81  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ciuciu's "guaranteed" bond on: January 16, 2013, 03:18:56 PM
Just to share my toughts with you. I will start repaying only when I recover my assets from GLBSE.

The main assets where GIPPT bonds which where sold by respected members of the community DeadTerra and INAU. As you can see GIPPT were guaranteeed and they did not return the shares yet. I haven't seen anyone complaining and DeadTerra and INAU are not marked as scammers yet.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=96793.0

Again, you are asking me to repay something it was stolen from me by GLBSE, folowing a list given to me by the thief, which is GLBSE. I never guaranteed that GLBSE will not implode or steal the assets and I believe you shared the risk with me when you agreed to use GLBSE.

In conclusion, after I get the assets back I will start making payments as I recover the BTC from the issuers.

82  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Afraid of risk? CIUCIU.BOND 1.1% weekly guaranteed bond on: January 05, 2013, 01:09:54 PM
What is a GIPPT? something related to pirate40? Then just pray.

PPT = Pirate Pass Through

If you don't know what GIPPT is ask DeadTerra and INAU or use the search function before talking. It was a guaranteed PPT investment.

Mircea Popescu you are right about the porn, be warned it involves your mother.

So what's the latest on this guaranteed bond?

Timeframe for guaranteed payments of principal?

I'm still waiting for GLBSE to return the bond assets. I will have a time frame shortly after.

Please PM or post here for interest. We can do close to Gox and I can do small amounts as long as they aren't under at least 100 USD or so. My feedback can be found all over here.

I can either get you GC code or purchase something and send to your address.

Thanks.

I did two separate transaction for Amazon GC with BitCoiner2012. He is easy to deal with and fast. Would recommend!

Thanks again.
87  Economy / Securities / Re: Just got an email from James Regarding GLBSE Payments on: December 10, 2012, 11:42:15 PM
I had been sending him and email weekly stating that I had still not received the balance of my account (a moderate sum.)

The email was as follows:

"Hi Q.
payments are being made tonight and tomorrow.

"

We will see if he comes through.

I received a partial payment from James.

89  Economy / Securities / Re: 16 future contracts now trading on MPEx. on: December 10, 2012, 08:31:03 PM
Yeah. Well, ciuciu, I may (or may not, it's still in question) have lost out on some profits on the F.GIGA.ETF issue, which I did purchase at fire-sale prices out of prior profits. In all the time I've been on MPEx, I haven't lost my principal, and when I've requested it, it came right away. (Even after I found myself vocally irritated with MPEx, there was exactly 0 delay)

I paid to make profits. I've made profits. I fail to see how profiting = getting raped, but, hey, I don't really expect you to grasp complex financial concepts. (as is obviated by your offer of guaranteed yields on your bond)

But what doesn't seem to change is your offensiveness, and elevated interest in Mircea's porn, especially interest in whatever "illegal" porn he might have. Funny. (It may not be illegal for him to post a 16yo girl, but it sure it illegal for you to look at it!!!)

So, while my trust in MPEx has been diminished, it's not extinguished. My trust in you, ciuciu, has never been established. And won't be.

Well Guruvan, LOL as per your 16 year old writing style, just wait for the next one. Enjoy!
And to paraphrase Mircea and his friends, it is OK to look at porn and even to make it, as you both do LOL you pathetic imbecile.

Thanks.
No I have not received the list yet.

Are you in contact with Nefario? He answers questions very fast lately.

Yes, he is very trustworthy. He is close to getting a scammer tag.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=129544.0

LOL. Almost as trustworthy as you. How long before your investors start asking for a scammer tag on you, now that you've let them know it'll be more than 1 yr to get fully paid.

Guruvan, the difference is that they will get paid. However, you won't. You paid to be raped by Mircea, and it seems you enjoy it.
Where are the pictures you promised? Mircea, tell us when you post them on your "different line of business" website.

I have an amusing theory.  Only a theory, but one consistent with the known facts.

MP doesn't own any Giga bonds.

Let's look at the known facts:

MP bought a bunch of Giga
MP ran a pass-through based on those bonds
MP was apparently not making any profit from those bonds (claimed by MPOE-PR) other than any extra custom it brought in MPEX' direction.
MP had a very low opinion of securitiess on GLBSE and of GLBSE itself - and actively sought opportunities to short them.

So isn't the obvious scenario that those giga bonds were sold on the market and the pass-through effectively acted as a short on them with the following benefits over a 'normal' short:

No expiry date or means for the short to be recalled/expired.
No premium paid on dividends or up-front.

With the upgrade pending to teramining there was no conceivable way this could fail to profitable - as the pass-through obviously wouldn't upgrade and then the bonds would sink to near zero value (and cost to mantain) and could be bought back on the market at bargain-basement prices and the issue closed out.

Only way this could possibly go wrong is if for some unforeseen reason there was suddenly a requirement to prove ownership.  And that's what just happened.

There's no way to PROVE this is what happened if MP claims he hasn't even registered a claim with GLBSE - that is until the total bonds claimed gets so near to the actual outstanding ones that there's no longer enough unclaimed yet to cover the ones supposedly held by MPEX.

Using the pass-through as a means to short makes a lot of sense.  It's consistent with all the known facts.  But is it the truth?  I don't know - but it's an amusing theory if nothing else.  And of course it's very easy to disprove (if untrue) - just needs MP to submit an email/BTC address to GLBSE and have Giga confirm that the correct number of bonds is associated with that address.

He shorted pirate with his pirate.synth fund -  an (illegal in the EU) naked credit default swap.

I know why there are not many complains in this thread. In fact nobody bought his shit, except for his former fan guruvan. Mods, what is the decision?

As the title says. I've had two successful transactions here, we can discuss who sends first via PM.

Either post here or PM (preferred) if interested.

Thanks!

I'm interested.

Thanks.

I'm sure this theory is true. A spammer is always a scammer.
97  Economy / Securities / Re: [GLBSE] Afraid of risk? CIUCIU.BOND 1.1% weekly guaranteed bond on: December 08, 2012, 05:51:54 PM
To all shareholders,

I have received a list from Nefario. However, I did not receive all the assets of the bond from Nefario.
At the moment of closing, CIUCIU.BOND had over 500 GIPPT and 37 BTC in the GLBSE acount.
This will be paid to the shareholders, when I receive them from GLBSE and the GIPPT issuers. The difference will be supported from my pocket.
As mentioned earlier, I will not be able to pay any divident from the moment GLBSE closed.
Regarding the payments I have to make, I'm sorry to tell you that they will be at a slow pace and it may take more than a year.

I understand this will not make all of you happy, but this is all I can do in the given situation.
I will go over the list and inform you if any verification steps will be needed.

Thank you.

Asset lists
by James McCarthy
Most users have had their details sent to issuers for the assets listed below. If this is not the case please send an email to james@glbse.com

This includes users who have not been able to login (lost their 2fa or password) and those who's claims have not been included for whatever reason.

If you sent an email some time ago and not heard back, please try again, updates are coming out quick. Friday is going to be the same. Most issuers should have at this point the vast majority of their shareholders details.

ASIC.COOP

[...]

To all shareholders,

I received a list from GLBSE. I will go trough it and send emails to each of you, hopefully by the end of the year. I can't do it faster, I'm very busy. If I have any suspicions regarding the list, I will figure out some form of verification. Until then please discuss where can we relist ASIC.COOP.

Please be patient.
100  Economy / Securities / Re: F.GIGA.ETF to be delisted on December 1st, 2012. on: December 07, 2012, 01:37:18 PM
I maintain that the shares are not worthless, simply untradeable.

Look (obviously MPOE-PR is too financially ineducate to comprehend this point):

If you you bought some AAPL, and then that stock was delisted, do you figure your investment in AAPL is now worthless? Over $500/share and you'd still say it's worthless? The company is still operating and you say the shares are worthless?

MPOE-PR, you should either
A. Learn English (i.e. the definition of "worthless")
B. Go back to finance school, you clearly missed a few days
C. Get "Mr. P" to put the assets back in our portfolios
or
D. Inform Mr. P that the community is going to determine he's a scamming scumbag, and MPEx will quickly go out of business.

Guruvan, what happened, did your honeymoon with Mircea ended?
