I live in a small poor country and we don’t even have a museum! I’ll get my first piece of art! Guys, that’s awesome.

i like this post! lol
this is your chance to own an artwork. and guess what for $1 or so, and AI art on the blockchain? what more can you ask for? normally artworks are for those elites who can afford to buy one. but this project is promoting art for everyone. i think im in for this project!
let us hope that this will be big in the future and DeepBlack will be the first famous AI painter. who knows, your $1 art will be valuable in the future.
7942  Economy / Gambling / Re: exbet.io | The Bitcoin Betting Exchange | Beta LIVE now! DM to join! on: October 03, 2019, 10:35:42 PM
i'm interested to join the beta test and i just PM you now

We just replied - enjoy the beta!

can we access the beta page without signing up? just want to see whats inside and what to be expected here. And what are the currencies that you are going to have in your exchange?

Thanks for your interest AmoreJaz!

We have just DMed you with a link to the beta. You can check out the whole website without signing up. But if you want to place a bet (with play money) you will need to sign up first.

Any feedback you have is appreciated. Enjoy!

appreciate the response and thanks for the link! i know you still have a lot of stuffs to be added but i didnt expect to see a section of politics. thats a twist though! a good addition to loosen up a bit. and also, consider adding the summer olympics tab. still early but you are still in devt mode anyway.

also, one thing that i noticed on your faq section

can you make it simpler to understand for noobs and the likes? i understand what you want here. but most people are oriented using satoshis - using the 8 decimal number. it might create confusion later on if they havent read your faq.
7943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fell again, what conspiracy? on: October 03, 2019, 09:20:07 PM
And then bitcoin increase, is there a conspiracy as well? Lol.

As others have said, the market is full of surprises, one day we panic when we see the price suddenly flash crash and then today we see 3% growth, so is everyone still shock by the price and blame it on conspiracies that the media is trying to picture?

We as crypto enthusiast should isolated those conspiracies or whatever and do think logically.

you got it! lol if every up and down movement will be connected to conspiracy theory, i dont think we will ever go this far. this is just a usual market movement affected by various factors surrounding the crypto community. nothing extraordinary or miraculous event is happening!
we all know that crypto has very volatile market, so we should not be surprised by this inconsistent price movements.

7945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $2 Billion Lost in Mt. Gox Bitcoin Hack Can Be Recovered, Lawyer Claims on: October 03, 2019, 02:21:14 AM
This sounds a lot easier then it actually is, they know very little information about those hackers, and if they do decide to persue this, it'll take a lot of manpower, co-operation between countries, and probably a lot of money for them to recover funds that they will 99 percent end up pocketing...

This is just an attempt for the law firm to get a lot of money, publicity, and then the governments want a cut of the pie, no actual people will benefit from this, which is definitely quite sad considering how much money was lost during the hack.

I'm grateful for the bump, I've actually never seen the article or this thread before.

in a nutshell, theres more than meets the eye in this situation! crypto users who lost money from this hack should not expect anything from this news. sounds great but lets look at the reality!

wonder how far these lawyers will go out their way to follow through this case. or this is just another media propaganda?

7947  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 02, 2019, 10:07:41 PM
So when I go to a betting site I prefer three main things: Trustworthiness, timely and efficient deposits/cashouts, and good support.

Trustworthiness is a major thing for me because I don't want to deposit and have them run off with my money. I would want the platform to receive my money and have it ready for me to play by one or two confirmations(standard protections against double spends which I don't mind), and if there are any problems a good support should be able to help me fix them(or try to fix them) with decently fast response times(or at least a live chat but that isn't really something I worry about too much, long as it doesn't take a week or something to respond or something then I'm fine with a couple hours/a day). I don't really mind KYC but I would prefer to not send it over.
How would you know if a site is trustworthy by looking at it?

you cant assess the trustworthiness of a new site. it will take time to establish their reputation in the market. but if you are a new gambling site and you dont have anything to prove to the players yet, one way is acquiring a decent gambling license if you can afford one. this means, you are serious about this business and not just a fly-by-night gambling website.
if not, it will take time and many players to attest the credibility of the site, good feedback and reviews from previous players will give you insights on how that site is treating its clients.
and on my end, no kyc, fast response of the support, easy txs for deposit and withdrawal, low house edge, provably fair of course!

7949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin QR code on a street art mural in Paris on: October 02, 2019, 03:04:57 PM
This is no longer new. The anonymous painter aka p-boy is painting the streets with his art in paris and is painting his bitcoin qr code for his wallet address allowing donations from bitcoin users. I was following how much did he made for doing such things and in the beginning he received 85$ worth of btc then later on it became 1000$ and the latest info was he have already earned 12500$ more or less worth of btc. Possibly sooner or later many artist will also follow his style since even beggars today are using qr code in begging at streets.

For now it's still pretty new... It's actually my 6th fresco with a QR code till 2 years. I can't wait to see more artists use this!

damn excellent!!! but i noticed that this 6th fresco of yours is located at the top of the building. are there many people going to that building? why did you choose to have your art on that location.
that artwork should be seen by many just like your other masterpieces! another great way of introducing bitcoin to the public. a lot of people will be convinced donating some bitcoin to you. no further questions asked! just look at the masterpiece! who knows, it might pave the way to some people to learn how to deal with bitcoin just to send satoshis to you. kudos to you pascalboyart!
7950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance on: October 01, 2019, 11:00:05 PM
I would like to play devil's advocate
From this article I read
Quote
“Unlike the volatility seen around other cryptocurrency’s in the past, we believe that Libra’s focus on creating a stable, low inflation currency backed by a reserve or real assets is a differentiator. Further, unlike other stablecoins, Libra will not be pegged to one currency but instead a basket of assets ranging from bank deposits to short-term government securities.”
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/06/18/the-difference-between-bitcoin-and-facebooks-libra.html

Will Libra Coin bring Down Bitcoin's dominance in the market, your thought?

That shouldn't be the question, the question would be should LIBRA be able to launch in the market?  There have been lots of opposition regarding the launch of Libra.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/how-facebook-libra-is-seeking-compliance-but-may-not-launch-by-2020
https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonbrett/2019/09/28/congress-questions-the-sec-on-libra-cryptocurrency-and-the-whole-blockchain-phenomenon/#7991717e5135
https://cointelegraph.com/news/german-finance-minister-says-govt-must-reject-facebooks-libra-coin

And if ever it is launched, it will definitely bring down Bitcoin's dominance percentage in the market because it will eat some percentage on that 100% pie.  The extent on how huge  is still unknown because it has yet operating.  Yes, it is a very controversial currency but I believe it won't eat much of Bitcoin dominance since not all facebook users will be using Libra automatically.

and from those facebook users that will initially use libra coin, these users later on will learn the difference between libra and bitcoin, they might eventually go for the latter. their privacy is at stake with libra. and i dont think most people will prefer to have open lives to this platform!
is it okay for you to receive notifications inviting you to some event that you have absolutely no idea and no interest of! or getting a message from nobody that they know you are in town and offering you to a spa for huge discount because you are a libra user? i think this will turn into a creepy app sneaking on your private lives. if it will ever come to life!
7951  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: escortcoin -- FAKE TEAM on: October 01, 2019, 09:32:06 PM
I tried to say that I used placeholder pictures for the homepage. Sorry for the misunderstanding that should have not happend I removed the pics and I will upload the correct ones the next days.

Let me quote myself here....

This is the 5th thread today in which I read that the "mistake" was because of the web designer that used a placeholder...
So he grabbed the first picture of google and....yeah the 5th time today only!!!!!!!!!!!

So you're 6th! Congratulations.

This project is my personal baby and I have spent all my personal money on this!

Ups, I thought it was a team involved, so it's one man show?

And when you see who is involved you will think different... I am a volunteer Firefighter and first responder and also involved is a German police officer and I don't think he will find this very funny!!

Nice...so what's that supposed to be, a threat from a police officer friend or what?
I'm pretty interested also in this police officer of yours, is the department who works for informed he is a partner in an ICO that is supposed to provide access to xxx websites? I don't think they will find it funny either!!!!

And what happened to Robert Norman and Mike Nichols? They decided to stay away from your "project" ? /s

Funny how you have worked in quite some projects, Mr James du Triou.

https://tangocoin.co/  another scam
https://nortcrypto.com/  a dead project

i dont buy the reason of using those pics as placeholders. why put the names below it? he should have put a statement underneath that his site is still under development and the info are not real!
he knows that crypto community are condemning this kind of action because of countless shit coins already, yet he created another one.
he is revealing his profession and i dont think it will help him in further developing this particular platform - escortcoin!  Roll Eyes
7952  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Game on: October 01, 2019, 07:52:33 PM
I followed the link. It looks very good, especially considering the fact that one can earn there by playing without investments, but naturally with a certain skill. And prizes will be given only for 1-3 place. This is true? Are you registered yourself?

You did *****.
In your quest to shitpost you didn't even realize it asks for a 5$ fee to enter, so how is this not an investment?

I don't know if it's Op's website as it does look the domain is least at 200 days old and scams usually are with brand new domains but if you want to give it a try it somehow works with google cache page even without an account.

There was a little work behind it I guess but it is kind of boring and really retro.
Don't know how long a lap is but I got bored and smashed my car in a Vitalik bilboard (yeah it has those in the game).

he followed the link but he didnt see that he needs to deposit $5 worth of crypto before playing the game? lol
and the owner doesnt put much of his effort to have a better UI/UX design. we are already in 2019 not in 90s era.
several months had passed after the dev created this site but seems that no one is interested on this game. time to pack up and move on!

7953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Errol Spence Jr. Vs Manny Pacquiao on: October 01, 2019, 06:08:09 AM
If we will compare the boxing records of Errolr Spence Jr with Manny Pacquiao, it really seems that they are far.
Manny Pacquiao - 62(wins) - 7(losses)  - 2(draws)
Errol Spence Jr. - 26(wins) - 0 (losses) - 0 (draws)

If every we can see a fight between these two great boxers, it should be also like the fight of Keith Thurman for sure. Since Keith Thurman was undefeated before the fight against Manny Pacquiao. But this Errol Spence Jr. is much younger, 29 years old and on his 26 fights, all wins, and really surprising, 21 knockouts on his entire 26 win games.
Well, this fight is not impossible. Hopefully, this will work out.

We should throw away youth if Pacquiao and Spence met, Pacquiao has proven that he still has the speed and power, our analysis now should be concentrated on how good their skills are and match their skills and power, based on their last fight which is always been the basis for future fights, Pacquiao has the edge, the training has a big factor so we'll see how we analyze things when the contract has been signed.

we should not disregard the age as a factor here because we are talking about 11 years of age gap. in some way, it has effect on their performance. however, training and experience will be crucial in this game!
if it will ever happen, the fight result would be interesting to know. just to see how far Pacquiao is in this boxing game.
7954  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin and casinos on: September 30, 2019, 10:55:13 PM
I have worked for a few years in a casino and I couldn't help but imagine that people should be able to gamble with bitcoin.

Is it already happening? - I don't mean on the internet

And do you think this will be future of casinos?
It is possible, could work on the same system that a few online casinos that accept BTC are working on. 0.001BTC=1 chip. Casinos are there to make money, if theres enough public interest, Im sure they will be up for it. Although theres a lot of interest with crypto but I'm not sure there's enough interest for gambling with crypto on a physical casino.
I believe that physical casinos will not even try to switch to cryptocurrency or accept Bitcoin from visitors, because it will not be of a mass nature and they will not be able to expand their circle of customers in this way.  Bitcoin Casino is primarily an online casino where users, while at home, can play gambling without leaving their computer or mobile device, while using cryptocurrency.
You seem unsure of the future prospects of cryptocurrency.  The fact is that people can use bitcoin not only on the network, but also in real life.  That is why the situation with the use of bitcoin in physical casinos is quite possible.  I do not exclude that Las Vegas already practices this. Grin

i guess they will be the firsts to have a bitcoin or crypto offline casino. it is more than possible once they work out the reqmts with regulators. it is only a matter of time to have that kind of direct payment inside the casino tables
and i was searching if there are offline casinos that are into crypto already. in some way, they have but you still have to convert it to fiat before playing on the table. so they dont have yet dedicated games that you can directly use crypto

7955  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ENG] ⭐️⭐️⭐️ [WINSTARS. LIVE] ⭐️⭐️⭐️ on: September 30, 2019, 08:50:17 AM
do you have at least Curacao license for this casino? because when i press the gaming license tab on your website, it goes back to your homepage.
 and are these numbers correct?

the numbers are exact. i dont think those are real stats on your site. please enlighten us on this.
7956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Voyager Park | By Hodler Enterprises | DIVIDENDS WITH REAL WORLD ASSETS on: September 29, 2019, 11:42:43 PM
Max supply is only 10,000 token with sale price 100 euro, do you expect a token that really have a value and become rare token later in the exchange? The ROI also looks insane Shocked

the team should further review these numbers. even if they claimed to be backed with real business, there's no assurance that they will constantly get their customers to maintain their value in the market. not all people can afford to have that kind of lifestyle even if it is not so much to many.
they should think of the longevity of this platform and be realistic with their goals!
7957  Economy / Gambling / Re: bitcasino.io Receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum on: September 29, 2019, 10:26:48 PM
Hi parfumatul,
We’ve recently been made aware of a promotional email circulating from us with the subject line “Receive Free Bitcoin and Ethereum With Bitcasino” with fraudulent purposes, so-called Social Engineering.
It’s important for you to know that the email contained fraudulent Bitcoin and Ethereum wallet addresses where you were asked to deposit funds to receive future interest. These are not Bitcasino wallet addresses, please do not transfer any funds.

The email was not an official Bitcasino email we never sent it out, and furthermore, our security team have confirmed this email was sent out after our promotional email software was hacked.
We are currently working with them to ensure this issue is resolved.

If you would like any further information or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Karl

It would be great if you send out an email regarding this email and the hack so that they know about it. Good that I saw this threat but it seemed fishy that you guys come up with promotional event like this.

i do agree with that! not all users will have the chance to encounter this thread and read whats really going on. but a promo like that is already questionable, check for the authenticity of the email, a user should not jump easily in a very attractive offer. remember, if it is too good to be true, doubt its intentions!
7958  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MOON] Mooncoin 🌙 built in 2013 with future in mind on: September 29, 2019, 09:09:16 PM
Please check this announcement from Novaexchange:

https://novaexchange.com/news/

The Mooncoin owners need to withdraw their coins from this exchange.

It's sad to see NOVA closing. They were a good exchange but just didn't know how to change with the times.

NOVA has made a very good fame until the first announcement of closing in October of 2017. Their decision was a shock for their members. So, they couldn't change the situation in their second effort. The bear market was an important factor too.

didnt take long for them to shutdown again. i thought they will come stronger and better this time but doesnt happen.
mooncoin has been an old altcoin but they are missing the devs sincerity to move forward. community take over? usually this will not last long. hard to maintain the enthusiasm from its community. lets accept the fact that this might be dying very soon...
7959  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitvest.io Sucks, Admin cheat and dont pay, WARNING DONT PLAY ON BITVEST on: September 28, 2019, 11:21:31 PM
Hi macarrao! You should pm lightlord here on this forum he's active here and also, try to pm zodiac or promo in bitvest.io but i think zodiac processes the manual withdraw from the  last i've checked if the admin is online you'll get your money in no time anyway, you should wait for the admin to manual withdraw your winnings and not to play with it since the longer you play, the lesser the winning chance and in the end you'll bust your bankroll.

i think thats the best way to approach this. i dont think lightlord will want to ruin their reputation by not resolving a simple matter from their patrons. bitvest has long been in this community and the OP should reach out to the right persons to resolve his withdrawal issues.
7960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sites to Find New Cryptocurrency Launch Announcements? on: September 28, 2019, 10:13:23 PM
Hi All,

I've noticed that some coins/tokens create their launch announcements on other cryptocurrency forums/threads/boards before coming to announce here on Bitcointalk. I will like those of us who are aware of those other forums to kindly post links to such forums so that more people can be aware and not miss out on new coin launches. Thanks in anticipation. Cheers!!!

Well, bitcointal is and will probably be the no.1 forum for a long time for launch announcements. There are some other forums too but their traffic simply can't compare with this place.. I used to use moonforum once upon a time so that's one I can reference for memory. Just google "bitcoin forum" or "cryptocurrency forum" or something like that and you will get dozens of similar like forums. But as I aforementioned, this is the best place for launch announcements, so you aren't missing anything!

and what is the main reason of the op why he is still looking for another forum to check for new projects? this forum itself is more than enough to get a glimpse of new projects. others like bitcoingarden cant even compete with the traffic this forum is getting. this is the reason why most good projects are launched here because of the huge community it has.
but he can always use the google search if he want more of this.
