81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] WARNING, EMUNIE IS AN ELABORATE IPO SCAM on: January 11, 2014, 10:14:22 PM
What you do with your money is up to you. The dev has been known to brag about money that he has scammed from other people. He will likely brag about how much money he scammed from eMunie investors.

You may want to fix all the hyperlinks in your OP as actually none of them work. Doesn't give a good impression.

So it's not this one then (or the previous 2 versions of this QBT)?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345328.0

no, it's different coins

Why on earth create a new coin with a name the same or similar to one that already exists and also use the same 3 character ticker code as it?  Crazy idea given if you are actually trying to create a genuine new coin and want to invest time and effort in building it's profile why would you want any confusion?

Good luck but seems strange move to me!

There already is a Qubic coin, this isn't nice of you to make such same name
its not Qubic its QubitCoin..

So it's not this one then (or the previous 2 versions of this QBT)?

I've always wanted to know what people mean when they comment "reserved" on these posts can you explain it to me?

It means the thread shows in their list as one they have contributed to, so it is easier to use the 'Show new replies to your posts' option you'll see in the top left of your browser window to find the things you are interested in. Alternatively, it means they are saving the space to post something later, normally on first page of thread!
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [GLB]Globe – Revolutionary crypto currency - Fast , Backed, Stable on: January 11, 2014, 02:19:31 PM
Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of auctioning off GLB in bulk pieces as described up stream would appreciate views from a range of people including those mining.

Thanks
Sphere

Sounds like something interesting in principle, think you'd be best off trying a single auction with a chunk of GLB and seeing how it goes. That'll give you an idea of level of interest and potential price points.

BTW - the main web site seem to be out of action at the moment, I get an message saying it has an error connecting to database.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CoinEX integrated pools on: January 11, 2014, 01:45:35 PM
Thanks CaptainFuture.

Does that mean it's a good time to ask again if we could get a StableCoin pool on there along with an SBC/BTC trading pair?  It's currently at v1.5 on the block chain and the previous difficulty issue has been resolved so it's good to go!

Go on, you know you want to.  Wink
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ZEU - ZeusCoin - New PoW coin with random blocks | No Premine on: January 07, 2014, 05:49:32 PM
Not a normal exchange as such but just posted into this link for you. I do have a few ZEU but haven't been actively mining or buying them as doesn't seem to be much dev activity or progress in general. I do read this ZEU thread occasionally though so when I saw the thread below I felt I ought to post ZEU into it.

It's basically an organised way to do person-to-person trades from why I can see between bitcointalk users. Not registered or tried myself. Reasonably basic and new but thought you might be interested to at least be on it given lack of success on main exchanges at the moment. Never does any harm to have the coin name and logo in various lists or pages.

Glad to see this one worked out for you guys since my last visit  Smiley  At least thats the coin name an logo in one more place.

I'm sure the guys over on the [ZEU] Zeus coin thread wouldn't mind being added to this. It's not on any exchanges yet and seen a number of postings recently for people looking to trade.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBC] From Death Comes Life – The Rebirth of StableCoin - URGENT UPDATE on: January 05, 2014, 07:02:45 PM
It won't surprise me if he doesn't come back... I bet he never had any real plans for the coin and it was all a big fat lie to pump & dump.
We don't know that either. Only time will tell if he comes back. He said he was going on vacation so he will probably post an update on his vacation this week.

Guys, to add some facts, FWIW he was on the SBC forum yesterday. I got a reply to my PM I sent on there about the LocalStableCoins project. I wasn't going to post here but thought I ought to so it is known he is still around and doing some communication with the community. That's what I can say based on what I've seen personally.

Posting on LocalStableCoin project (or whatever it turns into) now updated on SBC forum to accurately reflect all available information.

Now let's see where this goes.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBC] From Death Comes Life – The Rebirth of StableCoin - URGENT UPDATE on: January 04, 2014, 01:26:31 PM

Hello, I have been PM'd by oncebitcoinedtwiceshy to explain a bit the situation. I am currently working on the Earthcoin and Quark only exchange. During the last weeks I've received lots of PM's by alt-coin developers for working on a site for their alt-coin. A lot of them have tryed campaigns like oncebitcoinedtwiceshy is doing for SBC. Some of them didn't get any donation (FZ, Nxt) so I am not working on them. SBC is a coin that I personally contacted the developer (artos) to try to get some support but never got a reply.

To show I am not a scammer, I have just sent all the received donations to the SBC development fund (shQpTvLDsgCURkfqyBuCjL79aqYwti2FEJ) and they will be released when project is finished. WIll update soon when I have more news.

Thank you to the SBC community for support.

Cheers,
Gus

Gus, I wanted to reply in public as well as the PM. Thank you very much for responding to my request so that we could clarify the other postings recently around various other coins and this project. We all know development projects are risky and hard to fix dates on.

The fact that you've replied yourself on this thread as suggested by me and provided details of the transfer of donated funds across into Artos's SBC Development Fund is a very good sign and will go a good way to building your reputation and goodwill within the community. I'm sure Artos will be in touch and will be able to release anything as required if this goes to completion.  I will ensure that the main posting on this in the local SBC forum is updated to reflect the situation so that it is clear.

As mentioned earlier, I encourage you to keep posting updates to this thread indicating any progress updates, help you may need, demos, screenshots or whatever. Even small regular updates of the status will keep the community on-board.

Once again, thanks for responding and I'm sure you understand why we wanted to get this clarified for all involved. This can only be a good position to be in going forward as actions always speak louder than words.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][SBC] From Death Comes Life – The Rebirth of StableCoin - URGENT UPDATE on: January 03, 2014, 06:23:34 PM

Any of you interested in SBC, please take a look at this posting on the local forum and watch it for updates if it's something of interest.  Opportunity to support a project thats doing something similar to LocalBitCoins and option to get SBC integrated into it. Read caveats please as I'm just posting it to raise awareness.

For anyone that missed it on here, there is a 48 hour donation push for a LocalBitCoins equivalent project to build SBC into something that's already being developed for Quark and Earthcoin. Full details, basis and risks in linked post on SBC forum above.

So far it's received 3 donations and at almost 24 hours into the 48 hours not sure we're showing the developer there is a big SBC community out there! He works from donations, so hoping if we can show there are plenty of people interested with donations, even if small ones, it shows there would be an interest from the community in having SBC on the platform. May not be for everyone but at least I thought I'd raise it's profile.  Normal disclaimers apply.

Has been posted on here, local SBC forum and subreddit.  Last chance I'll get to do a reminder so hope it at least gets read if nothing else Smiley

PLEASE DONT DONATE - DETAILS POSTED IN LINKED POST ABOVE AND WILL BE UPDATED IF INFO FOUND

Just updated this earlier post with bit in RED.  Will keep main post on local SBC forum updated if I find out more.
