TitanXP is just a 1080ti (same GP102 proc) with 2 additional SMDs enabled (30 vs 28) and an additional GB of RAM? every other miner for 1080ti also works on it...

hsrminer_neoscrypt isn't working on my cards. Tried zpool and ahashpool. Any ideas?

This miner doesn't work with Titans. See the "0,0,0" flags? I'm pretty sure that means it's not supported yet... that is if this is still going to be developed.

Anyone spending $1k+ for a 1080ti is a moron, sorry.
You can buy the Titan Xp direct from nvidia (with pretty Star Wars logos and all) for under $1200, and it’ll outmine the 1080ti by 5-10%
Does the "moron" part apply to people who fail at math too?
Cheesy
I’ll take an $1150 limited edition Titan Xp over a $1k 1080ti any day. Resell value will be significantly higher on the former.

Just the usual ahashpool, zpool, etc. Use Awesomeminer or sniffdogminer to find the best coin automagically and profit!

If you’re mining eth on the 1080ti, you’re doing it wrong. Even at today’s deflated prices, they’re still bringing in $10/each.

I just saw a msi 1080ti go for $1220 on ebay.

Briefly thought about buying 4 titan xp and holding onto them for a while to see where this debacle goes.

Just can't bring myself to spend over 4500$ on some gpus. Too risky. For all we know next week stock will be there to satisfy demand or the crypto market will dive.

Just because someone is crazy enough to spend $1220 on a 1080ti doesn't necessarily mean they'd spend $1600+ on a titan xp even if that was literally all you could get.
My absolute max limit on a 1080ti for now is $850, even at that price point I won't jump and order one right away. Anything above that, I'll pass.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 15, 2018, 01:05:44 PM
Ok..this is driving me crazy.
If I want to use a *different* version of ccminer for certain algorithms, how do I do that?
Currently for example, there are two options. CCminer, and CCminer alexis. Between the two of them, those cover a good number of algorithms. Now I need to add more:
cc-miner SPMOD for example for phi, or ccminer-Palgin or KlausT for Lyra2z, etc
Options/managed software lets me add iser defined mining software, but its useless because there is no place to point to the binaries
if I go to options/managed miners, I can specify a mining software.exe file, but this seems to be apply to ALL algorithms on that miner, which is again, useless.
Either I simply don't understand the management paradigm, or I'm doing something wrong. There was previous advice to follow directions here:
http://awesomeminer.com/help/uploadsoftware.aspx
But again, useless. That just puts the executable on a remote system.
All I am trying to do is:
Add additional versions of ccminer to the managed software list, with the ability to point to the *specific* ccminer executable for each version of ccminer
Then, click on each ccminer version and assign it specific algorithms.

Sorry, its been really frustrating trying to figure this out.

1 First up, you download and extract the files if needed to you local machine where AM runs.
2. Setup the software in Options -> Managed Software -> Add... in User Defined mining software, for ccMiner forks it's straight forward full api and cli support, just enable the algo with the checkboxes that you want the fork to run on.
3. disable the default ccminer on the algo via the same way by editing them in the top section (predefined mining software), or else you are looking into AM conflicting on the same algo, which then it'll determine which to use via the order they are placed in your Profit Profile.
4. go to the profit profile used for your miner once the algo has been enabled, select the newly added software and click Configure... button, there you need to specify the EXE file of the User defined software, make sure you are browsing the correct host, below is the specific command line parameters if you needed.

if you want to make sure it is setup properly, the benchmark window will show which software is configured to run which algo, go from there, bench, save and mine away!

***
Once you have it running on your local machine (if that is a mining rig too), you can go with the documentation you read on how to set it up on remote mining rigs.
Thank you! Step 4 was the part I was missing Smiley

Make sure its called phi, not phi1612

Has anyone successfully added the PHI1612 algorithm? No matter what I do, it always shows up as 0,00 € when I view the miner details.

I did:

- Add PHI1612 algorithm
- Enable PHI1612 for ccminer
- Add AHashPool entry for it
- Add LuxCoin json

I can benchmark the algorithm and have saved my hashrate. It also shows up correctly in the "Online services" section with realistic looking profit values. LuxCoin also shows up in the "Coins" section. However, when viewing the miner details it's always fixed at 0,00 €, so never gets chosen. In previous versions I added Lyra2z manually and everything worked fine there...

Make sure under the online services you have the correct profile selected. I originally had it on default and phi would show 0.00 (but view details on the miner itself would show a profit calculation and actual profits for phi) and then selected nvidia, phi appeared.

I know its the opposite of your problem but worth a shot to see if it fixes it for you.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 12, 2018, 05:23:02 PM
Put it as phi not phi1612. No need for the additional json either...

I can set up new coin but I cannot automatic update diff if I cannot choose right algo (phi1612 in this case)

Did you create a new algo named PHI1612 under Options -> Algorithms ?
if not, just add one, then if you are adding for saying, Luxcoin from WhatToMine, put this under Options -> Statistics -> Additional Json URL's:
https://whattomine.com/coins/212-lux-phi1612.json

if all that's done and you don't see coin pop up, try exit AM and restart, sometimes new algo/coins don't seem to register until that happens.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 12, 2018, 05:16:38 PM
Did you benchmark your setup? A properly configured 1080ti, using ccminer-alexis should get 1000MH on Skein. As of right now, thats between $11-13/day. That assumes your card is overclocked properly, and you're using alexis vs regular ccminer (huge difference). Skein isn't the most profitable currently.
Mining is not simple, and Awesome Miner is not for amateurs, its a pro level tool for those who want to get the most out of multiple miners, across multiple pools. If you want something simple, and you only have a single rig, just install Nicehash and be done with it.

Its official, this app is shit. I've switched the statistics around endlessly to get the "perfect" daily estimate ratio, and it doesnt even get CLOSE to the so said daily estimates I'm suppose to make. Whoever made up these stats when it came to profit switching need to get shot in the face. As per example Skein is suppose to give me $10 for 1080ti on Zpool.. Guess what, IT DOESNT EVEN COME CLOSE!!!

Made less than a dollar in 5 hours, WTF?!?!? What a hunk of shit. Even when mining with coin Specified it still mines whatever the fuck it wants so why even have the option?!

This is not fair if there's a misconfiguration issue on your end. I do not own a 1080Ti and can't say for the hashrate, but you are ranting without giving much information on your end, no need for rude language, AM does not mine for you and it does not lie to you if it's been fed with misinformation in the first place.

According to early test of skein hashrate with 1080Ti, it does approx 600MH/s without oc, what is your hashrate and what is pool's reported hashrate? if you plug in into say...WhatToMine, 600 MH/s gives you shy of $7 if you are mining DGB-Skein, and $2.7 per day for XMY-Skein...your 1 dollar in 5 hours seemed though pretty unimpressive for a top of range $1k card but isn't far off the estimates. not to mention a double hit with DGB-BTC pair value drop and BTC-USD value drop....what would you expect?

FYI...my 1060s does more than $7 (correction, forgot not using USD on my AM), $6+ each a day and actual reported earning isn't far off...it's not AM's fault if something isn't optimized on your end

Also...why would you be mining skein when supposedly Equihash/Neoscrypt has much higher reported revenue? seems more like wrong recorded hashrate in your profit profile, did you benchmark properly?

If I want to add non profit switching pools, do I need to setup,an alternate miner and use that?
Also, is there a way to add profit switching pools that aren’t on the official list?
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 06, 2018, 08:33:25 PM
I was trying to get profit switching info for my x11 asic miners for Granatgas. This support is in the release notes for v4.09, but I can't seem to get it working. Granatgas shows $0.00 for unspec x11. Only nicehash or zpool seem to show profit info for asics..
I have the Pro edition if that helps?
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner]- Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 5000 miners on: January 05, 2018, 03:18:48 PM
Yes, the version Awesomeminer downloads is broken. You need to get Alexis from elsewhere..best place I found is to extract from the bin directory on multipoolminer or Nemo, then just copy it back to awesomeminer (under %appdata%)

Does anyone know why ccminer alexis is showing Gpu0 invalid argument when ccminer 2.2.3 works fine for Nist5?  I'd rather use the alexis version as its much faster.  It works fine in multipool miner.

Some questions and issues..

Since this was working great on my first dual 1080ti node, I upgraded, but running into the following problem.
I have a remote AMD node, running 3x R9 290s and a pair of RX580s. Two sets of cards, with very different performance. I’d like to be able to run this as 2 additional “groups” of cards but can’t figure out how. Also, how do I keep different sets of benchmarks? I’ve read the faq, but seems very unclear to me.

Also having some major issues with sgmimer, which I don’t normally use. It keeps detecting my igpu. Also noticed that it’s the old 32bit version?

Lastly, for my nvidia rig, how do I use different versions of ccminer for different algorithms? I see the main tpruvot 2.23 fork, and the Alexis78, but need to add others as well. There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to do this?

Thanks!

it was by changing my DMD to Ripple Smiley
DMD is a good coin, don't get me wrong. Staking needs to be far more reliable and consistent though for it to be worth it. When I was getting a consistent 25% annualized return, it was. After the 3.0 update and massive difficulty increase, it wasn't. Simple as that. Its a good concept, just needs some tweaking.

Making a steady $8/day on mine. Will be even better once Helium and Bitcoin Segwit2x release which are both X11 coins.

Not just a pump, good things are still going on for a good project

Like what?

            <crickets>

Damn i know you legendary accts want helium to grow but the amount of hate you imposing on the thread is tragic. regardless of how you feel about georgem, you still have to keep the innocent investor who has money in this project in mind. not fair to fuck them too cos you have issues with george. just saying. i know am a newb and my words probably don't count to you but if you really think about it, then you know its the truth. some ppl just randomly bought into spread (me), they can't get in on the helium airdrop, so their only ticket is spread. plz consider and keep us in mind too.

Much of a newb myself. It does not take a trading / crypto wizard to see the bull crap being spewed here and the very obvious correlation to the HLM project (as far as tracking price of SPR-BTC). I have been following this since the HLM announcement; I made decent holdings of SPR back then. I promptly dumped every single SPR I held as soon as the block height for the snapshot had passed. At this point, even if HLM never launches, I made enough off the SPR ride to be way over positive (however, I eagerly await the HLM main-net).

The SPR dev is clearly shady af :
1. The dude has a patreon account for working on an open source coin of which he holds major bags
2. His forum has a fee associated with joining
3. Rarely posts any useful updates, github is DEAD (last meaningful commit is about 2 years old)
4. He rarely eruditely defends himself when accused of stuff save for calling folks roaches Smiley

I understand if Mr Georgem is busy playing with acrylic cases and raspberry pis, but this is no way to build a business. As an investor you should be appalled. As a developer you should be disgusted by the slow and frozen molasses like pace by which this crawls along. As a person you should just stay the hell away from SPR until some of the above points are resolved.

I hold 0 SPR, and am not trying to get this project to tank so I can scoop up juicy SPR on the cheap. The only fair price for this shitcoin is 0 SAT, if you are holding bags - GTFO before you get burnt. If however you are working on a "wait for this to pump so I can be out" kinda event, then godspeed friends!

THat really wasn't good advice, now was it? SPR up 80% today...

Any news coming? POS rewards seem very low (~8% annual) ..much lower than before. Is this coin still worth holding?
