7901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to sell tokens? on: June 12, 2018, 01:55:44 PM
I'm new, and I wanted to sell my tokens. Advise me of sites for the sales of tokens. Where is the big turnover? where is the easiest to sell?

Your question is a little complicated. If you want to sell tokens, look for the exchanges where these tokens are already listed. There are several exchange sites right now but it is a big possibility that your tokens are not listed on them all. So you have no option but to follow the listing of your tokens. Take note of the volume also. It is better to sell them in the exchange with the biggest volume. It is much easier to sell your tokens there. Most probably, your tokens are now listed in IDEX or in forkdelta. Check them there.
7902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we make sure that our money we invest in Bitcoin is safe? on: June 12, 2018, 12:24:44 PM
I just want to know how those people behind bitcoin secure the money they will invest because as far as I know there are lots of hackers all over the world.

Let me remind you that investment into Bitcoin does not have any safety guarantee. There is risk instead. So you better weigh in on this possibility. Hacking is always getting stronger, sometimes even beating security protocols observed by trusted sites and projects. What is somehow assured though is that you are investing in something that will give you a more than decent gain in the future. So if you are interested in it, know the risks, and use all the safety means to keep your wallet safe.
7903  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto currency in five years! on: June 10, 2018, 02:37:25 AM
Five years is certainly not enough for cryptocurrency to finally reach its utmost goal of shifting the entire world into the digital age, fully embracing blockchain, and tokenizing the entire business community. If we are to look at it from the other side, that means fully doing away with our obsolete fiat system, finally discarding the dominance of banks, etc. That implies a lot of strong contentions from the very powerful people of today.
7904  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can We Finally Call This the DEATH of Bitcoin?!? on: June 10, 2018, 01:42:24 AM
To the one who smoked a ton of pot and made a garbage post in here, I salute you!  Grin Keep smoking, dude! The world badly needs your brilliant ideas.

To the one who recycled the same old doubts and uncertainties on Bitcoin, my hats are off to you!  Grin The past is always more beautiful.

To the one who remained in doubt despite the thousands and thousands in percentage of Bitcoin growth, I really admire you! Remain that way, it is much safer!  Grin
7905  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Checking crypto prices on: June 09, 2018, 06:32:00 AM
I don't just check crypto prices daily. To be honest about it, checking crypto prices has somehow became a sort of addiction. I do that hourly or even more often if I am not busy. I have read somewhere that this is actually one of the symptoms of cryptocurrency addiction. I don't think I am in a grave state though. It is of course normal to monitor closely your portfolio and the prices of your coins because you are playing with the constant movements of the prices.
7906  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin reached its goal? on: June 08, 2018, 07:15:24 AM
Nope, far from there. The primary goal of Bitcoin was to provide the people a mode of payment that will remove all layers in between, thus the peer-to-peer system. However, it turned out that there are some issues that have to be addressed first before this goal will meet its success. Not least of these issues is about transaction fees. You cannot expect Bitcoin to become the main currency of the people if high fees are extracted from the users in every single transaction.
7907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Do you believe in ICO Ratings? on: June 07, 2018, 08:01:09 AM
I see many Websites that provide ratings for ongoing ICOs or for the future. Examples such as the ICObench.com Website, ICOrating.com and others.

Which is my question whether you believe in the rating provided by the website. Seeing many ICO's do not match what they value. Many ICOs are arguably good ratings but when the token sales of the project only reach softcap. And there are projects that I see have a fairly mediocre rating but their token sales reach hardcap. I took the example of Lalaworld on ICObench.com they get Rating 3.7 but their token is sold out.

So let's discuss ICO Rating!

Great observation, my friend. I myself am not that trustful to these ICO review sites. It would be either that these sites are not that comprehensive in their reviews or perhaps they are even assigning a certain price to their ratings. I guess, the main point in their reviews is the complete information and details of the project. But they do not really dig deeper and ask for some clarifications and more explanations from the developers themselves as to the whole deal of the project.
7908  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: June 07, 2018, 07:21:04 AM
Do you believe in the reliability of information obtained by technical analysis on crypto-currency market?

I do believe in them. At the same time, I also believe in the fact that these are purely educated guesses of the next direction the market will take. Meaning to say, there is no guarantee that these technical analyses, wherever they came from, will give us a certain result. The market is only predictable to a very limited extent, especially if we talk of the short term movements of the prices.
7909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am I to do? on: June 06, 2018, 05:04:54 AM
Now all the markets are crashing down and I don't know what to do with my altcoins. My briefcase fell 30% in a couple of days. I'm afraid I might lose more. Selling or hodl?

I don't really understand why a merit is given to this post. There is nothing special about this.

If the market is crashing down, you should not be confused on what to do with your altcoins. You do not have much choice with this situation. Selling is not an option either. It will only give you a permanent loss. Hodl is the better choice even if such option will bring you to an even bigger loss. At least, your loss will not last. By the time, the market recovers-- and it will-- you will get back what you have lost.
7910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin isn't a legit currency. on: June 05, 2018, 07:08:09 AM
To be fair to Bitcoin, I think it did not really fail as a currency. It might not have reached a certain point in which it can proudly say that it is totally successful in being a currency but it did not also fail it. You can buy so many stuff using Bitcoin. That means it is already a legit currency. But it is still on its way to become a fully successful alternative from fiat. It is hard to fully replace fiat. We all know what it takes. It means Bitcoin has to get accepted by the suspecting governments.
7911  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that other coins move faster? on: June 05, 2018, 04:59:49 AM
As regards project development, Bitcoin is clearly slower than several altcoins. This is very obvious. However, since the entire crypto market is not doing as good as it should, all the cryptos, good or not, promising or merely crap, good coins or shitcoins are going down. It levels the playing field somehow. But the biggest reason why Bitcoin remains to be on top despite its slow upgrade is that it is the beginning of crypto. It is the godfather.
7912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: June 03, 2018, 12:58:31 AM
Newbie here... I've been thinking about buying my first crypto. I think I want to buy ETH, but wondering if I missed the boat already?

Primarily I'm choosing ETH because I think there are less foreseeable limitations than BTC, and it seems like ETH is basically accepted everywhere BTC is. Plus its cheaper  Grin

Is now a good time to buy it? Should I wait?

And if you wait, what would you be waiting for? There is no point waiting when the price is already very cheap. It cannot be cheaper than today. The price of Ethereum at this very moment is only at $500 plus. I don't think it will go down lower than $500 once again. It is on its way up but there seems to be a little resistance in $600. But it is almost there. It is slowly breaking it. This month ends with Ethereum reaching around $700.
7913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FreelancerCoin [LAN] A blockchain freelancing platform on: June 02, 2018, 01:00:33 PM
I have not read a single post lately coming from the dev here that assures or responds to the concerns brought by the supporters. They only come here to post. They seem to be oblivious of what the people are saying. They must be too busy to take time reading some important posts. I hope their busy days will bear fruits and effectively carry the project up through the ladder of success.
7914  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Big Banks are so Nervous About Bitcoin ? Why ? on: June 02, 2018, 05:21:56 AM
Indeed, banks have all the reasons to get nervous. The world is slowly turning against them. Gone are the days when they are the ones dictating everything in the world, from whether the poorest of the poor will live another day or not, to who will rule a certain country. That is how influential banks used to be. And with such a huge power in their hands, they only made the world a lot worse than it was without them. Time for a big change!
7915  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government and Bitcoin on: June 02, 2018, 04:33:03 AM
Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?

There are remaining countries that appear have a very strong stance against Bitcoin. There are certain reasons for this. Included in these reasons is the fact that Bitcoin appears to be anti-government. It is being perceived as a way to conduct transactions away from the suspecting eyes of the government agencies tasked to monitor all the movements of the country. The government would never allow this as this might be abused by a lot of frauds.
7916  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: June 01, 2018, 11:10:51 AM
From last few days, btc transactions fees has been reduced remarkably. Even its transactions fees are now lower than bitcoin cash.
are you joking or are you actually serious about this? bitcoin transaction fees have never been high except for a short couple moths that the spam attack was at its most serious. in fact this spam attack ended nearly 6 months ago and fees were normal and low ever since.

Quote
It is really a great news for btc trader i think. How it can help the current market?? Share your logic please .

the "market" and the "traders" have never cared about the fees based on what they have shown during the fee ATH which was at the same time as the biggest price rise.

Same here. I don't care about the fees. If that is what it takes for me to transfer my Bitcoins, then so be it. I have been getting a lot of blessings from this invention. I cannot ask for more. And I notice that the mindset of a lot of true Bitcoin supporters are like this. Bitcoin's bullish growth all through the years is a hard proof of this. Of course, there are disadvantages such as you cannot use Bitcoin to pay for your can of soda. There is always a room for improvement.
7917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I do not know which ICO is good to follow ? on: May 31, 2018, 07:47:56 AM
This market is new. Is there a way to identify a potential ICO for me to invest in it? Many times I see ICO scam I only smile at the time wasted without profit. It's hard

It is really hard. If you are an investor, it is as much hard as it is risky. I would not even recommend for newbies or beginners to invest in ICOs. I would rather see them buying the same tokens from the exchanges at a more expensive price than seeing them discouraged to continue not just with investing in ICOs but with cryptocurrency in general because of their terrible experience. Please, before anything else, read more about ICOs before investing.
7918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FreelancerCoin [LAN] A blockchain freelancing platform on: May 30, 2018, 08:01:16 AM
[Listing announcement]

We will list on the exchange market (coss.io) upcoming 8th of May with great promotion event. ( https://twitter.com/cosscrypto/status/992250354132647936 )

We are very sorry to let you wait for long time. We focused on our product rather than showing up to social networks. We develop all features on our freelancing platform ( https://freelancercoin.io ) so from now, we will focus on communicating with token holders and focus on activating our freelancing platform and FreelancerCoin token.

We will soon start lots of events to encourage investors to purchase FreelancerCoin token including airdrop on the freelancing platform and collaboration project for platform improvement ( including dev, blog, bounty) so please stay tuned.
At least some progress in the project. I would like to believe that it will continue in the future a little faster. Especially because you have enough competitors. And I think that you need to have time to take your place in the market.

The competition is not getting slower. It has always been getting tighter every single day. I can see that almost everyday there is a new coin that is being born. That will make the crypto world full of similar or related projects. This will either make your project stronger or bring it to the grave. Developing your product is good but it is best to make it faster because time appears to be not on our side. If another freelance coin takes the early and better step, you might lose.
7919  Economy / Economics / Re: The HODL strategy is not actual on: May 30, 2018, 07:13:52 AM
This morning I saw an article where a guy made a simple calculation through Google trends about HODL strategy, and it showed that call to HODL used less and less from February of 2018. Popularity of word Bitcoin and crypto currency is also falling down.
Why it is so? Do not people believe in Bitcoin and it's bright future anymore?
No matter on such tend I am going to HODL my founds till bitcoin will not come back to 20k$ Grin

This is not the pure value of hodling that is being shown here. You do not consider hodling if you are only considering a certain duration of time that is considered a terrible bear market. What if I will show the months of August to December of 2017 and claim that it shows how much hodling is very much valuable in the world of crypto? You can always choose a specific period of time to prove something, but if you take it from the start up to now, you will realize how much profitable hodling is.
7920  Other / Off-topic / Re: Money for school fees. Invested in bitcoin. on: May 29, 2018, 07:10:32 AM
Hi there! I just need your advice. I invested the money instead of paying my school fees. Yeah, i know this is wrong because education is more important to us and it can't be stealed from us, i'm still studying but my fees will be doubled on the next payment. But i believe this will end a good result. What do you think about this ? Your advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Oh my goodness! What you have done was a very risky thing that could stop you from getting to school in the next enrollment. Investing in cryptocurrency is not at all an all-good thing. It may happen that your investment in crypto will take almost a year in order to grow. If your investment is taken from an amount that is intended for something else very important, you are committing a wrong thing. If you took this step in January, you will have to wait for several more months.
