I do wonder though why the drop in XSPEC has been so large in comparison to bitcoin and most other alts. My best alts had a 15% drop, average I would say it was 25% and XPEC had 43%.

Do you own whats in your signature? This was taken from CMC just afew minutes ago and the last figure is 7 day, which is about when nearly coin on cMC started dropping

256   DeepOnion   ONION   $39,918,686   $8.30   4,808,420   $434,801   -7.70%   -20.81%   -52.69%

225   Spectrecoin   XSPEC   $48,518,211   $2.33   20,785,264 *   $363,740   -4.84%   -23.42%   -48.69%

So please take your onion hat and your fud elsewhere

what fud? I said XSPEC dropped 43%. Your quote says 48%. Is there anything unreal in what I said? Where is the hostility coming and comparisons with DO? I never started such a comparison for obvious reasons which I'm not willing to go into. If you are smart then you know why.

And yes, I also own some DO, in a portfolio of around 10 coins (you can guess which from my posts very easily). What I said is still true and XSPEC has taken a bigger hit then most coins and I was curious why. You will always find somebody that got it worse but that doesn't make it any better. I don't want to turn a simple fact/observation in a useless debate over which coin is better and whose d is bigger.

Men, sell all your coins, and go find yourself a job (its safer and for your ability better) ..... can't you read a chart ? read it again...... "if you are smart then you know" no we don't know... tell us...

I feel like a grandpa explaining abc to a 2 year old now.. go to trending "gainers/losers" and you ll see that from 1 to 30 THAT MEANS ALL COIN/TOKENS listed there in 7 days decreased varying from 92 to 67%.....

Again, maybe you should consider reading more patiently, or quit this game and like i said find yourself another job...

Not my fault you can't read between the lines.

I however have no idea why you feel the constant need to insult. You may be compensating for something or are simply too salty because of your losses ...I don't know. I asked a simple question because I wanted to hear the opinion (or a confirmation of my thoughts) of others. EleanorZ gave me the answer I was hoping for. Now go and find somebody else to pick on. We are not in high-school anymore.

it seems to me that high-school is still far away for you. don't matter but proper reading should answer most of your questions... first read, if its not clear then ask. sounds simple but for many too difficult...

Substratum Ramblings Part II

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-N5qW8bgpw&feature=youtu.be

In this video our CEO discusses:

What We Have Proved:  our Network works!  Alpha I Test Video is on YouTube and Alpha II Test Video is upcoming as we move into PUBLIC BETA.

What We Learned:

We learned we can render NOT ONLY Substratum Hosted Web-sites but ALL Web Content through our network, even non Substratum Hosted sites like Facebook or YouTube for people who run a node.

We learned we needed more advanced routing & security to make that take place.

How It's Better

Mass Adoption will be MUCH faster with this Unstoppable "VPN" (Note - Substratum is not a VPN but this is an expression so people understand what we are referring to).  Anyone running a node gets FREE access to the entire web and also gets paid in $SUB for requests they serve.

CORES Network - our CORES network is a beautiful innovation.  More information will be given at our SUBLOCC meeting so make sure you stop by or watch the video here on YouTube.

What It Cost Us:

Like all lessons in life it cost us more time and money to learn these things; however, we learned them BEFORE making multiple inferior releases.

Our goal is to change people's lives through free and open communication using the free & open web not realize quick and temporary gains.  The gains will come In the LONG TERM in a HUGE way when we deliver the PERFECT product.

thank you. VERY good and satisfying news, as the future of sub is looking great. this is a real deal and a real company

as far as the new updated wallet, it's great. BUT maybe the timing could be better.. as i do understand that is had to come out earlier to satisfy the holders.

catch me on the moon with your lambo Wink

serious guys, for most gents cryptocurrency is just a way to earn some money. Nothing more, nothing less.. they speculate, they invest, they buy, they sell, they hold, they win they loose... and for some it's a change to slightly change the world. It's all fine as long as we respect eachother. we all hve been posted 'to the moon' or 'lambo' or something similar. sometimes you hve to have little fun... as long as you don't invest more then you can loose.

let's be more friendly as we don't know eachothers stories.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero - A secure, private, untraceable cryptocurrency on: January 16, 2018, 05:37:37 PM
what about the other privacy coins with possibly better features ? someone has looked into them as well ?
Don't stick blindness to 1 coin, as there are maybe other good privacy coins as well.. possibly even better....

Do the best choice https://www.bitcoinbeginner.com/blog/privacy-coin-comparison/

Do your research: https://i.redditmedia.com/oCnAtKJmwFoCXe-KHRv2wklhqADcWHuldfTEcligpQg.jpg?w=1024&s=77a5a8026f2db881346b0c6b1eecf038

Don't get angry now, as im am also a (for some large) holder of Monero. but i am always looking into more privacy coins, as i like them, and they have great potential in 2018/2019.. (there are also other coins, like Sumokoin, dash, deep onion etc..

If you were to do some research for yourself,  you would understand that there currently are NO viable private currencies other than Monero, with ANY feature set.  Go read something(and not just propaganda Roll Eyes).  Spouting ignorance and then accusing others of wearing blinders.  That's rich.

To be clear with you guys. One can never be succesfull starring blind to 1 coin and stick to it for the rest of your life. This is a forum where people can and may share opinions with eachother. Ofcourse there are more coins like Monero with een better technology (on purpose i don't mention them here as this topic is for Monero only)

but again, don't feel attcked by someone, if he just ask a question, and certianly don't protect a specific coin with your soul, as anyone can invest and invested in it too... as far as you want to know the other coins, and you are obvious unable to research yourself, send me a PM (ONLY you, as i won't reply to others).

Regarding to the word "propaganda" i feel sorry if this word comes on your mind as i now would believe you live in a hostile and anti-democratic area. Best wishes!
End discussion, as there is none.

And I see we have another troll in the neighborhood to ignore... he's just trying to correct our thinking about privacy because none of us have done any research.

You make me feel sick. the fact that you can't answer a simple question, let alone understand the question.... and get upset about it, shows your childish and poor mindset. No way you are able to be a holder of this coin (maybe you bought 0,02 Monero from the pocket money your mother gave you... get milk and go to bed..

People like you drive away new investors/money...

Waiting for my Jr. membership to arrive so I can add the signature to my profile. 2018 Will be the year for spectrecoin. Stealth staking is just around the corner, no other coin can do this for the moment.

speaking of this, I asked but haven't received an answer. Why are signatures segregated on ranks? What's stopping me from picking the signature that I like?

There's a bitcointalk limit to the number of characters that you can carry based on your rank. Higher tiers have more available characters for their signature.

That make sense!
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Spectrecoin[XSPEC] TOR+OBFS4, Ring Sig, Stealth! on: January 15, 2018, 08:55:22 AM
xspec needs to go on a bigger exchange so ppl start tor ecognize it  Wink

the devs don't want that. They want to keep it on small anonymous exchanges

I don't think it's the size that matters (at least in this case). It's the requirements around the exchanges listings. If Bittrex or any of the big exchanges would approach XSPEC to be listed because they are interested in listing a coin with immense potential, then this would certainly not be declined.

That said, I suppose that with with staking donations in place, and once the devs have received their fair share to continue their work, the decision of how to put any left-over money to use should be decided by the community. And if the community feels that it's more worthwhile to spend the money on getting listed on an exchange than, for instance, hiring more devs, or spending on marketing, then I'm sure the project would not resist.

But again, for that we need to have the money in the coffers, and the devs need to get reimbursed properly.

the world doesn't work like that. Exchanges don't approach you. You approach them and also pay them to list your coin. Cheapest exchange is Cryptopia where you need to pay around 100k dollars. The bigger ones are about twice as expensive. On top of that you need to guarantee some volume

As far the money goes, i don't know the current financial situation of the team and their budget.. Regarding to the volume (guarantee) no one can look into the future and "guarantee" something in the field op cryptocurrency. I'd go for the positive and see where it goes...

I think the bigger exchanges should allow (and possible they do) a reasonable timeframe to meet he minimm trading volume..

The way your website look, its no way near the Microsoft. Not even on the help page of Microsoft, you claim that this coin will likely be the new Microsoft yet you don't posses a proof to prove it.

www.fluidledger.com

The website has a 70 percent conversion rate!
Proof:study the website some more!
Thanks for subscribing for the coins!

So what do you have to say about that?

gtfo dude hahaha you just a clown or bot repeating the same posts...
conversion rate has NOTHING to do with a roadmap being fullfilled or a decent project NOTHING at all....
show me google anlytics to prove the 70 percent conversion rate.... and what is the target of the conversion.... getting people to stay 10 seconds on the homepage...

Here we go again....
Multiple posts, all the same, no information given, no questions answered, not even talking about the questions, picking on words...
advertising with Microsoft, which has nothing to do with this altcoin, ect, etc, etc, ......

he's even warning you xd

www.fluidledger.com says

Dont get involved then!

xspec as 2018  will be all about privacy coins guys... more countries block crytocurrency and demand for these anoncoins will rapidly increase as my feeling says.
Substratum also good one and snm at the end of 2018

i think so too, don't get fooled by the corrections these days, its normal...

My guess: privacycoins (anonymous coins) will be the next hype in cryptocurrency!
