Let's focus on the technical side - accusations fueled by greed are harmful and nothing else. I hope the project will be successful and that's the thing we should pray for.
what difference from this shit and an exchanges stack?
really fuck this distribution) i will sell my micro stack as soon, as it possible lol. Just because you accept ICOs shit. Have fun with waves/lisk devs Angry

A lot of irrationals here. The dev give you free coins, as compared to many stupid ICOs, yet so many complaints about the fairness of distribution. Guys, if you don't like it, just don't get it. Don't be so greedy with nothing at all.

what's the point to relaunch a crappy coin?
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KURT] KURRENT - First Zerocoin that uses X11 algorithm on: December 23, 2016, 08:15:33 AM
as I understand this is only just beginning of this coin... although I did not hear much from dev recently I would give it a try... consistence is better than speed...

I am sure the dev team is committed working on it, will be good to share some news.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing the birth of Atlascoin on: December 12, 2016, 11:22:23 PM
yes it looks like a shitcoin with some buzz words.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: GNEISS (Global Network Encryption Investment Security Service) ALPHA Launch &ICO on: December 12, 2016, 09:43:10 PM
with nothing new in tech:
newbie launch a new coin = fail
newbie launch a new coin with ICO = get-money-quick and dump scheme = scam and shitcoin

I've just noticed that kurrent is at voting list on c-cex... lets help and vote for it!

https://c-cex.com/?id=vote

ok, will vote ;] more exchanges is always better for a coin!

Not sure how effective the voting is. I saw in their list some really old coins that are still stuck there. Either you pay them with enough bitcoins or have to wait for long long time. Or if the coin gets hot they will always take it, all they care is their commission.

and how is this exchange doing in comparisson with yobit?
I see that 3 first coins on voting list paid up to 0,5 BTC... is it worth it ?
In comparisson listing at yobit costs only 0,1 btc...

I don't think exchange matters. The price need to go up, otherwise in a bigger exchange it will be just dumped. To make price higher, we possibly need some promotions. Dev team is doing their work, so it is great.

Sharma, am I enrolled in the campaign? Is the spreadsheet updated? I don't see my name listed there.

Yeah, with this genius traders KURT is stuck on yobit ;(

Unfortunately, Kurt is only actively being traded at Yobit. If it could only get more trading volume, then I think for sure that it may continue to rise in price, but since movement has focused towards Yobit, then prices have been moving very slow. However, it is still a good entry point to grab cheap Kurt before the opportunity is gone. Maybe someday, Kurt could get added to bigger exchanges like Poloniex or Bittrex.

Nevertheless, all we need is good promotion, and a dedicated team in order to help make it succeed for the long term.  Smiley

Yobit trading is pretty active, of course we'll need bigger exchanges. With committed dev team, I am pretty optimistic about the future of the coin. I think dev should organize some signature campaign or twitter campaign so more people will know about this coin.

How do you plan on adding PoS?

PoS codebase can be ported into Kurrent code base, but this will take some time as the code is tedious and inter-related with PoW code.

Yeah not many people have done it, that is why I have asked. I have done it before (for DNET), and it really makes you wonder why someone wouldnt just clone a hybrid to begin with.

No-one has done it for a zerocoin feature altcoin.

The last two days good trading volume of KURT at Yobit, looks like some people are accumulating Cheesy

Saw some big volume trading at Yobit. Someone is accumulating or some traders play the pump and dump game?

I really don't know what to expect here... current prices are very tempting ;-)))

BUY!

network hashrate increased recently

{
"blocks" : 11600,
"currentblocksize" : 0,
"currentblocktx" : 0,
"difficulty" : 102.76536706,
"errors" : "",
"generate" : false,
"genproclimit" : -1,
"hashespersec" : 0,
"networkhashps" : 11228762524,
"pooledtx" : 0,
"testnet" : false
}

It will decrease after the market load is released and motivation to mine faded out, as peanut hunters have infinite number of useless dust to dump and leave the ship faster than support gets built on or new money attempts to sustain a floor.

of course the mining is all depend on the profitability. Anyone knows how the profitability of this coin compared to other X11 and/or zerocoin? I don't see it in the usual profitability comparisons.

looks like this coin is dead...
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ZOI] Zoin - Zerocoin based privacy - CPU - No founder's reward - 0.8.7.4 on: December 01, 2016, 03:14:50 AM
I dont think "virus" is a real issue, many being detected with "bitcoin miner" which is perfectly normal as there is a miner in the client. I just don't understand why price is going down to hell. I used to mine this coin but now there's no point of mining it.

Yes maybe dev need to give a roadmap in order to give some confidence on this coin...
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KURT] KURRENT - First Zerocoin that uses X11 algorithm on: December 01, 2016, 03:13:49 AM
I am surprised to see the very first Zerocoin fork that implements the X11 algorithm. This is usually preferred, rather than CPU mining as there exists some X11 ASICs to mine it, as well as it is much more efficient to mine it with GPUs. Nevertheless, it is good to have a Zero Knowledge Proof crypto currency that does not implement the 20% founders reward tax when mining it.

I'm looking forward to invest deeply into this project as well as support it for the long term.  Smiley

Yes this is a good coin. I also like the X11 so GPU can be mined. The Lyrav2 algo uses CPU, I am not against it, but I always heard rumor saying there are secret GPU miner, which is scary and I no longer mine Zcash or Zclassic.
