This is such a disappointment for bitcoin and this kind of problem might drag bitcoin down and make other people in panic and make their mind set that bitcoin is not a reliable currency and eventually sell their coin and get out from bitcoin. If this problem will not be fixed and let say that the unconfirmed reached up to 500k then it will be a very big deal and people will start to get out from bitcoin. With investment money in bitcoin is risky, certainly bitcoin we drop by up to 100% because even lost stolen hackers, there is no guarantee bitcoin system of safe from thieves.
Can't your fiat money be stolen ? Or your investments in stocks/bonds are coming with zero risk for your money ? Bitcoin is just another type of investment so it also comes with all usual risks typically an investment will be having. 100% drop is only possible with lost bitcoins, value will never drop that much. But, honestly compared to any other investment types like bank deposits/real estate opportunities, I believe bitcoin investment is good as it is fetching high returns in quick times and hence I am ready to bear the risks it is having. Bitcoin has a risk but not that high for an investment because the price is getting stable now because the supply is well distributed to the new users who demanded bitcoins from an exchange. Bitcoin is one of the best investment as well as real estate investment because they are both almost safe investment for me. |

I agree but because of these "Bad guys / Hackers" Bitcoin is getting a bad name is what I am trying to convey . People who haven't heard of Bitcoin before will learn about BTC now and the first impression may not be that good is what I am afraid of. We can't do anything because that is how bitcoin created and it has a feature of being anonymous and that is the vulnerable side for bitcoin because hackers love being anonymous and also the criminals so they take that advantage and use it to crimes and the effect of this is getting involved in the illegal activities and building a bad image towards the people who watches or read news. |

I don't think that bitocin will die soon because it is now pumping and the price is very close to 2000 USD mark and i think there is nothing that can stop bitcoin and it will continue to rise until almost all the stores and people use and prefer bitcoin rather than the fiat because of its features. Bitcoin will only die if there will be no user of bitcoin.

They are both better because both are useful the bitcoin is for online and the cash for offline. To those no internet they used cash but we are have internet and know about bitcoin we used it both. So both are so better.
No, they are both good because if we are going to say that both are better, one should be at good stage and one should be at better stage. I'm into getting used with both of it as they are helping me a lot when it comes to finances and I'm loving the way of using bitcoin for online transactions and cash for real transactions. Actually at the current time both of them are at use and both of them have their benefits and in some places one is not available and in other places the other do not work according to our wish that is why we are using both of them and for some cash is better and for others bitcoin is better but a time is coming when bitcoin will be more popular and all of the people of the world will use only bitcoin and bitcoin will be better for them. The only one that cannot be used at other places is bitcoin because most of the time it is the only one that is giving other countries notice of ban. We all know that all countries are into fiat so others are saying that fiat is better than bitcoin. Well its always better to do both. I was victim of ransomware before and receive the same as this in notepad always popup when restarting the computer

the issue before when found an antivirus that has ransomware decryptor from kaspersky before and all my files was recover but the popup notes are still not gone so i decided to format my laptop for safety since i have my own backup..
This is why a big issue about ransomware that until now not solve..
how did you manage to recover your files mate? did you just paid them what they are demanding? To by pass ransomware, you need to connect your harddisk into another computer so that you can back up all your important files (wallet files/saved password/seeds). After back up, formatting the hard disk and re-installing new OS might save you from paying for ransomware. But it may need 3 to 5 hours of work and you must need another desktop for back up. Yeah, that is the very simple step on how to make sure that we will not pay anything of our own money. Always do a back up because back up is a must in everything that is related in technology not only wallet but also our private files in our desktop and laptop. Not all the times we are safe because there will be always unexpected things. |

I think there is room for "alts" if they can do something better than bitcoin can, or if they can do something that bitcoin can't.
The obvious thing is low transaction fees for smaller payments. Bitcoin seems to be giving up that segment at the moment, though it's possible it could reclaim it in the future. Now's the time that an "alt" could gain traction here.
The most exciting new thing, though, and something that bitcoin doesn't really do at all, is smart contracts.

I agree. Altcoins represent their own unique qualities but they are still not closed to bitcoin. From their name they are just an alternative. I agree , bitcoin will always be the pioneer of all coins , it has the most numerous number of participants and the most investment value, bitcoin is the father of all alternative coins, i think alt coins are depending on bitcoins , it cannot change bitcoin , bitcoin has a stronger market value. and been strongest among all alt coins. Surely, bitcoin is here to stay, it was the progenitor. But it's not so regulatable. Thus is the draw of ETH and XRP, they are mutable enough to control on a state/corporate level. XRP can even be reversed; takes the whole blockchain experience away IMO. Bitcoin will always be ahead in other Alt coins, Alt coins were followed of bitcoin, bitcoin will always be best in features and services . Especially in value and amount of fees bitcoin is in lead. Even bitcoin is the strongest coin right now it is not 'always' the best because there will be a time that an altcoin will created and it will be a lot more better than bitcoin and if the people will attracted to that then then the rest will follow to and that is the time when bitcoin will slowly gets old and at the end being abandoned. |

I dont think bitcoin would be dying soon. But these past few weeks always encountered of delayed transactions that took into 1weeks. They should really resolved this issue, because many people are worrying about it. Thus, ww can observe now that bitcoin price is increasing still these days.
Delays are not indication of bitcoin dying, It is just the result of how many users are already using it. The developer blockchain needs to improve their service and increase data so that in serve huge volume of transaction. There are tons of pending transaction today and and it is not advisable to transact ATM. I agree with you. The delays are just a sign that bitcoin is growing and getting more attention and also user. If there is no delay, i think it is clear that there is only few people using it but the current situation now is opposite to that and a lot of people are investing and buying bitcoin even the price is currently high and it caused too much delay but the core team will fix it soon. |

No doubt its a big yes. It's not going to surprise me anymore if you can buy a car or a house in the next few years. That will probably happen, we just need big companies to adopt with bitcoin and then life would be easy because transaction is fast and we do not need 3rd party. This might really happen since bitcoin been patronize by investors and businessman,than to invest real stock better invest in bitcoin with fast and convenient transactions bitcoin can offer. If i have extra money, i will not think twice but just buy bitcoin and hold them for long term because if we base on the price chart or history chart the price of bitcoin is always going up and it is a sign that there is more chances if we continue to hold our bitcoin for long term and be patience if we experience some loss. |

I think bitcoin network just need more miners so it can sustain the network of bitcoin and to continue working. The only problem for the bitcoin is the volume of transactions that has been done by a lot of new users and the miners are struggling on how to confirm all of those so having a lot of extra miners will help the bitcoin network to be fine again.

We didn't know this could happen, I think it is too much if I use bitcoin on mars, remember at this time the earth does not 100% there is internet access. The technology is really evolving and a lot of things already changed since then so it is possible to use bitcoin in mars because they just need internet connection and also computer then they can do transactions that is easy and fast with bitcoin unlike using fiat. Bitcoin will be perfect fit for the people in the space and mars, in my opinion. |

Absolutely not, except current time. Ability to choose transaction fee on your own, is the one of the greatest Bitcoin's features!
You can even send transactions at a fees of 0.0001 but doing that can lead the transaction getting lost. I received a payment of 10$ and the fees was so low that finally the network rejected it and he told he never got a refund. So basically it was a loss for both of us. Don't be a dumb idiot to save fees you may ended up losing everything you sent The fee of 0.0001 for any transactions is just a history for bitcoin because now the fees are so dramatically high and i just checked the fee for withdrawing in bittrex and they are charging 0.001 per withdraw request on their site and that is very high. I didn't expect that they will charge that high but if it is a bug then they should fix it as soon as possible because that fee is so expensive. |

I think there's a good chance one or two altcoins could surpass bitcoin in the future. Look at Ripple now for instance, with 15B marketcap... I'm still a fan of Bitcoin though, but at current network speeds it is no more than a store of value for now IMO. Other blockchain projects are bringing more innovation.
The price pump of ripple is just a hype for me because if it is real then why it is pumping up and dumping down? So there is just a manipulator in that coin and they are just trying to attract real investors and after that they will dump their bags that is full of cheap ripples and leave the market. |

Advertise bitcoin on TV? Seriously? bitcoin is a currency not a product or brand but it can be broadcasted in news not in an advertisement form. Bitcoin already gain its popularity and that can be consider progress.
Bitcoin gained popularity, but it is not spread in all over the world. To do spread this news we need media support. Only from this support, we can advertise about bitcoin in all over the world. But why it is not advertising in media means, our govt will not allow medias to do publicity for this Bitcoin because there is no income from this Bitcoin to govt. You are wrong because government got the power and if they want something they will get it because they can control everything under them. If they see bitcoin on TV then they will get curious and if they find out that some of the people are making profits in bitcoin then they will make profits too by taxing the possible taxable place for bitcoin like an online exchange and many more. |

I think the only thing we can blame for this crazy increase on the fees is the continuous sending transactions and the unconfirmed transactions are growing more and more and i think this is where the miners take advantage this thing and they charged high fees so they can get profit.

i store my btc in blockchain and when i want to invest i invest it and sometimes when i need money i exchange my bitcoin.
Just an advice, if you have a lot of bitcoin there then do not put all your bitcoins there and learn how to make a cold storage or safe wallet for your bitcoin for long term so you will not encounter so much problem like getting hacked or cannot be open your account. You can use paper wallets which is the most popular here because it is cheap and also invulnerable for hacks. |

Thanks for this, i think op will have a hard time doing this 100 ways on how to earn bitcoin, 2 days in not enough to try them all. Op might choose what ways is the fastest to earn bitcoins. The OP doesn't need to read it all because he can get a fast results if he will do trading because trading is one of the best way to earn or grow our bitcoin because you just need a small capital and after that you can test and take risk in trading and after you get experience and knowledge then it will be enough for you to make a living like my traders friend currently doing. |

I think other countries not supported bitcoin because of their government rules. Bitcoin is anonymous I think this is one of the reasons why its not supported in some countries.
I agree with you that is one of the common reason of a country why they didn't accept bitcoin and just banned it to their country because they are all playing safe and they don't want to get in trouble because they know that bitcoin is anonymous so the criminals in their country can easily transfer funds to another criminal and it will be hard for them to traced them down so they just decided to ban bitcoin. |
