7901  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New money into BTC? on: November 02, 2017, 03:13:34 PM
I believe that the market opened in Japan and China and that a large number of investors from these areas invest in bitcoin.
Bitcoin is now ''big'' news and everybody talking about it, even in official media channels.
Bitcoin has become very popular because of its great profitability in a very short time, and this is the reason for the large number of people entering bitcoin in a very short period of time, specially Japan and China.
7902  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHY NOT ALLOW MEN TO MARRY MORE THAN ONE WIFE LIKE MUSLIMS DO on: November 01, 2017, 09:25:22 AM
When I read such question, I can only ask: What is next?
Why not to allow one woman to marry more men?
Why not to allow child, 3,4,5 years old to marry someone?
Why not to allow man to marry pet?
Does anyone understand how crazy this is?
Do we need, in the name of human freedoms and rights, absolutely allow and fulfill every wish?
I don't think so.
If we continue in such way, we will create only chaos and destruction of normal society.
7903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: purpose of life on: October 31, 2017, 04:18:12 PM
For Christian like me, I believe that the purpose of our life is cannot be answered by our own or personal opinion alone, but by the revelation of the One who knows us better, the Creator of all things in this world. As believer of God these are my 5 Purposes in life;

1.We were planned for God's pleasure
so your first purpose is to offer real worship.
2.We were formed for God's family
so your second purpose is to enjoy real fellowship.
3.We were created to become like Christ,
so your third purpose is to learn real discipleship.
4.We were shaped for serving God
so your fourth purpose is to practice real ministry.
5.We were made for a mission
so your fifth purpose is to live out real evangelism.

You have great purposes in your life Smiley
If you read Bible, everything is in Genesis 1:28: Be fruitful, multiply and have dominion over the creation.
So, use your own potential to change the world, help others, live for others etc.
Second, create good family, centered on God.
Third, protect nature.

7.25.3.6.5  (02-23-1999)
Religious Belief Defined

The term "religious" as used in IRC 501(c)(3) is not subject to precise definition. The leading interpretation of the term was made by the Supreme Court in United States v. Seeger, 380 U.S. 163 (1965), in which the Court interpreted the phrase "religious training and belief" as used in the Universal Military Training and Service Act, 50 U.S.C. section 456 (j), in determining an individual’s eligibility for exemption from military service on religious grounds. The Court formulated the following definition: "A sincere and meaningful belief which occupies in the life of its possessor a place parallel to that filled by the God of those admittedly qualifying for the exemption comes within the statutory definition."

The Court elaborated upon the Seeger definition in Welsh v. United States, 398 U.S. 33 (1970), stating that "f an individual deeply and sincerely holds beliefs that are purely ethical or moral in source and content but that nevertheless impose upon him a duty of conscience to refrain from participating in any war at any time, those beliefs certainly occupy in the life of that individual a place parallel to that filled by... God in the lives of traditionally religious persons." Thus, religious beliefs include many beliefs (for example, Taoism, Buddhism, and Secular Humanism) that do not posit the existence of a Supreme Being in the conventional sense.

Seriously? As far as I know Bitcoin is cryptocurrency , so technically a Currency. Your question is Currency a Religion? Well you cannot worship any other things except God, maybe in some prespective but for me its one way to earn money.

For individuals, purpose of life can be to earn money for their luxury life and they can believe that money can solve all their problems Smiley
Of course, it's very far from real religion, worship, temples or churches etc.
Still, in today's world for the most people money is more important than their own family or own faith.
So, bitcoin can be life purpose or goal for some people but still we can't call it religion.

7905  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Buying and Holding the only way? on: October 31, 2017, 03:53:15 PM
No, I don't think so.
You can collect bitcoin in other ways as well.
At first I bought bitcoin, but now I'm collecting bitcoin through signature campaign.
It's much better way Smiley
Other way is to learn some skills like programming and earn bitcoin for the work done.
Right now, I think it's better to hold bitcoin than to sell, because bitcoin still has great growth potential.
7906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 29, 2017, 10:16:14 AM
Until now, I had 2 strategies.
Part of my btc funds I invested in my own business and some other businesses and rest funds I still holding in my wallet.
It was very good strategy for me Smiley
Now, because of very high btc price, I will just focus on collecting more bitcoin and will wait until bitcoin reach $ 10 000 or more and than I will start withdrawing again part of my btc funds.

7907  Other / Politics & Society / Re: what is the definition of success? on: October 29, 2017, 10:04:28 AM
Most people think that the definition of success is the amount of money on a bank account or a number of houses and cars Smiley
If it were so simple, then all the wealthy people would be happy and successful, and the poor people unsuccessful and unhappy.
Of course, reality is different and many poor people indebted mankind with their success in science, medicine etc.
Success is when something is done for the community, much more than just for yourself or your family.
7908  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can we explain that the bitcoins is not a scam on: October 29, 2017, 09:52:10 AM
If I try to explain bitcoin as virtual currency only, most of my friends will be skeptic.
Also, it's to difficult to explain technology behind bitcoin.
So, I usually first explain that bitcoin is widely used, that many merchants accept bitcoin, that we already have bitcoin debit cards, bitcoin ATM etc.
When they become interested, I explain some technical things.
7909  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jesus Christ is comming back here on: October 28, 2017, 02:02:47 PM
Repeant and surrender yourself to Jesus Christ because He is comming back here on Earth to group us into 2 which the one's will join Him and the other one are the one who does belong. Sinners stop surrender yourself evil is already with in you confess and repeant.

Read the Bible and you see and realized everything is happening and maybe repeated.

How do you know that Jesus has not come yet?
And when he came for the first time, only a few recognized and followed him.
I believe that Jesus talks about love and life, not death and separation.
In the story of a prodigal son in the New Testament, Jesus expressed God's hearth that all people should be saved.
Are you ready to sacrifice your life for this world as Jesus did?
Or you don't want to forgive but only judge others?
7910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you diversify? on: October 28, 2017, 01:41:46 PM
Yes, of course but not only in crypto currencies.
I also invest in business startups, real businesses with real products.
Bitcoin is really a great investment but it has a lot of ups and downs and big competition in other currencies.
I think we should think long-term and not put all hope into one thing, even great as bitcoin Smiley
7911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: October 28, 2017, 01:36:56 PM
It is impossible to answer this question.
We do not even know whether there will still be life on planet Earth after 100 years or whether there will still be Internet? Or Internet?
It's impossible to predict.
I will be astonished if people will not discover some new, better technology and way of payments, than blockchain and bitcoin, after 100 years.

7912  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Legalno poslovanje bitcoinom u HR - Otvaranje firme/obrta on: October 27, 2017, 05:13:15 PM
Pozdrav svima!

Smiley
7913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving Bitcoins for your Children. on: October 27, 2017, 02:48:10 PM
I'm not sure it's good idea.
Everything changing very quickly on Internet.
It is impossible to predict how the situation with bitcoin will develop in the next 20, 30 or 40 years..
Some very rich people, like Bill Gates, didn't give money to their children but knowledge.
We can learn something from it.
7914  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is democracy always necessary ? on: October 27, 2017, 02:34:44 PM
I agree that democracy is not perfect because we can see a lot corruption, lies and bad things in average democratic society.
Still, when we compare today's democracy with social and political arrangements from the past, as feudalism or slavery society, democracy is much closer to a righteous and advanced society.
Democracy is necessary until we find something better.
7915  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: October 27, 2017, 02:28:15 PM
Happiness is feeling or emotion, It's not something you can buy, like house, car etc.
Money is merely a means of achieving something, not the ultimate goal.
For real happiness or joy 2 people are needed, united in love.
Many rich people are unhappy and a lot of poor people are happy.
Who can understand it?
7916  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is falling, But don't worry! on: October 27, 2017, 02:17:44 PM
bitcoin will always grow and fall and it is quite normal, nothing strange about it.
Since I'm in bitcoin, it's constantly saying how bitcoin will fall or how bitcoin will grow and there will always be some panic around it Smiley
For me it's the most important that bitcoin constantly and unstoppable grows, from $250 2 years ago, $700 a year ago to almost $6000 today.
7917  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Isplata u kešu? on: October 27, 2017, 02:05:08 PM
Sve čisto, brzo i jednostavno.
7918  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: October 25, 2017, 07:39:41 PM
It is not easy to be positive in this world where there is so much suffering, misfortune, injustice...
Still, we always have a lot of things to be grateful for, such as family, health, friends etc.
So, it's very easy to be negative because of everyday problems or stress but we need to invest some effort to find positive and good things in our life.
I can always find a lot inspiration when I read about the lives of great people and how they overcome their difficulties and stayed positive.
7919  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Countries with low taxes on Bitcoin profits on: October 25, 2017, 07:32:31 PM
I'm currenty living in Norway. Here we have to pay 24 percent taxes on cryptocurrency profits, and in addition ca 1 percent each year in wealth taxes (i.e., if you own 50 BTC you have to sell 0.5 BTC each year to pay the wealth tax). Because of the tax burden I'm seriously considering moving to another country. Any suggestions?

I'm very curious how did you report income from bitcoin?
For example, in my country, I couldn't report income from cryptocurrency, only ''second income'' from abroad since cryptocurrency or internet income is not recognized by tax office Smiley
I had to pay 25 % tax on my income but couldn't report it as internet income plus I had to pay some additional contributions.
7920  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why do we keep converting bitcoin back to dollars ? on: October 25, 2017, 07:26:32 PM
I had very simple reason for it.
I needed money in order to start my own business.
I also bought some staff as personal computer etc.
Of course, if I knew how quickly the value of bitcoins would increase, I probably would not sell so much bitcoin, but it's easy to be smart now Smiley
I think other people had very similar reasons.
