81  Economy / Speculation / Re: fluctuating btc price on: June 29, 2017, 12:00:09 PM
any announcements in the next days that might bring bitcoin price up/down significantly?
Activation of segwit 2x in August 1st is expected to make bitcoin price rise high.Segwit activation may reduce transaction fees and it may encourage more users to use bitcoins which would increase demand for more bitcoins.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: India to legalize bitcoin on: June 29, 2017, 11:45:49 AM
Finally, a good news for bitcoin enthusiasts in india has come. They had been longing for such an announcement.Previously, they feared that india could ban bitcoins considering it as a ponzi scheme.Definitely,it would create a positive impact on bitcoin price.
83  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins value on: June 29, 2017, 11:40:53 AM
What are the factors that affect the bitcoins value ? Just curious guys. Wanted to learn more.
Increase and decrease in demand for bitcoins mainly determines bitcoin value. Also factors like news spreading rumours that hard fork is going to occur and bitcoin is going to die also affects bitcoin price. We have already seen price decline in bitcoins due to such situations.
84  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Speculators Around on: June 29, 2017, 11:26:35 AM
Don't ever follow any one's predictions blindly. No one could accurately predict the crypto market as it is highly volatile.Even if some one is predicting, then there is more chance that they might be just trying to dump some coin or to pump a coin of their interest.Just do your own research and take decisions to invest.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: What determines the cost of bitcoins? on: June 29, 2017, 11:20:56 AM
The bitcoin community's support mainly determines bitcoin price. In other words,we could say that increase and decrease in bitcoin price would make bitcoin price to rise and fall.Since its a decentralized currency,no central authority is available to control it.
86  Economy / Speculation / Re: $10K at the end of 2017? on: June 29, 2017, 11:17:31 AM
I think its highly impossible to reach that high price. We may expect $10k price in the year 2020.But in 2017 end, bitcoin could be expected to cross $3500.In august 1st,after segwit activation,we could expect bitcoin price to rise high.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this right time to buy bitcoin?? on: June 29, 2017, 11:10:48 AM
Yes,this may also be the right time to buy bitcoins. Its price was around $2850 two weeks ago and now its price is $2500.But its price bis expected to cross $3000 since segwit is to be activated in August 1st.Since mass adoption of bitcoin is taking place all over the world, price is expected to rise more than that.So don't missoo  the train before its too late.
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: June 28, 2017, 03:12:49 PM
Although bitcoin is a potential coin,it could not end world poverty since its supply is limited to only 21 million coins. It has transformed the lives of many people but still it is highly impossible to eradicate poverty from the world. But it could atleast change the life of some poor people.
89  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: June 28, 2017, 11:03:32 AM
Some countries may fear that they would lose their revenues which they get from taxes. They fear that they may not be able to control the economy since bitcoin is a decentralized currency. They also fear that bitcoin may increase trade of illegal products in the country.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 28, 2017, 08:38:15 AM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

I think there are many people who rely on bitcoins and use bitcoins as source of income. Most of them offer their services for bitcoins. Some are employed on bitcoin related forums. You can start with offering your services for bitcoins as none get paid for free. I think Signature campaign would be nice for start.
Yes,i too started my bitcoin journey with signature campaign. Then i started to invest my bitcoins in some altcoins and started trading.I done all these side by side with my daily job.Once i got confidence that i could lead my life with my bitcoin earning,i just left my job in Dubai and returned to india. Now i am enjoying a peaceful life of financial freedom with bitcoin.
91  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: June 28, 2017, 08:32:17 AM
Which one suits you the most?
I always use Electrum wallet. No synchronizing issues. No safety issues.Multiple addresses are given. We could set our transaction fee manually. We get a seed which is generated during registration which could be used for recovering our account in future.
92  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you like best about bitcoin? on: June 27, 2017, 03:32:47 PM
The best aspect about bitcoin is its decentralized nature uncontrolled by any one.Now every one including normal people could send money P2P even without a bank account.Freedom from banking sectors. Also very low transaction fee compared to banks.
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India's small merchants accepts bitcoin on: June 27, 2017, 03:11:21 PM

https://qz.com/1009386/bitcoin-accepted-here-the-tiny-family-restaurant-in-india-thats-embraced-virtual-currency/

The government of India is nearing to accept bitcoin in their country as a mode of payment. With that upcoming adoption small merchants are now thinking to accepts bitcoin as a form of payment in exchange for their goods.

But even without the governments declaration  the Suryawanshi restaurants in Bengaluru’s Indiranagar and Whitefield neighbourhoods  accepts bitcoin as payment. The reason why this small store accepts bitcoin is due to the owner who is a bitcoin enthusiasts and was accepting bitcoins since 2013.

With the governments move, soon many small merchants will be following Suryawanshi's example.

Thats really a great move.Every bitcoin enthusiast should follow this person and change should begin from ourselves.Well, bitcoin going to be legal in such a big country would really help for bitcoin progress.Bitcoin is soon going to be a part of day to day life of every one.
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: June 27, 2017, 03:02:52 PM
In this time, bitcoin is not convenient to use for daily expense
It's like gold, you are not spend gold to buy some trivial need
Maybe in the future, after the problem of long transaction and high fees has been solved,we can use it for daily matters
Definitely.bitcoin is no more economical to buy small products due to higher transaction fee. So,bitcoin should be considered just as a commodity like gold and not as a currency. Also we could wait for Segwit 2x to get activated and see whether transaction fee decreases.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: June 27, 2017, 07:08:34 AM
According to my friend preev.com, as of press time, the value of Bitcoin is standing at $2,351. Though I would say that this still considered as a feat, some are worried because it almost reached $2,800 again after the correction that happened days ago.

I have read that the decline can partly be contributed to newcomers especially neophyte traders who still have to be well-versed on the market...and can easily be ignited to do panic selling once they can fell that anything can be wrong.

Against this backdrop...are you holding on to your Bitcoin or transferring it into another digital currency?
Certainly, newbies would get panic on seeing such drops and immediately they would try to sell their bitcoins which would be only beneficial to big whales.Well,i am not a newbie and i have seen lots of ups and downs in bitcoin history. So,i don't even care about such fluctuations and i will continue to hold bitcoin on a long term basis.
96  Economy / Economics / Re: Which country are you from? Here list THIRTY popular bitcoin countries for trade on: June 27, 2017, 07:04:24 AM
I am from India, neighbour of china. But still, bitcoin users are much low when compared to china which dominate bitcoin world with large number of mining farms. But,good news is that recently, indian government has shown green flag in favour of bitcoin legalization.Zebpay and Unocoin are big bitcoin exchanges in the country.More people are getting aware of bitcoin nowadays and soon india would become an important place for bitcoin transactions.
97  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the economy situation in your country that bad? on: June 27, 2017, 06:58:12 AM
our country India is facing the worst economic situations now.GDP rate has fallen from 7 to 6.1.Due to demonitization, more people have lost their jobs, production has gone down in industries.People even struggle to get their daily wages.Government said that it would destroy black money by demonitizing high value notes, but it failed to deliver the expected results.Instead,it has made country's economy to fall down.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: June 27, 2017, 06:41:29 AM
Many posts discuss the possibility of exchange earnings with selling Bitcoin (and buy later). Other posts discuss the Bitcoin exchange rate, it seems that many agree there is a strong upward tendency and the volatility is hard to predict. It seems dat selling Bitcoin results in a serious probability of an opportunity loss. Selling Bitcoin can only be motivated by an (partial) exit. Do you agree?
In today's situation, definitely selling bitcoins would be an opportunity loss since bitcoin price is continuously increasing and since experts had already predicted that bitcoin would move in bullish trend through out this year.Bitcoin is a long term investment coin unlike altcoins which are short term investments.Hence, just hold your bitcoins for some more time.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: June 27, 2017, 06:24:41 AM

Today many countries accept bitcoin as a virtual currency, is it because bitcoin is so high that they think bitcoin can change the country's economy, or because the country has many bitcoin users already?
Yes,bitcoin has already improved the economy of many under developed countries.Liberland has already announced bitcoin as its national currency.People of nigeria have started using bitcoins more instead of their currency due to economic crisis.Iran is discussing to use bitcoin to bye pass US sanctions.Even more countries suffering from crisis are getting ready to accept bitcoin. Many workers are sending their money to africa from abroad via m-pesa in bitcoins with very low fee.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: June 27, 2017, 06:16:56 AM
What are the features that a good investor should have? What are the characteristics of people who have enough capital and earn money from money?

What are the factors that make these people successful in their investments?
A good investor should not get panic under any situations. He must have have a thorough knowledge about the market. He must be able to correctly target the most under valued asset or coin.He should be able to judge the changes that could occur in the market much earlier.
