81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More SOL outages = Price dump on: June 04, 2022, 01:52:57 PM
IMO, I believe it really affects the SOL price more if these so-called outages on Solana Network will continue, and it might cause to drive away those potential investors that want to come aboard in Solana bandwagon.

Anyway, it is just my opinion, but if we based on the real market situation as we have seen lately it is really happening the SOL price has been declining and I presumed that it was partially affected by these unprecedented outages on the Solana network.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Market 2022 | Back to the Bearish cycle: 2018-2020 year? on: June 03, 2022, 01:53:38 PM
IMO, I believe it is and indeed we are already in the bearish market cycle, Im not an expert on this topic, but I was already here in this industry since 2015, that's why I can compare it, based on my own experience and I, can say that it has a lot of differences in this year compared the previous years.

First, the MarketCap was still high at this moment and most of the top-ranking crypto assets are still traded at competitive prices, thats why at this pace, I think the market is not yet fully influenced, or maybe the market still not yet experiencing the deep bearish cycle just like what happened in 2018-2020 or maybe it will not happen anymore who knows? just an opinion.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you filling your bags? on: June 03, 2022, 01:33:54 PM
Honestly speaking Yes, I add a particular token to my Portfolio and I was planning to hold it but I was only using a minimal amount of funds to acquire it because it's a lot cheaper now.

Anyway, I have some coins in my bag that were still not recovered in their previous price so Im hoping that it will not dip further. because even Bitcoin is having a hard time driving its price upward what more else for some unstable altcoins that I was also holding in my portfolio.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can anyone explain what is the value of meme coins? on: June 02, 2022, 03:13:30 PM
I am confused that there are meme coins whose prices are sky rocketing but I dont see any real value these meme coins are providing

Based on your questions, I think you must familiarize the crypto market first regarding how it works, and behave because if you already know how this industry works, you can easily get an idea, of why even the meme coins prices have been skyrocketed besides it has no real-world uses cases that can drive a future demand of its token.

Anyway back to your question, In reality, I believe that the meme coins are just driven by hype and FOMO, and it's all temporal thats why it will not last long, But on the other circumstances If the meme coin has been back by a large community including whales, I think it's been another story, but it doesn't mean that the project is all good and have potential, don't forget that the meme coins still a meme coin and it will remain as it is no matter how high the price they are already achieved.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Shiba getting rugged like Luna? on: May 31, 2022, 01:47:43 PM
IMHO, I think everyone knows since the very beginning that Shiba Inu is just a meme coin right, and it is very clear that it has no real use cases because it's just a meme coin, thats why it's obvious that it has also no organic demand and thats the reason why the Shiba Inu price is very unstable as we observe even in the bullish market trend because without the hype pushing it Shiba Inu was nothing.

So what can we expect? It's highly possible that anytime soon the Shiba Inu token price might go down to zero just like what happened in Terra Luna. so watch out guys because if that article is true that was a huge red flag and it was a very alarming sign!
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the market rise in June on: May 31, 2022, 01:24:13 PM
Which coin will be ready to buy. It is time to dump the all coin. Can you expect the market to do something good in June. What do you say.

IMO, I think thats was a very uncertain question if the market will be doing good in June because no one really knows about it, however, the crypto market works with full of surprises, who knows? it will work based on your speculations.

Anyway, as we have seen with today's price dips in most cryptocurrencies in the market, another opportunity has opened because I believe it is the best to time to add more crypto to our portfolios because the price is much cheaper but just remember to choose only the potential coins or tokens and avoid those so-called shitcoins.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Insanely high APY projects will lose more on: May 29, 2022, 12:07:19 PM
Agree and I think you were right, thats why we should take heed to that warning. because I also notice that some Defi platforms today are offering too high APY returns, which is very attractive but the truth is it was too good to be true because how the platform will survive with those too high APY offers? It doesn't make sense in my opinion. thats why beware guys about this kind of offer. and sorry to say that Defi hype has already cooled down.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to XMR and other privacy coins on: May 29, 2022, 11:47:18 AM
The less performing top alt to me is Monero, what the hell happened to all privacy coins out there? They dont surge as good as any other altcoins, are people not interested in privacy coins anymore? Or it's the world that doesn't need the idea.

IMO, I think the price is not that bad, for Monero but compared to other privacy-centric coins I don't know what was happening in them as I observe most of them are not moving in terms of prices, but it doesn't mean that the industry is not needed them, because the truth is we still need a privacy coin. Anyway, I suspect that the reason maybe was the government crackdown on privacy coins because they are giving them headaches coz until now, no one has been able to crack the Monero code. just my opinion!
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB or ETH ? on: May 28, 2022, 01:50:22 PM
What's your ultimate choice? Or both?  Smiley

IMO, I believe that both coins have possessed the capability and potential that everyone needs in this industry, thats why I will pick both of them. Anyway, Ethereum was my second coin in position after Bitcoin, way back in 2015, and BNB during 2017, But since then many important events have been influenced on how we made our choices, and honestly speaking I started to dislike Ethereum when its transaction fees hit an all-time high, I feel I was robbed every time I sent ERC20 tokens on an exchange and even to other wallets but lately, that problem has been solved and fees on Ethereum network becomes normal.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So my portfolio is down %70...too late to pull back now I guess on: May 28, 2022, 01:32:44 PM
This downtrend has been detrimental to my health (mental health). Exactly %70 just now. No lunch money type of money either.

Have we ever experienced this kind of downtrend before?? What's the latest on how long this might last, or if it's even going to recover.

I understand how you feel, it's very hard to accept that reality, Im also experienced that in 2019 and it's really hard. Just Imagine 70% of your portfolio was already wipeout so that was really hard to accept that it was happening. but don't let that feeling devours you.

I believe that in crypto everything is possible, so just don't lose hope, because until you hold that portfolio and you won't sell anything, you have still a chance to recover it. just think positive, 2024 is another halving year so who knows that Bitcoin price will achieve another ATH milestone.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL on: May 27, 2022, 02:30:25 PM
My portfolio is a wide net. 50% BTC & ETH. It's fascinating watching altcoin behavior in this downward spiral. Some unexpected surprises... Braintrust 😉. I haven't invested more than I'm willing to lose. Though down about 55% I'm in for the long term. HODL !!!

IMO, I think your portfolio of choice is good and strong, and your mindset is very positive and always ready, and for me, thats good I like that positivity it was appropriate for this kind of industry that is full of speculation and uncertainty.

Anyway, based on your thread your portfolio is made up of Bitcoin and Ethereum thats why I believe it's a very good portfolio for long-term holding. keep the spirit of positivity as we cope with the test of time.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Fate of Luna Project on: May 27, 2022, 02:05:54 PM
The Luna 2.0 airdrop is near, do you think that Luna can make a comeback and proof us wrong? Or whatever Luna does it won't matter anymore? Because I haven't seen a project that stand on its feet after making such a mistake,  they always go down.

IMO, I think it's better to wait until the full implementation of the said Luna 2.0 update before we judge its outcome if it was a success or just a total failure, But for now, let us focus on more important things that can influence the crypto market like the upcoming bearish season on how we can minimize its impact so that we can prepare and sort the things out before we hit that scenario.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Is A Scam Like Terra Luna And Only Makes Millionaires Rich Who Hold 1000ETH on: May 26, 2022, 12:40:35 PM
IMO, I think this accusation is not new anymore, in fact even before there are some people accusing the Ethereum project as a scam and Ponzi scheme-driven platform. But through the years the platform has survived and developed and turned into one of the most popular cryptocurrencies in the crypto industry next to Bitcoin.

So what I was pointing out here, Is anyone can say and believe, what they want to believe, It's a free world, but just remember that at the end of the day we will be the ones who regret if the results are different from our own expectation, just like what happens in Ethereum.

IMO, I believe Terra Luna and Ethereum has a lot of differences, They are founded and exist at different time, and in the different market situation, so it's inappropriate to compare both because they are not incomparable in many aspects, and thats what I believe
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: step.app on: May 26, 2022, 11:54:48 AM
IMO, I believe it was a very interesting idea and might be the next hype in the crypto industry. Who knows that just like other ideas it might become another big hit, that can give its early users and investors a great opportunity for a bigger profit thats why I think we must consider it as a rising trend. but it is not a piece of financial advice, After all, we are still responsible for our own actions.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How centralized stablecoins keeps their value? on: May 25, 2022, 03:38:59 PM
IMO, I believe that not all centralized Stablecoins have proven pegged to 1-1 against USD, But so far *USDT tether has been challenged through an audit and I can say that it was consistent for now, that USDT was backed by a reserve maybe they have a lot of *BTC and USD as a reserve currency. But what if the USDT will experience a massive dump like what Terra Luna's UST Stablecoin has experienced, can USDT still survive and retain its stability?

Anyway, another centralized Stablecoin like BUSD was also boosted that they are very sure that it was pegged with a 1-1 against the USD and guaranteed by no other than CZ himself the CEO of Binance. So I think thats the reason why BUSD is also Stable. it was truly backed by a Bitcoin reserve base on what CZ is saying.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoin price drop is an excellent time to buy bitcoins on: May 25, 2022, 03:13:30 PM
IMO, Yes I believe it is, when the Bitcoin price experienced some corrections many investors mostly whales have rushed in to accumulate more Bitcoins from the panic sellers, and it's not a secret anymore because thats what they do every time the market has been experiencing some downtrend and for that reason, many whales are getting richer and richer when the market is bullish and recover again. And IMHO, even $26.5K per Bitcoin can be attractive to those so-called whales who knows?
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: South Korean police request exchanges freeze LFG related funds on: May 24, 2022, 12:30:05 PM
IMHO, I believe it should be done accordingly because as far as I know many South Korean investors were also affected by the recent Luna and UST Stablecoin price crash, And for that particular reason, I believe that there should be a deep and thorough investigation will be conducted to dig deeper into the cause and to know if what was really happened on that day. thats why I think that the South Korean police request has a valid reason that every exchange in South Korea should be followed.
98  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should LTC return as a silver to BTC and being ranked in the top 5?? on: May 23, 2022, 02:39:03 PM
IMO, and Honestly speaking I'm not convinced anymore that Litecoin will regain its former status as the silver standard next to Bitcoin because if we examine closely the crypto market lately there are a lot of new Blockchains with competitive coins armed by multiple use cases and backed by a strong community of users and investors thats why I believe Litecoin was already behind in the race especially more on "technical aspect" thats why for me, it was not really an undervalued coin. so I guess we must ride with the flow so that we are not tied up with the past.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: where does the price of bitcoin come from? on: May 23, 2022, 02:08:30 PM
who is the person who says that today it should be worth 40k and tomorrow 42k? isn't it something decentralized that nobody controls? who agrees on the price to be like this?

IMO, I believe everyone can speculate and predict the future Bitcoin price, But nobody can control it. Because the price was purely based on the supply and demand, meaning the traders are dictating the price on a daily basis, and the buy and sell movements can affect the daily price volatility of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the market. And if the market has a bearish sentiment which results in fewer bitcoin buyers we can expect the Bitcoin price to go down, but if the market is Bullish in sentiment meaning there are a lot of potential buyers we can expect that the Bitcoin price will go up because the demand was there.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trustable currency on: May 22, 2022, 02:17:09 PM
Guys, Can you really name the coins/tokens that you trust the most?

I think it depends on our personal choices, but for me, I will choose Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance coin, that was my top 3 trusted coins in the market, My reason is they were recognized by most crypto tracking websites in the industry, second, is their founders are so popular and always seen around thats why I can say that they are the most trusted crypto coins in the entire industry.
