7841  Economy / Speculation / Re: prediction on 2018 bitcoin will become on: July 30, 2017, 06:42:38 AM
who know bitcoin will become in 2018 i think its not possible it become 50k USD  Grin Grin

This topic should be moved in the "Speculation" category.
If Segwit2x is successfull and bitcoin transactions become cheaper and faster(or even instant),BTC
will rise to 10K USD.Reaching 50K USD is doable during the next 5 years,if there are no major hard forks and no dirty government and central bank tricks(no attempts to destroy bitcoin).
7842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BCC] Blind carbon copy on: July 30, 2017, 06:28:21 AM
Quote
BCC: blind carbon copy to tertiary recipients who receive the message. The primary and secondary recipients cannot see the tertiary recipients. Depending on email software, the tertiary recipients may only see their own email address in BCC, or they may see the email addresses of all primary and secondary recipients.

How about a "app" that sends some of the new garbage coins to everyone you BCC on your emails at work?

That`s a clever idea,but Bitcoin Cash won`t be BCC,it will be BCH.
I`ve never though about sending altcoins via email. Some people were trying to create a Paypal
alternative that sends fiat money directly via email without logging into accounts or digital wallets.
Perhaps the BCH devs would promote their altcoin via email spam. Grin
7843  Bitcoin / Legal / Bitcoin is ...nothing,acording to my country`s laws. on: July 29, 2017, 12:09:59 PM
I live in a country in the EU and i tried to get some information about how can i pay my taxes for my btc revenue.
Acording to my country`s legislation:
1.Bitcoin isn`t  digital money.
2.Bitcoin isn`t a digital asset.
Acording to the laws, bitcoin is nothing...BUT acording to the same legislation,i`m obligated to pay taxes for all my revenues, including the income from online trading. What if all my income comes from bitcoin trading?
Do i have to pay any taxes or no?Sorry,if this questions is asked here before.
Is this ridiculous?
7844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why you should keep hold of your BCC after Aug 1st on: July 29, 2017, 11:47:22 AM
An interesting blog post from Michael Krieger on a possible scenario after the August 1st split.

https://libertyblitzkrieg.com/2017/07/28/is-the-bitcoin-civil-war-over-heres-how-im-thinking-about-bitcoin-cash/

Is the bitcoin civil war over?Pretty "click-bait" title for this article. Grin
This is not a "civil war",everyone is free to support and use whatever coin he/she wants-bitcoin,bitcoin cash, bitcoin unlimited or any altcoin.Miners and devs aren`t fighting against each other. Some people just have
different ideas about how bitcoin should be improved.Their ideas don`t have the support of the majority and that`s why they want to leave and move on.Is this is a civil war?
7845  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Play settlers of catan for money? on: July 29, 2017, 05:50:28 AM
I`ve never seen any succesfull online strategy game with gambling involved.I don`t consider poker a strategy game, despite the fact that  there is some strategy in poker.
Perhaps this is due to the risks of the  game being exploited,i think.
If you want to create a brand new gambling game, there has to be some luck involved or maybe some combination between luck and strategy.
People still like casinos because there`s more luck and less strategy in the casino games.
7846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Boxing Champ Floyd Mayweather Is Promoting ICO's on: July 29, 2017, 05:32:25 AM
The comments next to his post make me laugh. Grin
I don`t care about Mayweather,he is just a rich idiot with boxing skills.
The important thing is that ICOs might be more regulated by the SEC,which means they will
be more secure for the investors that there will be less scammy ICOs.
I don`t know anything about this Stox ICO.
Perhaps Mayweather is one of the project`s developers. Grin
Just kidding...
7847  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open a Bitcoin hosting company on: July 28, 2017, 11:18:31 AM
Don`t look only at the electricity costs. There are so many other costs.
Building a legit hosting business means that you will have to pay taxes.
I don`t really understand what is your business idea?
Do you wand to import servers or mining hardware?
Good luck with this project.
7848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing before August 1st. on: July 28, 2017, 11:05:38 AM
Hi guys,

i want to invest some money into Bitcoin but don't know if i should invest now or after August 1st.
Might the price for one btc drop after August 1st and would it be a good decision to wait a couple days?
What could be a benefit of investing now?

regards
Jambo

If you want to hold the bitcoins for a few months, there wouldn`t be any problem to invest now.
The bitcoin price might decrease before and after Aug 1,but bitcoin will skyrocket during the winter.
If you want to start bying and reselling bitcoins, you should wait.
Anyway,that`s just my opinoin.
7849  Economy / Speculation / Re: what would the entry of 'big money' look like? on: July 28, 2017, 06:10:52 AM
this is something that's been threatened for years, but hasn't really happened in a big way.

so let's assume for a moment that the decks are cleared for any forex or stock trading firm to get into bitcoin. no weird hacks like gbtc, no crappy exchanges, no regulatory holdups - there's the market, go play.

there's a pathetically small amount of coins available to buy. many people here seem to assume they're all gonna pile in and outbid each other until it's in the millions. i find that extremely weird behavior for professionals.

how do you think it would play out?

Having a "pathetically small amount of coins ot buy" is actually a good thing.
If there weren`t any HODLers, the bitcoin price would still be around 200-300 USD.
This is not "extremely weird behavior", because most of the btc holders are NOT professionals.
They don`t have the knowledge and skills to trade and they don`t want to take the risk.
That`s why they hold.
7850  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am against Bitcoin Cash and here is why on: July 28, 2017, 06:00:09 AM
Why don`t Bitcoin Cash suporters create a brand new altcoin.(Somehting from scratch, like the OP said.)
They are using the name of Bitcoin to manipulate the newbies, who are not familiar with soft/hard forks.
Using the name "Bitcoin" gains some aditional level of trust, which they don`t deserve.
Bitcoin Cash should be renamed to something different-Baitcoin,Betcoin or Batcoin...i don`t know. Grin
7851  Economy / Economics / Re: GOLDMAN SACHS said : Bitcoin may need 'another few swings' before making on: July 26, 2017, 11:56:51 AM
Since when Goldman Sachs cares about Bitcoin and the BTC price?
This analysis looks pretty simple to me.
Perhaps Sheba Jafari doesn`t know anything about the upcoming soft/hark forks and Segwit2x.
I don`t care about "triangle patterns" and "five swings".
The bitcoin price will skyrocket after Segwit. You don`t have to be an expert to see this.
7852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After 1 Aug split can I trade BTC and BCC? Should I withdraw all bitcoins? on: July 26, 2017, 11:25:36 AM
I'm pretty new to the cryptocurrency world and what I have seen in the past days, everybody is talking about BIP 149, SegWit2x and other terms that I really don't understand. As far I can understand that bitcoin will split into 2 separate currencies: BTC (Legacy old) and BCC (Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin ABC -it's the same, right?-) after 1 August UTC 12:00 am. People say that I should withdraw all my coins into my Electrum Wallet before 1 Aug. That's what have I done.

After the split, everything will be cloned and people will have both BTC and BCC. If you had 1 BTC, after the split you will have 1 BCC as well. So... what to do after that? Will ever BTC exists? Will people have the possibility to trade with BTC and with BCC as well? If these are 2 different currencies, that means if I make a transaction with BCC (send) then it will be transfered in BTC as well? Will the 2 currencies "synchronize" with each other? (I don't know if you can understand what I'm trying to say).

- Bitcoin price has dropped. Should I invest more FIAT into it before 1 Aug?

I think that statements like "Bitcoin will split" are wrong.Bitcoin doesn`t split, the blockchain splits.
If the split happens,BCC will soon become worthless, due to the lack of supporters.People would want
to sell their BCC as soon as possible and the price will colapse pretty fast.
Everyone is free to HODL their BCC,after the split.Nobody would lose anything, unless all the people panic and make some wrong trading decisions.
7853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] Target Coin - World's FIRST And ONLY Bonus Paying Crypto Fund on: July 26, 2017, 11:16:32 AM
Why do you guys keep ICO? Why not enhance the existing platform? They nearly function the same but the difference is just the technical side. You could try to incorporate into them, like what NXT dev team is doing. It is wasting of the resource, money and homan power etc.

Why do you care about this? The Target Coin owners and developers have the right the decide for how long the ICO will continue.Any unsold tokens will be burned, which means that their price might increase after the ICO.This is a pretty good investment opportunity.
Many people think that ICOs are the next "dot com bubble",but Target Coin is going to be one of the most solid and trusted cryptocurrency funds.
7854  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Investors interested to participate for pre ICO offer on: July 26, 2017, 05:59:49 AM
I am consultant for various ICO campaigns and would like to co work with interested investors for negotiating PRE ICO offers which will be available for huge discount price. I am also satisfied with unique innovative ideas the projects are offering. People interested to co work  pm me for more details.

I`m a little bit confused.
You want to work with investors and sell them pre ISO shares/token at a discounted price,or
you want to work with project developers and promote their projects to investors, who are willing to invest
before the ICO launch? You have to put some portfolio here in order to build trust.
Nobody will trust a newbie account, saying "PM me for more info".
7855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stolen BTC(e)'s using mixer to laundry on: July 26, 2017, 05:46:39 AM
It seems Btc-e hacked and hackers erasing traces.
here is a proof : https://blockchain.info/address/18f1yugoAJuXcHAbsuRVLQC9TezJ6iVRLp

its really interesting that meanwhile bitmixer announced that they shut off.

Total of 66k BTC stolen.
will see btc price will crash soon.

If this information was real the bitcoin price would have crashed to 1500 USD pretty fast.
Right now the price is 2479 USD and nobody announced that btc-e is hacked.
Yes,i know that Bitmixer is down, but this doesn`t have anything related to Btc-e.
Try to provide a more genuine proof,OP.
7856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could Bitcoin fork lower even after August 1st? on: July 26, 2017, 05:41:36 AM
After the initial fork before Aug 1st, whats the possibility of Bitcoins forking even further even after Aug 1-2?
The chances seem slim just thinking about it, but what are your thoughts?

Many forks have happened and if there is no disagreement then everything keeps moving as normal. Iirc a fork happened in 2013 and barely anyone even knows about it.

More forks will happen in the future for sure, but i think that more than 95% of all the bitcoin
users, miners, and devs will always support bitcoin core. That`s why we shouldn`t care about all the
future forks. The forks only scare cryptocurrency traders and create short term price fluctuations.
They aren`t a big threat at all.
7857  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now dropping again on: July 25, 2017, 05:00:49 PM
After its rise approaching the $2,800 level almost two days ago, Bitcoin is now on a retreat again. I am speculating that this must be due to the recent announcement that there will be a new coin to be called as Bitcoin Cash and the continuing fear of what can be on and after August 1.

Until we can get over August 1, there will be that dark cloud appearing above Bitcoin and it has become a big issue so far affecting its movement and value. I am just simplifying things here so I want to hear all of your analysis and comments on this latest development.

This is a normal price correction. After all,we should "still prepare for Aug 1".
I quess that we all see the news that appear on our account dashboards.
Bitcoin Cash will be the next Bitcoin Unlimited, another shitty altcoin with no support.
The fear of a hard fork remains, but the posibility is...i would say 1%.

7858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a lot like eCigarettes on: July 25, 2017, 04:51:43 PM
I`ve always though that eCigarettes are more harmful than the normal cigars.
Perhaps, this is due to the big tobacco corporations propaganda. Grin
Anyway, smoking is like doing drugs,it`s not healthy.
Compaing bitcoin with drugs is wrong.Using BTC is actually healthy. Grin
7859  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price after Hard Fork on Aug 1? on: July 25, 2017, 10:35:22 AM
What will happen to Bitcoin price after hard fork?  will it get split in value?

if one bitcoin is $2700  after split btc= 2200  bcc= 500  something like that maybe please enlight me

This is a pretty wrong calculation you are doing,OP.
I`m not sure that the hard fork will happen, but if it happens.I would say:
BTC-2000 USD and 3000 USD after one month
BCC-10 USD and decreasing to $2 a few days after the hard fork.
Maybe someone should create a gambling webiste and people should place bets about the future BTC and BCC prices after a hard fork.I`m just kidding. Grin
7860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your bitcoins while you are still rich on: July 25, 2017, 10:28:34 AM
You shouldn`t care about what the big exchange platforms are going ,OP.
They blocked BTC withdrawals and deposits, but that doesn`t mean that they would leave bitcoin forever.
Just don`t try do give advises about how the market is going to deal with Segwit.
Don`t be like the other newbie "sheep", saying "Bitcoin price decreased from $2753 to 2750 USD,
I have to sell everything, big crash is coming!" Grin
