cos he invests in said atm company. he's a corporate type, so innately untrustworthy, but I find him less untrustworthy than any fanboi bcasher

What if Elon Musk just committed the perfect murder? That would really be something ..... movie material What if I told you it's satoshi in that car? Everyone would say 'huh cool' What if I told you it's Craig Wright the fraudulent satoshi beloved of bcashers? Immediate worldwide year-long fiesta. Verified account @alistairmilne A large Bitcoin ATM network added Bcash to its machines ... labelled as 'Bitcoin Cash' 100's of support tickets later, it was removed due to lost funds, complaints it wasn't Bitcoin, etc. Bcash passing off as Bitcoin is losing normal people money -needs moar hardforks

I'm surprised that they're hitting corporate accounts. Those were supposed to be safe. They gave me a bit of trouble when pulling all of my money off of the exchange. Fortunately I'm not a US resident. Not that that has helped at all with wex.nz. What's the state of play with that lot then? I had thought being not-USian was enough for them, but no?

Yeah, that’s kind of what I thought. I dug into it a little but couldn’t find anything substantial about you scamming anyone. I don’t see any risked btc so I’m going to award you 20 merit.
Oh right I hadn't really thought of that part. No I've only ever scammed myself. He gave me a medal over a difference of opinion on business practices... Many thanks for the merit. Will use it judiciously I hope. This has been a chastening experience.

I am also almost exclusively following the Wall Observer thread. It is my first source for Bitcoin related news and sentiment. Besides, there are bits of interesting technical discussion at times, and of course a good 60% of totally irrelevant noise. I often wish I had more sMerit to give out.
You were defo one of the ones I had in mind.

I do indeed work in standards as my day gig. However, ones of a very different nature. Without the standards I work on, none of this shit would even start working. I thought you were too crypto rich to have a day job. The picnic bear works because he "like it..". hahahahahhaha He works for the enemy, the USG. In his spare time he volunteers for their asset, Ver, and the corresponding chicom asset, Wu. Your assertion that I work for USG is simultaneously laughable on its face, and truly deserving of ridicule. It is quite apparent you are speaking of things of which you have zero knowledge, despite the fact that the open record in this very venue provides all required to see how truly laughable the assertion be. What asset is the USG's? You mean the Federal Reserve Note? No. No volunteering on its behalf. Oh you mean Ver is the USG's asset? First, I find the assertion that Ver be a USG asset ludicrous. You do realize he has at times been denied entry visa, right? Do you assert that as part of his 'plausible cover backstory'? Second, while our visions of the best means to free humanity from fiat slavery seem largely aligned, I certainly do not 'volunteer for Ver'. And I suppose you mean that Wu is a chicom asset? I really have little direct evidence to say yea or nay here. Never met the man. Nonetheless, I might point out that Bitcoin Segwit is dominated by Wu in any sense that Bitcoin Cash is dominated by Wu. Further, I certainly do not 'volunteer for Wu'. You should probably keep your vomitous crapulation to yourself. You are only serving to make yourself appear stupid. Actually, Jbreher. I had thought that Last of the V8 had no fucking basis at all for his shot in the dark last grasp at a USG govt assertion, so I totally shrugged off his claim. However, now that you so vehemently defended various angles for why you are in "no way" affiliated with USG in any kind of way whatsoever, I am becoming more convinced that there has to be some kind of a USG connection there, somehow... someway. New tentative theory has gotta be that picnic food eating bear is not really in the food stealing business, but instead part of dee gubmint. and we better alert Torque to this new tentative theory, because surely he would be skillful at getting at the bottom of it... A problem with Torque, though, is that he prefers to come up with his own theories .. as a history student I once did research/paper on the early history of institutionalized secret police in 19th century europe. parts of europe were fractioned in many small kingdoms, principalities and they all had developed secret police institutions. they sent out their agents to hunt the people who wanted democracy. to spy on them, to sniff on them, to create files about innocent folks. some/many of the agents became even agent provocateurs trying to infiltrate the networks of the democratic activists. there were so many of those agents that they sometimes outnumbered the real people at certain events. and that was just the start. those institutions have evolved since then. they had a chance to advance their infiltrating techniques and strategies. I guess there are almost as many secret police institutions in the world as we have countries. big countries have several agencies anyway. add to that the incredible number of OTHER government agencies that want to know stuff... worldwide... and how many important bitcoin forums are existing? a handful? some agencies monitor, some stir up, some collect, but get used to the fact that this forum is full of them. Even if we create a list of the government agents, we won't be able to determine if we got it right or if the list makers ended up being the govt agents making shit up. TLDR: We are all fucked! lol the benefits of ignoring - first time i saw all this Good points 600watt and JJG. possibly even breher Please let's be clear that assets of a govt. are not the same as agents. Often an asset will not know they are an asset. They believe in a movement and their handlers encourage them without their knowing the real reasons why. As to the particular case, I searched through jbreher's posts to find where he told us of his employment, but gave up because the deceitfulness was all too depressing. Perhaps he'd honour us with the relevant quote alluded to in the part I underlined, and we can take it from there.

I don't quite think my own posts qualify for your offer, though you're welcome to browse through obviously and encourage me to do the work if you consider me worthy. Mostly I post in the infamous Wall Observer thread, and this community within a community is pretty short of merit, despite some excellent posts. Newbies come to learn about trading, end up learning all sorts of other things, including bitcoin. Fud is rugby-tackled to the ground. Shitcoin shills are laughed off the park. All sorts of good stuff. So will mention your thread over there, and may God have mercy on your soul.
It doesn’t matter what section you post in because I’m judging the persons involvement in the discussion, not the topic. Please don’t mention this in adamstgBit‘s thread. That’s too much disruption for this thread. I looked at your post history and my eyes are bleeding. I haven’t seen that many memes since this forum was full of Bronys. You have some pretty good posts, your very knowledgeable and definitely participating. I just have one question for you. You have a little negative trust involving OgNasty. Can you explain that to me? Whoops I already have. The post didn't get much traction, I guess as there was a lot else going on. I've deleted it now and hope it won't disrupt you here too much. Thanks for the feedback. I admit I can be somewhat 'over-visual' or 'under-literate' or just 'lazy'. OgNasty's trust comments read: "Stating that NastyFans (a transparent and provably honest organization) is a scam. Pathetic slander. Do not trust those who go out of their way to spread lies". I called him out a few times, sometimes with some minor trolling, and sometimes 'going out of my way' (to protect newbies), on those very points of transparency and provability. He has not published accounts. He took in more btc than he made for people, even after it was clear - maybe during 2013 - that mining at that level was not a profitable investment. He obfuscates his business by hiding behind a fan club. I am not 'lying', but I might be mistaken. The only way to know if I am wrong about him is if he were to publish his accounts strictly in btc terms. (He gives odd irrelevant dollar prices for odd years sometimes). If he was transparent and I was wrong, I'd admit it and apologise. If he made his investors whole again in btc terms, he wouldn't be a scammer in my judgment, just untrustworthy. Even theymos doesn't seem to think he's a financier any more, and rightly closed up shop pronto. Og can't see that he could similarly semi-recover from his errors.
