well you can do both saving and investing with bitcoin you just need to convert your money into bitcoin and just hold . because bitcoin itself is also investment nowadays where you can save you money while getting profit because of the mostly price increase .
That's right, the price of bitcoin at this moment is already high. I don't need to invest my coins in other websites because holding it is already investing for me. Whenever I need money, I just convert it to my fiat and request a cash-out. however you can also grow your bitcoin by doing alt coin trading so you can make more bitcoin and more profit from bitcoin while the price increase is approaching and after you have successfully made a profit from alt coin trading your money will be possibly grown or maybe it will be doubled . by the way we have the same situation I am also doing the same thing you do whenever I need money . Altcoin trading or whatever you call it is still trading and in trading it's a gamble since there's no guarantee that can grow your money. A lot of people here gamble to become rich, but some do it for fun.
The question is, if you wake up tomorrow with 50 million dollars, would you still gamble for fun, or would you forget about gambling and do other stuff? Personally I think I would still gamble. I do it now, and I know I realistically will never get rich off gambling, because I barely do it and I don't risk much money, just for fun sometimes, to test my luck.
So if I had a lot of money, I would do bigger gambles, but they would still enter in the "for fun" amount (for the new 50 million standard). For example, gambling 1K a month would be irrelevant, and winning with a 1K bet can give you big rewards if you are lucky. It would still be fun, in fact more fun, and it would be as non risky as it is now, in terms of going financially bankrupt.
If I woke up tomorrow with the money of 50 million usd because I was not too addicted to gambling maybe I'll gamble just a little bit of presentation 50 million usd. because the money will I use for things more important pentinga others who do not have such a high risk of betting or investing The best idea would be to have your own gambling site, with that big amount of money that already a good bankroll for a gambling site and you can entice more gamblers to play your site because your site is very liquid. People do really wish to be rich but it does not happen easy, unless you win the jackpot in gambling, you get it from gambling and if you are not careful you will also return it in gambling. |

honestly there's a lot of ways to stay away from being seduced by gambling . first start from decreasing your daily bet when you're playing gambling. ive been addicted also on gambling now im trying to stay away from it as soon as possible because its wasting my bitcoin i dont know whats on gambling but when im playing it ilike to win a bigger prize pool thats why im betting with a huge amount. and playing in a long run always led me on losing.

People who usually gamble alot don't know what they are doing and are out of control.
At this point they should seek medical counselling because they obviously have a mental condition if they can not stop gambling and are definitely addicted to it.
I agree with you . when the gambler just think to always win, they were wrong. because it is the beginning of their addiction. it should be removed and they are exposed to a little bit of pressure mentally strong. I dont think that gambler dont just think of win to be addicted. A lot of people addicted is because they like to gamble. They already knew that they are not going to win but they still pour more and more money in is due to the fact that they like to involve in gambling. I think that as losses start climbing and they begin to realize the amount of money they have lost the addicted see no way out but to keep gambling because they have lost so much money that the only way they see they could get that money back is through gambling. With the trend of the price of the bitcoin always up, never in a hurry to sell bitcoin. a simple example is the year 2016, after halving day price bitcoin dropped, but now it has gone up again.

Yes i am addicted to gambling because almost everyday i played dice game in bitsler. 12 hours aday that is why am decide to stop it but its so hard to stop. So i thankful that i learn here in bitcointalk this is now my new hobby.
Good for you that you could able to stop gambling but i assume you still play bitsler up to now but not already for longer hours. Gambling addiction is really hard to stop since emotion and aims will surely urge you to play even more because you are already hooked into it and also seeking for profits is also a motivation for most gambling addicts. Its very rare for people to stop completely. Games that can make us addicted are games that we love to play, sometime in the past I play dice and for awhile I was addicted and was able to experiment a method to win, I tried different method especially martingale which I have been using for a long time but never use bot when betting. I don't like slot games, I think they are very repetitive and don't offer any kind of entertainment to me I prefer to play almost any other casino game like baccarat or blackjack.
Slots games are supposedly played for fun only, you can't win that games as the odds does not favor you. But there are ways we can minimize our losses and also risks, and I think that is what playing gamble smartly. If we are talking about dice game, than definitely, dice game don't need experience, it is purely depend on luck. It can if you follow someone, i.e a tipster in this forum or outside of it. That's not all, you have to follow his bankroll instructions, his stakes (how sure he is about a bet from 1-10 is known as a stake), play only the percentage suggested by him per single bet, i.e 3% for a bet 5% for another and so on. The tipster need to have an outstanding history and be time tested.
I think this is the only possibility for someone to win in the long term. If you play yourself, you maybe good for a certain amount of time but soon after you will end up losing everything. Maybe I am wrong but I don't know any other way to be profitable in gambling in the long term and I am talking of course about sports betting here.
In dice, to win in a long term, you need to have a very huge bankroll, do the martingale strategy and multiply your bet everytime you lose, x3 and above is better. Then a single win (if your bankroll can afford the amount of those losses plus the current bet before you win) can surely give you very nice profit especially if you have a longer lossing streak. That is the only possible strategy if you want to win in the long run. Large bankroll won't help you to win in the long run, if you chose to use martingale strategy you'll fast. in the long run the house edge rules, it doesn't matter how much is your bankroll, you'll lose! Any gambling method may be applicable depending on the right timing, martingale might work for others but it's not advisable as it can easily consume your bankroll when you have a cold streak. The thing is, we want to last in gambling to enjoy and hopefully to be profitable in the long run. The best way to do it is not to be greedy using martingale method but use flat betting with a right decision making on your bets. |

Most of the people in the world are not ready to accept bitcoin in all their payment modes and hence fiat will remain and people will believe in it. One more point is what and all you can do with fiat currency that you cannot do in bitcoin in current situation. Still their are so many country where Bitcoin is not recognized or cannot do anything with bitcoin in real life. Like in my country still cannot do anything with bitcoin as it is not accepted anywhere in out country the only option is to convert it to fiat currency and enjoy it. So for us Bitcoin is a investment like gold and silver for future benefit but i think now the situation is changing day by day, now you can use bitcoin in local shops in most areas, as the local shopkeepers accept bitcoin for shopping, i still in your area you have no such facilities you should use it for online shopping, on other side it is still good that you can covert your bitcoin into fiat, you can use the profit of bitcoin in form of your fiat currency. Currently that's what is happening, we earn bitcoins and convert it in fiat. The reason is we do not have the same experience of convenience in spending our bitcoin online since we are not living in the same countries.There are countries that accept bitcoin but they are mostly the rich country. At first, there could be some panic selling, but then people would realize that would not be enough to stop people from using it. In fact, this would only promote Bitcoin, making people realize the benefits of using it, and making them realize that Bitcoin is the way. If we stop to think, Bitcoin exists to protect people from the irrationality of centralized institutions. Well, you're right. if governments start does bring orders that, bitcoin is something illegal, then, there will be panic selling. it can make bitcoin prices down very quickly, besides, it would make very many people to lose business, and make unemployment rise again. but I really did not expect this I disapprove these theories. If the governments banned bitcoin, there would be a big hole in the ecosystem which can not be replaced by other currencies and the governments have to accept that there will be a big crash coming. Moreover, Bitcoin forbidden laws could start revolutions all over this planet which consist of many kinds of people including hackers. Bitcoin is first used by hackers and I do not think that they will watch the governments ban Bitcoin without doing nothing That's the possible outcome I was thinking as well, hackers will likely protest in a way which they are good. Imagine the situation, we are denied with our freedom to use bitcoin where in fact we are already comfortable using it as it benefits us. Bitcoin was proof it self being the strongest cryptocurrency, good alternative for people who get saturated of using paper money and such as investment too like you said. Bitcoin have so many benefit so we should believe in bitcoin. That's why we are here because we do believe that the future of bitcoin will bring us good results for our investment. In terms of investment it's good but in terms of currency my evaluation is not really good compared to fiat since it has only a limited way to use it unlike fiat that all transaction honor fiat and it is widely use by all people for their daily transaction activities. |
