Is it possible to mine with CPU together with the GPU at the same time while mining AION? Any parameter?

Finally a coin different from the others.

Could be profitable. it's worth a try!
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BITCOIN LE - NEW COIN - Ecological Bitcoin - PoW & Low Energy on: August 24, 2018, 08:01:17 PM
Lebitcoin is here Smiley

The first low energy Bitcoin
Bitcoin LE is the world's first Proof-of-Work and low energy cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin LE inherits from Bitcoin and adds a revolutionary layer aimed at reducing its energy footprint.

What do you mean first low energy Bitcoin...in what way?

Hi dkbit98

It means it behaves exactly like Bitcoin but uses 5x less energy.
It is more energy efficient. Have a look at the whitepaper for more details.

But the idea is to stick with the Proof-of-Work consensus and save energy!
Until now, this was only possible with very different consensus algorithms like PoS or others.
And all of those approaches have potential problems...

The release comes with a simple reference CPU (multithreaded) miner, but the coin could be mined with any other hardware.
There is currently no support for other types of miners.

The explorer can be found in the release as well, through a JSON-based CLI.

Being the same ALGO of the bitcoin I guess it can be mined with also the ASICS right? So I see no reason in mining it by CPU... or am I amissing somethng?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Agilmine - Your REAL Altcoin FPGA miner [Updated! 8/16] on: August 24, 2018, 03:41:18 PM
ups says it comes on the 23rd.  if it does use 25 watts that is only 600 a day. which is only 18 kwatts a month at 10 cents that is 1.80 a month for power

the 1070ti is 150 watts or 21.60 a month for power. at 20 cents.

I pointed 2 1050ti's at nicehash to mine keccak  they do 600 mh  my rig pulls 188 watts  that means about 5 kwatts

at 10 cents  = 50 cents on power   I earn 15 cents =  35 cents in the hole.

add  this 2 fpga  watts go to   238 = 6 kwatts maybe 7  hash is 2600  I earn 65 cents  with the two gpus and 2 fpgas

I spend about 60 cents  so I make a 5 cent profit.

or better yet point them to cn7

the gpus alone use 50 cents power  and earn 34 cents mining loss of 16 cents

the 2 fpgas earn  50 cents
the 2 gpus earn    34 cents

you spend 60 cents at 10 cent power

you make 24 cents a day.

point the 2 1050tis at eth

the gpus alone use 50 cents  earn 49 cents  loss of 1 cent

2 fpgas earn  50 cents cost about 10 cents
2 gpus earn   49 cents cost about  50 cents

rig  makes 39 cents a day.  is it a lot no but a dead rig at 10 cent power becomes an earner.

do I think I want 100 fpgas no but a few yes  I do.

So I am will to help out.

Very interesting. It would be also interesting to compare price/profit/powerusage-cost with the bcu1525

I am actively mining TERA. I think it has the type of potential XDAG showed. Good community, active development, and it's still pretty early. Nakashu gives excellent support as well.
I wrote this yesterday...contains links to the wallet, discord, and ann, and describes the ubuntu setup along with some gotchas that apply to windows or linux.

Mining TERA also.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ANN]HashAltcoin F1 miner,NO Pre-order,Most efficient altcoin miner than GPU on: August 21, 2018, 10:43:39 PM
I'm sure the the picture is not of Bitmain miner. We design the similar outter box for adapting the miner slots in the farm.
F1 miner has 'ears', with three big Capacitances which you can found in the picture., the inner boards are totally different with ant miner

Post high resolution pictures of those boards. Post high resolution pictures of the miner, assembled and disassembled from all angles. Post high resolution video of your mining farm zooming in on multiple miners. Send one or more samples for review to trusted forum members.

+1

It would be amazing!! thanks
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: At what price point people will stop mining? on: August 21, 2018, 10:37:16 PM
I have a lot of photovoltaic panels. So for me it's all profit. I will never stop mining. Actually I am adding more FPGAs and more GPUs and also more ASICS and also more PV panels to mine more and more Smiley
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Agilmine - Your REAL Altcoin FPGA miner [Updated! 8/16] on: August 21, 2018, 10:35:45 PM
From my point of view this device is way too expsnive.

For example: 500Mh/s on XDAG. With my 1070ti I can do exactly the double. 1000Mh/s.

I can buy an used 1070ti for 340usd and price is dropping.

The 1070ti uses more energy. But the 1070ti can do the DOUBLE of the hashrate and can mine ANY algo and costs a bit less (soon it will cost much less).

Sorry but this fpga is way overpriced. WAY overpriced. A more fair price would be around 160/180usd MAX. not more.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: August 05, 2018, 09:41:55 PM
Ok. I have bought one of these Z9 Mini from a shop that had it with immediate shipping for 899 usd. We'll see how much I can make and if I can ROI or not
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain launches the Z9 Equihash miner on: August 05, 2018, 08:53:34 PM
what will happen with the next Z9 batch will be realeased at the beginning of SEptember?

Difficulty goes up, profit goes down.

Beginning of Sept includes wave 2 of the z9 minis.  Wave 1 was priced at $2100 and they shipped about 8,000 units.  Wave 2 selling at $850 - my guess is 25,000 units.  Plus Z9 shipping Sept selling for $3300.  I'm guessing 4 times z9 mini power but not clear.  That should keep the sales lower until they are proven.  I'm guessing 2000 units sold. More sold once proven.

I think profit will be 50% lower than today by end of September and will continue to follow the curve down.

I Was thinkin to get a couple of the Z9 Mini but I am not sure if I can ROI with the second batch...

I ran the miner, it finds many valid wallets one after another.

Now what? How to mine?

I don't understand how it works. Valid wallets are appearing one after another. May you guide us in a more detailed way on how to mine this token?

Those are addresses that have CehhGold. Each block has the following format:

✔ Found a valid wallet!
Address:     0x9e9c4ac3e71521a3985e7a8173d5dc78ddf1ffff
Private Key: 0x55eb4bc7c60ab2bbaf9fc1534bf0067b47a59fd03c515997c4fda765da98c6b8

Reward Bit Class: 17
Reward:           1.387e-15 CehhGold

For example, you found address 0x9e9c4ac3e71521a3985e7a8173d5dc78ddf1ffff with private key 0x55eb4bc7c60ab2bbaf9fc1534bf0067b47a59fd03c515997c4fda765da98c6b8. This address holds 1.387e-15 CehhGold, since it is of difficulty 17. If you gave your address with the -a command, then miner signed a message and wrote it: 0x70313600eddff330c70457cd2c00716f6485cb9ae42c60d9ef69933ee4bae2387fa1b12f70263 2497c5dcfc7fd7811821de3729f58e37d3bcfc82627a0d3d0561b. You can easily submit the signature over at http://cehh.io or manually at https://etherscan.io/address/0xab8ea41e0d433e89fc4aa564ef46667c08587a2e#writeContract, using the claimWithSignature method.

With the next release of the miner I'll add an option to read and filter your logs. If you want to find out which addresses give you the most CehhGold, go to the logs output directory and use cat * | grep \"32\" for macOS/Linux or type * | find \"32\" for Windows (untested). This will write to the console the signatures of difficulty 32. Remember that the higher the difficulty the higher the reward.

Thanks for your reply! But I am still a bit confused. I left the system mining it for about 20 mins. A lot of those "FOUND A VALID WALLET" appeard one after another. I used my ETH address to mine it.

now I am checking using METAMASK and the token contract 0xAb8ea41e0D433E89fC4aa564ef46667c08587A2E  but I see no tokens in my account. What did I do wrong?

You did get it right! MetaMask doesn't show all the decimal places. You can see your real balance here: https://etherscan.io/token/0xab8ea41e0d433e89fc4aa564ef46667c08587a2e?a=0xc446073e0c00a1138812b3a99a19df3cb8ace70d

To explain why the amounts are low, remember that CehhGold is any-difficulty-mineable. The higher your hashrate, the higher the reward. I've been mining it since I deployed it, and the highest difficulty signature I've gotten is 32. I expect that it will take at least a couple of months before the total supply even hits 1 CehhGold. Talk about scarcity!

ok now I have understood how it works. But this means that

1) I have to mine
2) I receive signatures for various amounts
3) I MANUALLY have to go through ALL The signatures and find the ones with teh highest value
4) I go to your website and transfer that signature to my account using gwei

correct?
