7841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 27, 2019, 09:21:01 PM
Eth under a 100 dollars is coming

If that happens I will surely try to buy as much ETH as I can because last time I bought ETH at 100 I was able to sell them around 250-280.
We have seen it decreased under $100 so it's a sure thing that there will be more buying power if we will land to that price. But so far, the price is good and strong above $208 but I'm not confident that if this dip will continue, we're likely to see more below it.
7842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its time for altcoins as well on: July 27, 2019, 09:02:42 PM
When we have good growth by btc then high dominance of BTC will decrise and money would go from btc to alts and alts season start we have seen this before and will happen again i am sure just need some time ,keep it up and wait.
Bitcoin's dominance now is 64.4% and it's high honestly but why we are seeing the market plunge today? there's something that we need to understand about it, not all the time just because of high dominance, there will be a rise.
Last all time high, dominance of bitcoin isn't high but all alts benefited from it.
7843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: July 26, 2019, 11:43:56 PM
So this is the first article of Ethereum on Bitcointalk.
After 5 years, thanks to Ethereum project, thanks Vitalik Buterin.
It's also notable that the author of this thread is Vitalik himself and yes that's his personal account but he haven't logged in since 2016.
Eth under a 100 dollars is coming
So what? we've even witnessed ETH played around $81 this year.

All in Waves. Smiley
This is quite risky if you are going to all in with waves. I'm not very updated with the things that happens with Waves but you should expand your portfolio and include bitcoin.
Try to build a larger portfolio and hold more than just two altcoins you have presently and know that its risky because no one knows when altcoins season will come, its might take longer than we all expected so be prepared for that too
They don't understand the importance of having bitcoin on their portfolios.

It seems that they're too focus on altcoins hodl-hodl portfolio, neglecting bitcoin's capability. That's too difficult for a person if he doesn't appreciate bitcoin to be included in their asset, and lacking knowledge on cryptocurrency is really the reason.
I can't blame them if they have been introduced mainly to alts and has believed that there's more profit in alts than bitcoin. They really are ignoring the fact that bitcoin has the biggest potential if they are just looking to build their portfolios.
Even having bitcoin only to a portfolio it's already considered a great one rather than hundreds of alts that doesn't have real value.

That coin allows you to earn dividends, don't you like that feature? I want to recommend you to use escrow for this trade.
7848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Old Bounty Project Or A New Bounty Project? on: July 25, 2019, 11:35:29 PM
You prefer to follow the old bounty project (token already on the exchange) or new bounty project (token in development)
what are your views with them?
I'm not into this but majority of the bounty hunters will prefer those projects that are already on the exchange. There's an easier way for them to sell the tokens quickly unlike those tokens that are still in development and doesn't have an exchange, they can be lazy of contacting the exchanges to contact their tokens. And even the token is already on the exchange, it doesn't mean that the development should be stopped. They are in the continuing process of developing to make it better.

More than 5 years of this thread and we still dont have eth 2.0
Chill out, I know what you feel but let the devs work on it. There might be a reason why they keep on delaying it.

Well, there's a solid reason why they're still delaying it after all these years, and it's simple: ETHEREUM DEVELOPERS ARE STILL CLUELESS OF WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO. TBH, Ethereum is starting to look like a sh!tshow, with Vitalik playing with some new experiments on the testnet on a daily basis but resultantly, getting a "Game Over" over and over again. Seriously, using Bitcoin Cash for scaling is the silliest possible solution and the worst part is, if Vitalik wants it, he'll get it, as Ethereum seems to be solely revolving around one young personality, and this centralization is quite dangerous as well for the whole ecosystem.
Technically speaking, I can't understand his tests but with the simplest way of understanding it. When I've heard about bitcoin cash to be used with ethereum's upgrade, the very first word that came to my mind is 'what?Huh'.
7850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its time for altcoins as well on: July 25, 2019, 10:53:23 PM
Our doubts will be answered if indeed we do our own analysis of this market condition and determine what target investment you will be looking for. this will make it easier for you to be able to benefit from your investment
Analysis and being aware of the current events. Yes, current events does impact to the market and also to the community which reflects to the market itself too. We are on the middle of the road and it's hard to tell if its time for the altcoins too but if you believe that it's their time too, we will notice it but for now just observe the movements.

7852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Says Bear Market is BAD? on: July 23, 2019, 10:59:55 PM
What makes crypto interesting is the volatility involved, that is why one can ride the waves if he knows however to and make some profits, if their is no bear, there can't be bull and that is the determinant for profit
Nice correct thinking. Many investors just think of the bull run but they don't see the implications and the ways it has to go through before reaching that point. There will be a need to take a moment for bear market before going back to the bull run and vice versa. I liked the volatility of bitcoin mostly as we know it has the largest volume and most popular coin. And everytime the market starts to stumble, many are just waiting for that moment to start buying.
7853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best DEX out there? What do you guys think? on: July 23, 2019, 10:27:11 PM
DEX means decentralized while Binance DEX isn't even like that. Take the answer from the owner itself while he can't answer straight with the question on how decentralized his binance DEX is. It's also reported that one of the most favorite dex of all time, IDEX isn't decentralized too.

This is correct. Binance DEX it just a cashing out of the DEX wave and IDEX is turning to KYC and other regulations. Many others will follow this step because of bad planning they knew that the crypto market was in early stage and no regulations were possible at the time and in the future they had to change this, what i'm trying to say is that they didn't really care about the privacy or the actual functions of a dex. If i can advice any of you is to actually look into SwitchDex.ag because they got a great project out there that is fully focused on privacy and staying true to de definition of a DEX, They are based on Antigua & Barbuda meaning laws of the USA won't apply there and can't force them.
I've hearing it a lot of times about switchdex, I may take a look into them and might consider if I find it convenient and effective for me.
My current Dex has Idex, etherfly, etherdelta, Forkdelta. All are well and Idex is the place with the most stable trading but it requires a minimum to buy and sell quite high.
And in the future, they will turn into a centralized exchange. :/
7854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO isn't recommended earning site ? on: July 23, 2019, 10:02:42 PM
I haven't heard much about ICOs these days. Seems the era is phasing out. Seriously, ICOs should be regulated and an embargo placed on projects to make sure they deliver on their ICO promises. Most projects to raise funds on ICO and just zoom off ie never get to list on any exchange.
They are about to be exterminated since the investors are changing the ways now and point of view about ICOs. It's hard to change it right now after the saddest year that we've been. Despite of bad market for ICO, there's still another door opening for IEO which is still as good as ICO but there's a guarantee for the token listing.
7855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP Lost on: July 23, 2019, 09:37:23 PM
I think it's impossible, unless you have evidence or data that can make a team or dev believe that it is your wallet. If you don't have strong evidence, you don't think you can get your XRP anymore. Next time you don't be careless in accessing your wallet, because even a small mistake can be fatal.
He just said that he has learned from this incident because it's no longer retrievable and now everyone has to move on.
Well I learned a valuable lesson and move on.
7856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICO isn't recommended earning site ? on: July 23, 2019, 08:56:27 PM
ICOs are no longer worth it because they failed to fulfill the reason why they were created thereby making IEO to attract more investors on daily basis. By investing in IEO investors no longer worry about the exchange the project will list on etc.
That's the advantage of IEO, there will be assurance that the token will be tradable after the sale. While the ICOs, most of them failed and after the sale it's just about the dev willing to list the token to a good exchange. If ever they list it somewhere, it's about time for them to step out to the project and take the cash with them. The worse part, is that the project can't even be traced because it's a scam.
7857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It’s taking a lot of discipline not to sell my alts for Bitcoin. on: July 23, 2019, 08:32:30 PM
You are not alone, many of us bought alts knowing that they have been at the bottom. But I choose not to cut losses, since it has been that much I'm just accepting the fact at the moment that I don't want to lose that much and keeps on believing that these coins that I bought shall recover soon. It's okay on your part because it's just 20% altcoins and you still have a bunch of portion for bitcoin.

7859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: the end of crypto? on: July 20, 2019, 07:25:25 PM
The only people who deserve to make money are patient investors who believe in what they are investing in.
We can't stop those people who thinks that they can make that much money with crypto by just holding few hours to few weeks. All they think is that the market is solely a rich quick scheme. They can't accept the fact that it's due to the supply and demand of the coins that they are holding and what's even more unfortunate? when the coins they are holding are unknown and still thinks it will lift them up from poverty.
7860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WTB any altcoin for large amount on: July 20, 2019, 07:01:25 PM
His strategy is way pretty simple and it's not really complicated as others stating. He just want to look for some people that doesn't care to sell their coins whether on exchange or wants to deal through p2p. Definitely the price for p2p would be lower than exchange prices and after buying, he just want to keep the coin until it results to have a good volume and price increase.
